WP DSGVO Tools (GDPR) <= 3.1.23 had an AJAX action, ‘admin-dismiss-unsubscribe‘, which lacked a capability check and a nonce check and was available to unauthenticated users, and did not check the post type when deleting unsubscription requests. As such, it was possible for an attacker to permanently delete an arbitrary post or page on the site by sending an AJAX request with the “action” parameter set to “admin-dismiss-unsubscribe” and the “id” parameter set to the post to be deleted. Sending such a request would move the post to the trash, and repeating the request would permanently delete the post in question.

Fluent Forms Pro Add On Pack <= 6.1.17 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Arbitrary Attachment Deletion

The Fluent Forms Pro Add On Pack plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.17. This is due to the `deleteFile()` method in the `Uploader` class lacking nonce verification and capability checks. The AJAX action is registered via `addPublicAjaxAction()` which creates both `wp_ajax_` and `wp_ajax_nopriv_` hooks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress media attachments via the `attachment_id` parameter. Note: The researcher described file deletion via the `path` parameter using `sanitize_file_name()`, but the actual code uses `Protector::decrypt()` for path-based deletion which prevents exploitation. The vulnerability is exploitable via the `attachment_id` parameter instead.

CubeCart is an ecommerce software solution. Prior to version 6.5.11, a logic flaw exists in the newsletter subscription endpoint that allows an attacker to unsubscribe any user without their consent. By changing the value of the force_unsubscribe parameter in the POST request to 1, an attacker can force the removal of any valid subscriber’s email address. This issue has been patched in version 6.5.11.

The Rank Math SEO – AI SEO Tools to Dominate SEO Rankings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and loss of data due to a missing capability check on the 'update_metadata' function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.228. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to insert new and update existing metadata beginning with 'rank_math', and delete arbitrary existing user metadata and term metadata. Deleting existing usermeta can cause a loss of access to the administrator dashboard for any registered users, including Administrators.
