Ratpack is a toolkit for creating web applications. In versions prior to 1.9.0, the default configuration of client side sessions results in unencrypted, but signed, data being set as cookie values. This means that if something sensitive goes into the session, it could be read by something with access to the cookies. For this to be a vulnerability, some kind of sensitive data would need to be stored in the session and the session cookie would have to leak. For example, the cookies are not configured with httpOnly and an adjacent XSS vulnerability within the site allowed capture of the cookies. As of version 1.9.0, a securely randomly generated signing key is used. As a workaround, one may supply an encryption key, as per the documentation recommendation.

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive system usage information. The vulnerability is due to a lack of proper data protection mechanisms for certain components in the underlying Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by attempting to observe certain network traffic when accessing the APIC. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access and collect certain tracking data and usage statistics on an affected device.
In Directus 8.x through 8.8.1, an attacker can learn sensitive information such as the version of the CMS, the PHP version used by the site, and the name of the DBMS, simply by view the result of the api-aa, called automatically upon a connection. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer

An issue was found on the Ruijie EG-2000 series gateway. An attacker can easily dump cleartext stored passwords in /data/config.text with simple XORs. This affects EG-2000SE EG_RGOS 11.1(1)B1.
An issue has been identified in the CTX269106 mitigation tool for Citrix ShareFile storage zones controller which causes the ShareFile file encryption option to become disabled if it had previously been enabled. Customers are only affected by this issue if they previously selected “Enable Encryption” in the ShareFile configuration page and did not re-select this setting after running the CTX269106 mitigation tool. ShareFile customers who have not run the CTX269106 mitigation tool or who re-selected “Enable Encryption” immediately after running the tool are unaffected by this issue.
In Bitcoin Core 0.18.0, bitcoin-qt stores wallet.dat data unencrypted in memory. Upon a crash, it may dump a core file. If a user were to mishandle a core file, an attacker can reconstruct the user's wallet.dat file, including their private keys, via a grep "6231 0500" command.

In TYPO3 before versions 6.2.57, 7.6.51, 8.7.40, 9.5.25, 10.4.14, 11.1.1 user session identifiers were stored in cleartext - without processing of additional cryptographic hashing algorithms. This vulnerability cannot be exploited directly and occurs in combination with a chained attack - like for instance SQL injection in any other component of the system. This is fixed in versions 6.2.57, 7.6.51, 8.7.40, 9.5.25, 10.4.14, 11.1.1.
The login_to_simulator method in Linden Lab Second Life, as used by the secondlife:// protocol handler and possibly other Second Life login mechanisms, sends an MD5 hash in cleartext in the passwd field, which allows remote attackers to login to an account by sniffing the network and then sending this hash to a Second Life authentication server.

The manipulation leads to cleartext storage in a file or on disk. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
The DLink Router DIR-895L MFC v1.21b05 is vulnerable to credentials disclosure in telnet service through decompilation of firmware, that allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain access to the firmware and to extract sensitive data.
An issue was discovered in URVE Build 24.03.2020. The password of an integration user account (used for the connection of the MS Office 365 Integration Service) is stored in cleartext in configuration files as well as in the database. The following files contain the password in cleartext: Profiles/urve/files/sql_db.backup, Server/data/pg_wal/000000010000000A000000DD, Server/data/base/16384/18617, and Server/data/base/17202/8708746. Prometheus is an open-source monitoring system and time series database. Prior to versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3, the client_secret field in the Azure AD remote write OAuth configuration (storage/remote/azuread) was typed as string instead of Secret. Prometheus redacts fields of type Secret when serving the configuration via the /-/config HTTP API endpoint. Because the field was a plain string, the Azure OAuth client secret was exposed in plaintext to any user or process with access to that endpoint. This issue has been patched in versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3.
An issue was discovered on D-Link DSL-2888A devices with firmware prior to AU_2.31_V1.1.47ae55. IBL Online Weather before 4.3.5a allows attackers to obtain sensitive information by reading the IWEBSERVICE_JSONRPC_COOKIE cookie.
Antrea is a Kubernetes networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native. Prior to 2.4.5 and 2.5.2, a missing encryption vulnerability affects inter-Node Pod traffic. In Antrea clusters configured for dual-stack networking with IPsec encryption enabled (trafficEncryptionMode: ipsec), Antrea fails to apply encryption for IPv6 Pod traffic. While the IPv4 traffic is correctly encrypted via ESP (Encapsulating Security Payload), traffic using IPv6 is transmitted in plaintext. This occurs because the packets are encapsulated (using Geneve or VXLAN) but bypass the IPsec encryption layer. Impacted Users: users with dual-stack clusters and IPsec encryption enabled. Single-stack IPv4 or IPv6 clusters are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.5 and 2.5.2.

Bulwark Webmail is a self-hosted webmail client for Stalwart Mail Server. Prior to version 1.4.10, the GET /api/auth/session endpoint previously included the user's plaintext password in the JSON response. This exposed credentials to browser logs, local caches, and network proxie. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.10.
