Gource through 0.26 logs to a predictable file name (/tmp/gource-$UID.tmp), enabling attackers to overwrite an arbitrary file via a symlink attack.
Drupal 6.x before 6.16 and 5.x before version 5.22 does not properly block users under certain circumstances. A user with an open session that was blocked could maintain their session on the Drupal site despite being blocked.
OnionShare is an open source tool that lets you securely and anonymously share files, host websites, and chat with friends using the Tor network. In affected versions it is possible to change the username to that of another chat participant with an additional space character at the end of the name string. An adversary with access to the chat environment can use the rename feature to impersonate other participants by adding whitespace characters at the end of the username.
misc.php in DeluxeBB 1.3 allows remote attackers to register accounts without a valid email address via a valemail action with the valmem set to a pre-assigned user ID, which is visible from a memberlist action.
A vulnerability in the change password functionality of Cisco Expressway Series and Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with Read-only credentials to elevate privileges to Administrator on an affected system. This vulnerability is due to incorrect handling of password change requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the application as a Read-only user and sending a crafted request to the web-based management interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to alter the passwords of any user on the system, including an administrative user, and then impersonate that user. Note: Cisco Expressway Series refers to the Expressway Control (Expressway-C) device and the Expressway Edge (Expressway-E) device.
Multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an authenticated attacker to delete or read arbitrary files on the underlying operating system. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker must have valid credentials on an affected device. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
Multiple vulnerabilities in the web interface of Cisco Webex Meetings could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack or upload arbitrary files as recordings. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
Since "algorithm" isn't enforced in jwt.decode()in jwt-simple 0.3.0 and earlier, a malicious user could choose what algorithm is sent sent to the server. If the server is expecting RSA but is sent HMAC-SHA with RSA's public key, the server will think the public key is actually an HMAC private key. This could be used to forge any data an attacker wants.
In Helm before versions 2.16.11 and 3.3.2 there is a bug in which the `alias` field on a `Chart.yaml` is not properly sanitized. This could lead to the injection of unwanted information into a chart. This issue has been patched in Helm 3.3.2 and 2.16.11. A possible workaround is to manually review the `dependencies` field of any untrusted chart, verifying that the `alias` field is either not used, or (if used) does not contain newlines or path characters.
In Helm before versions 2.16.11 and 3.3.2 plugin names are not sanitized properly. As a result, a malicious plugin author could use characters in a plugin name that would result in unexpected behavior, such as duplicating the name of another plugin or spoofing the output to `helm --help`. This issue has been patched in Helm 3.3.2. A possible workaround is to not install untrusted Helm plugins. Examine the `name` field in the `plugin.yaml` file for a plugin, looking for characters outside of the [a-zA-Z0-9._-] range.
In the `@actions/core` npm module before version 1.2.6,`addPath` and `exportVariable` functions communicate with the Actions Runner over stdout by generating a string in a specific format. Workflows that log untrusted data to stdout may invoke these commands, resulting in the path or environment variables being modified without the intention of the workflow or action author. The runner will release an update that disables the `set-env` and `add-path` workflow commands in the near future. For now, users should upgrade to `@actions/core v1.2.6` or later, and replace any instance of the `set-env` or `add-path` commands in their workflows with the new Environment File Syntax. Workflows and actions using the old commands or older versions of the toolkit will start to warn, then error out during workflow execution.
In Eclipse Jetty versions 9.4.0 thru 9.4.46, and 10.0.0 thru 10.0.9, and 11.0.0 thru 11.0.9 versions, the parsing of the authority segment of an http scheme URI, the Jetty HttpURI class improperly detects an invalid input as a hostname. This can lead to failures in a Proxy scenario.
GNOME Nautilus before 3.23.90 allows attackers to spoof a file type by using the .desktop file extension, as demonstrated by an attack in which a .desktop file's Name field ends in .pdf but this file's Exec field launches a malicious "sh -c" command. In other words, Nautilus provides no UI indication that a file actually has the potentially unsafe .desktop extension; instead, the UI only shows the .pdf extension. One (slightly) mitigating factor is that an attack requires the .desktop file to have execute permission. The solution is to ask the user to confirm that the file is supposed to be treated as a .desktop file, and then remember the user's answer in the metadata::trusted field.
IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.5 and 7.6 could allow an authenticated user to manipulate work orders to forge emails which could be used to conduct further advanced attacks. IBM X-Force ID: 126684.
Cyrus IMAP before 3.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to write to arbitrary files via a crafted (1) SYNCAPPLY, (2) SYNCGET or (3) SYNCRESTORE command.
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime with secure defaults. Insufficient validation of parameters in `Deno.makeTemp*` APIs would allow for creation of files outside of the allowed directories. This may allow the user to overwrite important files on the system that may affect other systems. A user may provide a prefix or suffix to a `Deno.makeTemp*` API containing path traversal characters. This is fixed in Deno 1.41.1.
An issue was discovered in Mattermost Server before 4.3.0, 4.2.1, and 4.1.2. An attacker could create fictive system-message posts via webhooks and slash commands, in the v3 or v4 REST API.
Nextcloud Server before 9.0.55 and 10.0.2 suffers from a bypass in the quota limitation. Due to not properly sanitizing values provided by the `OC-Total-Length` HTTP header an authenticated adversary may be able to exceed their configured user quota. Thus using more space than allowed by the administrator.
HTTP Parameter Override is identified in the IBM Infosphere Master Data Management (MDM) 10.1. 11.0. 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6 product. It enables attackers by exposing the presence of duplicated parameters which may produce an anomalous behavior in the application that can be potentially exploited.
Dell PowerScale OneFS versions 8.2.x through 9.7.0.1 contains an improper input validation vulnerability. A low privileged remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to loss of integrity.
An input validation vulnerability was found in Ansible's mysql_user module before 2.2.1.0, which may fail to correctly change a password in certain circumstances. Thus the previous password would still be active when it should have been changed.
The OpenShift Enterprise 3 router does not properly sort routes when processing newly added routes. An attacker with access to create routes can potentially overwrite existing routes and redirect network traffic for other users to their own site.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Hop Engine. This issue affects Apache Hop Engine: before 2.8.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.8.0, which fixes the issue. When Hop Server writes links to the PrepareExecutionPipelineServlet page one of the parameters provided to the user was not properly escaped. The variable not properly escaped is the "id", which is not directly accessible by users creating pipelines making the risk of exploiting this low. This issue only affects users using the Hop Server component and does not directly affect the client.
GLPI stands for Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique. GLPI is a Free Asset and IT Management Software package that provides ITIL Service Desk features, licenses tracking and software auditing. Users may be able to inject custom fields values in `mailto` links. This issue has been patched, please upgrade to version 10.0.4. There are currently no known workarounds.
Cisco IOS 15.2(04)M and 15.4(03)M lets physical-interface ACLs supersede virtual PPP interface ACLs, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended network-traffic restrictions in opportunistic circumstances by using PPP, aka Bug ID CSCur61303.
Vapor is an HTTP web framework for Swift. Prior to version 4.90.0, Vapor's `vapor_urlparser_parse` function uses `uint16_t` indexes when parsing a URI's components, which may cause integer overflows when parsing untrusted inputs. This vulnerability does not affect Vapor directly but could impact applications relying on the URI type for validating user input. The URI type is used in several places in Vapor. A developer may decide to use URI to represent a URL in their application (especially if that URL is then passed to the HTTP Client) and rely on its public properties and methods. However, URI may fail to properly parse a valid (albeit abnormally long) URL, due to string ranges being converted to 16-bit integers. An attacker may use this behavior to trick the application into accepting a URL to an untrusted destination. By padding the port number with zeros, an attacker can cause an integer overflow to occur when the URL authority is parsed and, as a result, spoof the host. Version 4.90.0 contains a patch for this issue. As a workaround, validate user input before parsing as a URI or, if possible, use Foundation's `URL` and `URLComponents` utilities.
IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager 2.0 before 2.0.2 FP8, when Virtual Appliance is used, allows remote authenticated users to append to arbitrary files via unspecified vectors.
IBM Sametime Meeting Server 8.5.2 and 9.0 could allow a malicious user to lower other users hands in the meeting. IBM X-Force ID: 113937.

IBM Sametime Meeting Server 8.5.2 and 9.0 could allow an authenticated and invited user of Sametime meeting to lower any or all hands in an e-meeting, thus spoofing results of votes in the meeting. IBM X-Force ID: 113803.
Python discord bot is the community bot for the Python Discord community. In affected versions when a non-blacklisted URL and an otherwise triggering filter token is included in the same message the token filter does not trigger. This means that by including any non-blacklisted URL moderation filters can be bypassed. This issue has been resolved in commit 67390298852513d13e0213870e50fb3cff1424e0
yetiforcecrm is vulnerable to Business Logic Errors
Open Forms is an application for creating and publishing smart forms. Open Forms supports file uploads as one of the form field types. These fields can be configured to allow only certain file extensions to be uploaded by end users (e.g. only PDF / Excel / ...). The input validation of uploaded files is insufficient in versions prior to 1.0.9 and 1.1.1. Users could alter or strip file extensions to bypass this validation. This results in files being uploaded to the server that are of a different file type than indicated by the file name extension. These files may be downloaded (manually or automatically) by staff and/or other applications for further processing. Malicious files can therefore find their way into internal/trusted networks. Versions 1.0.9 and 1.1.1 contain patches for this issue. As a workaround, an API gateway or intrusion detection solution in front of open-forms may be able to scan for and block malicious content before it reaches the Open Forms application.
An authenticated Apache Traffic Control Traffic Ops user with Portal-level privileges can send a request with a specially-crafted email subject to the /deliveryservices/request Traffic Ops endpoint to send an email, from the Traffic Ops server, with an arbitrary body to an arbitrary email address. Apache Traffic Control 5.1.x users should upgrade to 5.1.3 or 6.0.0. 4.1.x users should upgrade to 5.1.3.

A vulnerability was discovered in GitLab versions before 13.1.10, 13.2.8, and 13.3.4. An insufficient check in the GraphQL api allowed a maintainer to delete a repository.
A vulnerability in Cisco WebEx Meeting Center could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to initiate connections to arbitrary hosts, aka a "URL Redirection Vulnerability." The vulnerability is due to insufficient access control for HTTP traffic directed to the Cisco WebEx Meeting Center. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious URL to the Cisco WebEx Meeting Center. An exploit could allow the attacker to connect to arbitrary hosts. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvf63843.
Strapi before 3.0.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions because templates are stored in a global variable without any sanitation. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to update the email template for both password reset and account confirmation emails.
Nextcloud Mail is a mail app for Nextcloud. In versions prior to 1.9.6, the Nextcloud Mail application does not, by default, render images in emails to not leak the read state. The privacy filter failed to filter images with a `background-image` CSS attribute. Note that the images were still passed through the Nextcloud image proxy, and thus there was no IP leakage. The issue was patched in version 1.9.6 and 1.10.0. No workarounds are known to exist.
TorrentFlux 2.4 allows remote authenticated users to obtain other users' cookies via the cid parameter in an editCookies action to profile.php.
Adaptive Computing Moab before 7.2.9 and 8 before 8.0.0, when a pre-generated key is used, does not validate that the requesting user matches the actor in the message, which allows remote authenticated users to impersonate arbitrary users via the actor field in a message.
The server in Adaptive Computing Moab before 7.2.9 and 8 before 8.0.0 does not properly validate the message owner matches the submitting user, which allows remote authenticated users to impersonate arbitrary users via the UserId and Owner tags.
