Broken Authentication in Atlassian Connect Express (ACE) from version 3.0.2 before version 6.6.0: Atlassian Connect Express is a Node.js package for building Atlassian Connect apps. Authentication between Atlassian products and the Atlassian Connect Express app occurs with a server-to-server JWT or a context JWT. Atlassian Connect Express versions from 3.0.2 before 6.6.0 erroneously accept context JWTs in lifecycle endpoints (such as installation) where only server-to-server JWTs should be accepted, permitting an attacker to send authenticated re-installation events to an app.
This High severity Path Traversal (Arbitrary Write) vulnerability was introduced in versions: 9.12.0, 10.3.0 and remain present in 11.0.0 of Jira Software Data Center and Server. This Path Traversal (Arbitrary Write) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.7, allows an attacker to modify any filesystem path writable by the Jira JVM process. Atlassian recommends that Jira Software Data Center and Server customers upgrade to the latest version; if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions: Jira Software Data Center and Server 9.12: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.12.28 Jira Software Data Center and Server 10.3: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 10.3.12 Jira Software Data Center and Server 11.0: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 11.1.0 See the release notes. The identifier_hash for a session token in Atlassian Crowd before version 2.9.1 could potentially collide with an identifier_hash for another user or a user in a different directory, this allows remote attackers who can authenticate to Crowd or an application using Crowd for authentication to gain access to another user's session provided they can make their identifier hash collide with another user's session identifier hash.
The 'crowd-application' plugin module (notably used by the Google Apps plugin) in Atlassian Crowd from version 1.5.0 before version 3.1.2 allowed an attacker to impersonate a Crowd user in REST requests by being able to authenticate to a directory bound to an application using the feature. Given the following situation: the Crowd application is bound to directory 1 and has a user called admin and the Google Apps application is bound to directory 2, which also has a user called admin, it was possible to authenticate REST requests using the credentials of the user coming from directory 2 and impersonate the user from directory 1.
The ViewUpgrades resource in Jira before version 7.13.4, from version 8.0.0 before version 8.0.4, and from version 8.1.0 before version 8.1.1 allows remote attackers who have obtained access to administrator's session to access the ViewUpgrades administrative resource without needing to re-authenticate to pass "WebSudo" through an improper access control vulnerability.
A vulnerability in multiple Atlassian products allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to bypass Servlet Filters used by first and third party apps. The impact depends on which filters are used by each app, and how the filters are used. This vulnerability can result in authentication bypass and cross-site scripting. An authentication vulnerability was discovered in Jira Service Management Server and Data Center which allows an attacker to impersonate another user and gain access to a Jira Service Management instance under certain circumstances_._ With write access to a User Directory and outgoing email enabled on a Jira Service Management instance, an attacker could gain access to signup tokens sent to users with accounts that have never been logged into. Access to these tokens can be obtained in two cases: * If the attacker is included on Jira issues or requests with these users, or * If the attacker is forwarded or otherwise gains access to emails containing a “View Request” link from these users. Bot accounts are particularly susceptible to this scenario. On instances with single sign-on, external customer accounts can be affected in projects where anyone can create their own account.
A vulnerability in Jira Seraph allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication by sending a specially crafted HTTP request. This affects Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center versions before 8.13.18, versions 8.14.0 and later before 8.20.6, and versions 8.21.0 and later before 8.22.0. Broken Authentication in Atlassian Connect Spring Boot (ACSB) in version 1.1.0 before 2.1.3 and from version 2.1.4 before 2.1.5: Atlassian Connect Spring Boot is a Java Spring Boot package for building Atlassian Connect apps. Authentication between Atlassian products and the Atlassian Connect Spring Boot app occurs with a server-to-server JWT or a context JWT. Atlassian Connect Spring Boot versions 1.1.0 before 2.1.3 and versions 2.1.4 before 2.1.5 erroneously accept context JWTs in lifecycle endpoints (such as installation) where only server-to-server JWTs should be accepted, permitting an attacker to send authenticated re-installation events to an app.
An issue was discovered in LIVEBOX Collaboration vDesk through v018. A Bypass of Two-Factor Authentication can occur under the /login/backup_code endpoint and the /api/v1/vdeskintegration/createbackupcodes endpoint, because the application allows a user to generate or regenerate the backup codes before checking the TOTP.
