Versions of the package spatie/browsershot from 0.0.0 are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the setUrl() function due to a missing restriction on user input, enabling attackers to access localhost and list all of its directories.
GeoServer is an open source server that allows users to share and edit geospatial data. An improper URI validation vulnerability exists that enables an unauthorized attacker to perform XML External Entities (XEE) attack, then send GET request to any HTTP server. By default, GeoServer use PreventLocalEntityResolver class from GeoTools to filter out malicious URIs in XML entities before resolving them. The URI must match the regex (?i)(jar:file|http|vfs)[^?#;]*\\.xsd. But the regex leaves a chance for attackers to request to any HTTP server or limited file. Attacker can abuse this to scan internal networks and gain information about them then exploit further. GeoServer 2.25.0 and greater default to the use of ENTITY_RESOLUTION_ALLOWLIST and does not require you to provide a system property.
Apache XmlGraphics Commons 2.4 and earlier is vulnerable to server-side request forgery, caused by improper input validation by the XMPParser. By using a specially-crafted argument, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the underlying server to make arbitrary GET requests. Users should upgrade to 2.6 or later.
httparty is an API tool. In versions 0.23.2 and prior, httparty is vulnerable to SSRF. This issue can pose a risk of leaking API keys, and it can also allow third parties to issue requests to internal servers. This issue has been patched via commit 0529bcd.
Versions of the package github.com/gotenberg/gotenberg/v8/pkg/gotenberg before 8.1.0; versions of the package github.com/gotenberg/gotenberg/v8/pkg/modules/chromium before 8.1.0; versions of the package github.com/gotenberg/gotenberg/v8/pkg/modules/webhook before 8.1.0 are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the /convert/html endpoint when a request is made to a file via localhost, such as <iframe src="\\localhost/etc/passwd">. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can achieve local file inclusion, allowing of sensitive files read on the host system. Workaround An alternative is using either or both --chromium-deny-list and --chromium-allow-list flags.
The /plugins/servlet/gadgets/makeRequest resource in Jira before version 8.4.0 allows remote attackers to access the content of internal network resources via a Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability due to a logic bug in the JiraWhitelist class.
The nelio-ab-testing plugin before 4.5.11 for WordPress has SSRF in ajax/iesupport.php.
LuquidPixels LiquiFire OS 4.8.0 allows SSRF via the call%3Durl substring followed by a URL in square brackets.
IBM Spectrum Copy Data Management 2.2.0.0 through 2.2.14.3 is vulnerable to server-side request forgery, caused by improper input of application server registration function. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the host address and port fields of the application server registration form in the portal UI to enumerate and attack services that are running on those hosts. IBM X-Force ID: 214441.
An SSRF issue was discovered in Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager build 15200.
SSRF (Server Side Request Forgery) in /assets/lib/fuc.js.php in Cockpit 0.4.4 through 0.5.5 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files or send TCP traffic to intranet hosts via the url parameter. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-14611, which was about version 0.13.0, which (surprisingly) is an earlier version than 0.4.4.
Server side request forgery exists in the runtime application in K2 smartforms 4.6.11 via a modified hostname in an https://*/Identity/STS/Forms/Scripts URL.
9Router is an AI router & token saver. Prior to 0.5.2, 9router determines whether a /v1 LLM proxy request is local by reading the client-controlled Host header, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to send Host: localhost and bypass API-key authentication. In the default configuration, this exposes the /v1 proxy to upstream provider calls using stored provider credentials and allows /v1/search with the searxng provider_options.baseUrl parameter to drive server-side requests to internal or cloud-metadata hosts. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.2.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23, an issue in the @angular/platform-server package allows remote attackers to bypass host allowlist constraints and direct server-side outgoing requests to arbitrary external endpoints. This occurs due to a parser differential between the strict WHATWG URL parser used for allowlist validation and the lenient Domino URL parser used to initialize the server emulated DOM. When a server-side request contains a malformed URL with a double port structure (e.g., http://evil.com:80:80/path), Node's strict URL.canParse(url) logic returns false and skips host check validation entirely. However, the same malformed URL is later accepted and parsed leniently by Domino's internal parser, which resolves the origin to http://evil.com:80. The Angular SSR HTTP request interceptor (relativeUrlsTransformerInterceptorFn) then resolves all relative backend HTTP requests against this adopted origin, executing the SSRF attack. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an unauthenticated attacker to send crafted requests to internal services by exploiting insufficient input validation in an upload endpoint. By injecting path traversal content into request parameters, an attacker could bypass the intended request flow and redirect internal API calls, potentially accessing internal services and exposing sensitive credentials. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.17.17, 3.18.11, 3.19.8, 3.20.4, and 3.21.2. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
ssrfcheck is a library that checks if a string contains a potential SSRF attack. In 1.3.0 and earlier, ssrfcheck fails to block Server-Side Request Forgery attacks when the target private IP address is encoded as an IPv4-mapped IPv6 address (e.g. http://[::ffff:127.0.0.1]/). The WHATWG URL parser built into Node.js silently normalizes the IPv4 notation inside the brackets to compressed hex form ([::ffff:7f00:1]) before the library's private-IP regex ever runs. The regex was written to match dot-notation only and therefore never matches any real input — all seven IANA private IPv4 ranges, including the AWS/GCP/Azure metadata address 169.254.169.254, are bypassed. Any application using isSSRFSafeURL() to guard HTTP requests made with user-supplied URLs is fully exposed to SSRF.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.12 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in QQBot reply media URL handling that allows attackers to fetch arbitrary content. Attackers can exploit this by providing malicious media URLs that trigger SSRF requests, with fetched bytes subsequently re-uploaded through the channel.
Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. Prior to 8.32.0, the LibreOffice conversion endpoint (/forms/libreoffice/convert) passes uploaded documents directly to LibreOffice without inspecting their content. LibreOffice then fetches any embedded external URLs on its own, completely bypassing the SSRF filters. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.32.0.
Open-WebSearch is a multi-engine MCP server, CLI, and local daemon for agent web search and content retrieval. Prior to 2.1.7, isPublicHttpUrl / assertPublicHttpUrl in src/utils/urlSafety.ts do not recognize bracketed IPv6 literals and do not resolve DNS, which combine to allow non-blind SSRF with the response body returned to the caller. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.7.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in `plugin/Live/test.php` allows any remote user to make the AVideo server send HTTP requests to arbitrary URLs. This can be used to probe localhost/internal services and, when reachable, access internal HTTP resources or cloud metadata endpoints. Commit 1e6cf03e93b5a5318204b010ea28440b0d9a5ab3 contains a patch.
The fetch API in Tightrope Media Carousel before 7.1.3 has CarouselAPI/v0/fetch?url= SSRF. This has two potential areas for abuse. First, a specially crafted URL could be used in a phishing attack to hijack the trust the user and the browser have with the website and could serve malicious content from a third-party attacker-controlled system. Second, arguably more severe, is the potential for an attacker to circumvent firewall controls, by proxying traffic, unauthenticated, into the internal network from the internet.
Lack of validation in the HTML parser in RealObjects PDFreactor before 10.1.10722 leads to SSRF, allowing attackers to access network or file resources on behalf of the server by supplying malicious HTML content.
An issue was discovered in GitLab Community and Enterprise Edition before 11.x before 11.4.13, 11.5.x before 11.5.6, and 11.6.x before 11.6.1. It allows SSRF.

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.9.6 contains a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The legacy RSSReaderComponent in rss.py and SearXNG component in searxng.py make unvalidated HTTP requests to user-controlled URLs, bypassing SSRF protections introduced in version 1.9.3. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to access internal resources including cloud metadata services (AWS/Azure/GCP IMDS), potentially exfiltrating IAM credentials and enumerating internal networks. The vulnerability can also be triggered through prompt injection in agentic workflows due to tool_mode=True exposure.
All versions of the package private-ip are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) where an attacker can provide an IP or hostname that resolves to a multicast IP address (224.0.0.0/4) which is not included as part of the private IP ranges in the package's source code.
Versions of the package ssrfcheck before 1.2.0 are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) due to an incomplete denylist of IP address ranges. Specifically, the package fails to classify the reserved IP address space 224.0.0.0/4 (Multicast) as invalid. This oversight allows attackers to craft requests targeting these multicast addresses.
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. Prior to versions 14.2.32 and 15.4.7, when next() was used without explicitly passing the request object, it could lead to SSRF in self-hosted applications that incorrectly forwarded user-supplied headers. This vulnerability has been fixed in Next.js versions 14.2.32 and 15.4.7. All users implementing custom middleware logic in self-hosted environments are strongly encouraged to upgrade and verify correct usage of the next() function.
A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the getFileBinary function of nbnbk cms 3 allows attackers to force the application to make arbitrary requests via injection of arbitrary URLs into the URL parameter.
Kity Minder v1.3.5 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the init function at ImageCapture.class.php.
Django-Select2 is a Django integration for Select2. Prior to version 8.4.1, instances of HeavySelect2Mixin subclasses like the ModelSelect2MultipleWidget and ModelSelect2Widget can leak secret access tokens across requests. This can allow users to access restricted query sets and restricted data. This issue has been patched in version 8.4.1.
MonstaFTP v2.10.3 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the function performFetchRequest at HTTPFetcher.php.
JetBrains Hub before 2021.1.14276 was vulnerable to blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF).
Jizhicms v2.2.5 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability via the Update function in app/admin/c/TemplateController.php.
The OIDC OP plugin before 3.0.4 for Shibboleth Identity Provider allows server-side request forgery (SSRF) due to insufficient restriction of the request_uri parameter. This allows attackers to interact with arbitrary third-party HTTP services.
A vulnerability in Trend Micro Control Manager (versions 6.0 and 7.0) could allow an attacker to conduct a server-side request forgery (SSRF) attack on vulnerable installations.
I, Librarian version 4.8 and earlier contains a SSRF vulnerability in "url" parameter of getFromWeb in functions.php that can result in the attacker abusing functionality on the server to read or update internal resources.
An issue was discovered on Accellion FTA devices before FTA_9_12_180. Because a regular expression (intended to match local https URLs) lacks an initial ^ character, courier/web/1000@/wmProgressval.html allows SSRF attacks with a file:///etc/passwd#https:// URL pattern.
Jspxcms v10.2.0 allows attackers to execute a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via /cmscp/ext/collect/fetch_url.do?url=.
Smokescreen is an HTTP proxy. The primary use case for Smokescreen is to prevent server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks in which external attackers leverage the behavior of applications to connect to or scan internal infrastructure. Smokescreen also offers an option to deny access to additional (e.g., external) URLs by way of a deny list. There was an issue in Smokescreen that made it possible to bypass the deny list feature by surrounding the hostname with square brackets (e.g. `[example.com]`). This only impacted the HTTP proxy functionality of Smokescreen. HTTPS requests were not impacted. Smokescreen version 0.0.4 contains a patch for this issue.
An issue was discovered in SeaCMS 6.61. adm1n/admin_reslib.php has SSRF via the url parameter.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in GitHub repository rudloff/alltube prior to 3.0.2.
URL Restriction Bypass in GitHub repository plantuml/plantuml prior to V1.2022.5. An attacker can abuse this to bypass URL restrictions that are imposed by the different security profiles and achieve server side request forgery (SSRF). This allows accessing restricted internal resources/servers or sending requests to third party servers.
An SSRF issue was discovered in Asterisk through 19.x. When using STIR/SHAKEN, it's possible to send arbitrary requests (such as GET) to interfaces such as localhost by using the Identity header. This is fixed in 16.25.2, 18.11.2, and 19.3.2.
A vulnerability was discovered in GitLab starting with version 12. GitLab was vulnerable to a blind SSRF attack since requests to shared address space were not blocked.
The FormCraft WordPress plugin before 3.8.28 does not validate the URL parameter in the formcraft3_get AJAX action, leading to SSRF issues exploitable by unauthenticated users
External server-side request vulnerability in MESbook 20221021.03 version, which could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to exploit the endpoint "/api/Proxy/Post?userName=&password=&uri=<FILE|INTERNAL URL|IP/HOST" or "/api/Proxy/Get?userName=&password=&uri=<ARCHIVO|URL INTERNA|IP/HOST" to read the source code of web files, read internal files or access network resources.
Versions of the package nossrf before 1.0.4 are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) where an attacker can provide a hostname that resolves to a local or reserved IP address space and bypass the SSRF protection mechanism.
Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools component of Oracle PeopleSoft Products (subcomponent: MultiChannel Framework). Supported versions that are affected are 8.54 and 8.55. Easily "exploitable" vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 6.5 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N).
