Apache Allura: sensitive information exposure via DNS rebinding

Import functionality is vulnerable to DNS rebinding attacks between verification and processing of the URL.  Project administrators can run these imports, which could cause Allura to read from internal services and expose them. This issue affects Apache Allura from 1.0.1 through 1.16.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.17.0, which fixes the issue. If you are unable to upgrade, set "disable_entry_points.allura.importers = forge-tracker, forge-discussion" in your .ini config file.

MobSF SSRF Vulnerability on assetlinks_check(act_name, well_knowns)

Mobile Security Framework (MobSF) is a pen-testing, malware analysis and security assessment framework capable of performing static and dynamic analysis. In version 3.9.5 Beta and prior, MobSF does not perform any input validation when extracting the hostnames in `android:host`, so requests can also be sent to local hostnames. This can lead to server-side request forgery. An attacker can cause the server to make a connection to internal-only services within the organization's infrastructure. Commit 5a8eeee73c5f504a6c3abdf2a139a13804efdb77 has a hotfix for this issue.

Applio allows SSRF and file write in model_download.py

Applio is a voice conversion tool. Versions 3.2.7 and prior are vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF) in `model_download.py` (line 195 in 3.2.7). The blind SSRF allows for sending requests on behalf of Applio server and can be leveraged to probe for other vulnerabilities on the server itself or on other back-end systems on the internal network, that the Applio server can reach. The blind SSRF can also be coupled with a arbitrary file read (e.g., CVE-2025-27784) to read files from hosts on the internal network, that the Applio server can reach, which would make it a full SSRF. As of time of publication, no known patches are available.

phpseclib: X.509 certificate validation sends attacker-controlled outbound requests (server-side request forgery) via Authority Information Access

phpseclib is a PHP secure communications library. From 0.1.1 until 1.0.30, 2.0.55, and 3.0.54, when an application validates an untrusted X.509 certificate with phpseclib, X509::validateSignature() reads a URL out of that certificate's Authority Information Access (AIA) extension and connects to it. Attacker who supplies certificate fully controls host, port, and path of that connection. URL fetching is enabled by default, and no destination is blocked. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore make a validating server open connections to internal hosts and ports it should never reach, for example loopback 127.0.0.1, cloud metadata address 169.254.169.254, and internal-only services. This is a server-side request forgery (SSRF) caused by an insecure default. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.30, 2.0.55, and 3.0.54.

TrueLayer.Client SSRF when fetching payment or payment provider

TrueLayer.NET is the .Net client for TrueLayer. The vulnerability could potentially allow a malicious actor to gain control over the destination URL of the HttpClient used in the API classes. For applications using the SDK, requests to unexpected resources on local networks or to the internet could be made which could lead to information disclosure. The issue can be mitigated by having strict egress rules limiting the destinations to which requests can be made, and applying strict validation to any user input passed to the `truelayer-dotnet` library. Versions of TrueLayer.Client `v1.6.0` and later are not affected.

WeasyPrint Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) Protection Bypass via HTTP Redirect

WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to version 68.0, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) protection bypass exists in WeasyPrint's `default_url_fetcher`. The vulnerability allows attackers to access internal network resources (such as `localhost` services or cloud metadata endpoints) even when a developer has implemented a custom `url_fetcher` to block such access. This occurs because the underlying `urllib` library follows HTTP redirects automatically without re-validating the new destination against the developer's security policy. Version 68.0 contains a patch for the issue.

DNN CMS Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)

The AppCheck research team identified a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability within the DNN CMS platform, formerly known as DotNetNuke. SSRF vulnerabilities allow the attacker to exploit the target system to make network requests on their behalf, allowing a range of possible attacks. In the most common scenario, the attacker exploits SSRF vulnerabilities to attack systems behind the firewall and access sensitive information from Cloud Provider metadata services.

wrong reuse of SMB connection

libcurl might in some circumstances reuse the wrong connection for SMB(S) transfers. libcurl features a pool of recent connections so that subsequent requests can reuse an existing connection to avoid overhead. When reusing a connection a range of criteria must be met. Due to a logical error in the code, a network transfer operation that was requested by an application could wrongfully reuse an existing SMB connection to the same server that was using a different 'share' than the new subsequent transfer should. This could in unlucky situations lead to the download of the wrong file or the upload of a file to the wrong place. When this happens, the same credentials are used and the server name is the same.

Apache Camel Iggy: The inbound consumer maps externally-supplied Iggy message user-headers into the Exchange without a HeaderFilterStrategy, allowing injection of Camel control headers - enabling control over internal behaviour

Improper Input Validation, Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache Camel in Iggy component. The camel-iggy consumer mapped the user-headers of inbound Iggy messages into the Camel Exchange header map without applying any HeaderFilterStrategy (IggyFetchRecords copied the message user-headers straight into the Exchange). Because nothing blocked the Camel header namespace, an actor able to publish to the consumed Iggy stream/topic could set Camel-internal control headers - including CamelHttpUri (Exchange.HTTP_URI) - simply by supplying them as message user-headers. In a route where the Iggy consumer feeds a downstream HTTP producer, the injected CamelHttpUri redirects the server-side HTTP request to an attacker-chosen destination (server-side request forgery - for example to an internal service or a cloud metadata endpoint). In addition, the HTTP producer resolves Camel property placeholders on the resulting (attacker-controlled) URI, so placeholders embedded in the injected value - such as an environment-variable reference, an application property, or a vault reference - are resolved to their real values and sent to the attacker, disclosing environment variables, application properties and vault secrets. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.17.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.21.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.3. The fix adds a dedicated IggyHeaderFilterStrategy (and a headerFilterStrategy endpoint option) that filters the Camel header namespace case-insensitively on inbound mapping, so externally-supplied Camel* / camel* headers are no longer copied into the Exchange. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, strip the Camel control headers from the inbound message before they reach any downstream producer (for example removeHeaders('Camel*') and removeHeaders('camel*') at the start of the route), restrict who can publish to the consumed Iggy stream/topic, and avoid bridging an untrusted consumer directly into an HTTP producer whose target URI can be driven from message headers.

Mailpit: Incomplete SSRF protection in Link Check API via IPv6 transition mechanisms (follow-up to CVE-2026-27808)

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.2, the remediation shipped for CVE-2026-27808 is incomplete because the tools.IsInternalIP deny-list in internal/tools/net.go relies on Go's standard library classification helpers and does not block IPv6 transition mechanisms or prefixes such as NAT64, 6to4, IPv4-compatible IPv6, ISATAP, fec0::/10, and 2001:db8::/32. An attacker who can deliver email and invoke POST /api/v1/message/{ID}/link-check can coerce the Link Check API's safeDialContext path into dialing internal destinations and can use status-code and error feedback to map internal service reachability, including cloud metadata endpoints. Prior to 0.8.8, the Docker API server's SSRF protection (validate_webhook_url / validate_url_destination in deploy/docker/utils.py) used an explicit IPv4/IPv6 CIDR blocklist that missed several address families. An attacker could reach internal services and cloud metadata endpoints (e.g. 169.254.169.254) despite the filter by encoding an internal IPv4 address inside an IPv6 transition form, or by using the IPv6 unspecified address. Music Player Daemon < 0.24.11 SSRF via CurlInputPlugin

Music Player Daemon (MPD) before version 0.24.11 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in CurlInputPlugin where CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION is set without CURLOPT_REDIR_PROTOCOLS_STR, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass the http/https scheme restriction by causing a malicious HTTP server to redirect to non-HTTP protocols such as gopher, ftp, sftp, ldap, dict, rtmp, or rtsp. Attackers can trigger this vulnerability via MPD commands that initiate URL fetches, including add, readcomments, albumart, readpicture, or load, to interact with internal or restricted network services on systems running libcurl versions prior to 7.85.0.

An unauthenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Thumbnail via-uri endpoint of Halo CMS 2.21 allows a remote attacker to cause the server to issue HTTP requests to attacker-controlled URLs, including internal addresses. The endpoint performs a server-side GET to a user-supplied URI without adequate allow/blocklist validation and returns a 307 redirect that can disclose internal URLs in the Location header.

Hugo: security.http.urls allow-list bypass via HTTP redirects

Hugo is a static site generator. From 0.91.0 until 0.162.0, resources.GetRemote enforces security.http.urls on the URL it is called with, but it did not re-validate intermediate URLs on HTTP 3xx redirects. An allowed server (or an attacker controlling its DNS or response) could therefore redirect the request to a host that the policy was meant to forbid and Hugo would fetch from the redirected target. The same bypass also lifted any host-shape restriction the operator had put in place. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.162.0.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the remote_url parameter in the remote directory scan endpoint (POST /v1/{iac}/{iacVersion}/{cloud}/remote/dir/scan) when running in server mode. An unauthenticated remote attacker can supply an attacker-controlled HTTP URL as remote_url with remote_type set to "http". The URL is passed directly to hashicorp/go-getter (v1.7.5) without validation. Go-getter's HttpGetter supports the X-Terraform-Get response header, allowing the attacker's server to redirect the download to a file:// URL, enabling local file read. Additionally, HttpGetter has Netrc set to true, causing it to read ~/.netrc and send stored credentials to attacker-controlled hostnames. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via external URL resolution in uploaded IaC templates when running in server mode. When Terrascan parses uploaded ARM templates or CloudFormation templates, it resolves external URLs referenced within those templates via hashicorp/go-getter with all default detectors enabled, including FileDetector. An unauthenticated remote attacker can upload an ARM template containing a templateLink.uri or parametersLink.uri field, or a CloudFormation template containing an AWS::CloudFormation::Stack TemplateURL field, pointing to an attacker-controlled URL. Terrascan will fetch the attacker-controlled URL server-side. Unlike SSRF via the remote scan endpoint, file:// URLs are directly usable without requiring an X-Terraform-Get redirect, enabling local file read. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.
