An issue was discovered in OpenText Content Suite Platform 22.1 (16.2.19.1803). The endpoint notify.localizeEmailTemplate allows a low-privilege user to evaluate webreports.
An issue was discovered in OpenText Content Suite Platform 22.1 (16.2.19.1803). The request handler for ll.KeepAliveSession sets a valid AdminPwd cookie even when the Web Admin password was not entered. This allows access to endpoints, which require a valid AdminPwd cookie, without knowing the password.
A remote OScript execution issue was discovered in OpenText Content Suite Platform 22.1 (16.2.19.1803). Multiple endpoints allow the user to pass the parameter htmlFile, which is included in the HTML output rendering pipeline of a request. Because the Content Server evaluates and executes Oscript code in HTML files, it is possible for an attacker to execute Oscript code. The Oscript scripting language allows the attacker (for example) to manipulate files on the filesystem, create new network connections, or execute OS commands.

The Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection via the [bookingflextimeline] shortcode in versions up to, and including, 9.1. This could be exploited by subscriber-level users and above to call arbitrary PHP objects on a vulnerable site.
The Admin Columns plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection leading to Remote Code Execution in versions up to and including 7.0.18. This is due to the use of `unserialize()` without an `allowed_classes` restriction in the `IdsToCollection::get_ids_from_string()` function, which processes attacker-controlled post meta values without proper validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject a serialized PHP object into a post's custom meta field and trigger arbitrary code execution by exploiting a bundled POP gadget chain, resulting in remote code execution as the web server user.
A flaw was found where some utility classes in Drools core did not use proper safeguards when deserializing data. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to construct malicious serialized objects (usually called gadgets) and achieve code execution on the server.
The Meta Tag Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.2 via deserialization of untrusted input in the get_post_data function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor access or higher, to inject a PHP Object. No POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
An issue was discovered in OpenNMS Horizon before 26.0.1, and Meridian before 2018.1.19 and 2019 before 2019.1.7. The ActiveMQ channel configuration allowed for arbitrary deserialization of Java objects (aka ActiveMQ Minion payload deserialization), leading to remote code execution for any authenticated channel user regardless of its assigned permissions.
Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
In TYPO3 CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.16 and 10.0.0 through 10.4.1, it has been discovered that backend user settings (in $BE_USER->uc) are vulnerable to insecure deserialization. In combination with vulnerabilities of third party components, this can lead to remote code execution. A valid backend user account is needed to exploit this vulnerability. This has been fixed in 9.5.17 and 10.4.2.

If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
Use of unsafe yaml load. Allows instantiation of arbitrary objects. The flaw itself is caused by an unsafe parsing of YAML values which happens whenever an action message is processed to be sent, and allows for the creation of Python objects. Through this flaw in the ROS core package of actionlib, an attacker with local or remote access can make the ROS Master, execute arbitrary code in Python form. Consider yaml.safe_load() instead. Located first in actionlib/tools/library.py:132. See links for more info on the bug.
A bug in Apache Airflow's XCom PATCH endpoint `PATCH /api/v2/xcomEntries/{key}` allowed an authenticated UI/API user with XCom write permission on a Dag to set XCom entries under reserved key names (e.g. `return_value`) that the matching POST endpoint already validated against `FORBIDDEN_XCOM_KEYS`. The endpoint also accepted serialized payload shapes the triggerer's deserializer treats as code; combined, this allowed RCE on the triggerer when the affected task next deferred. Affects deployments where untrusted users have XCom write permission on Dags that defer to the triggerer. This is a fix-bypass of CVE-2026-33858: PR #64148 added the `FORBIDDEN_XCOM_KEYS` validator only on the POST/set path; the PATCH path was not covered. Users who already upgraded for CVE-2026-33858 should additionally upgrade to `apache-airflow` 3.2.2 or later to cover the PATCH-path bypass.

GFI Archiver Core Service Deserialization of Untrusted Data Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GFI Archiver. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the Core Service, which listens on TCP port 8017 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-24029.
DataEase is an open-source data visualization and analytics platform. Versions 2.10.20 and below ship the legacy velocity-1.7.jar, which pulls in commons-collections-3.2.1.jar containing the InvokerTransformer deserialization gadget chain. Quartz 2.3.2, also bundled in the application, deserializes job data BLOBs from the qrtz_job_details table using ObjectInputStream with no deserialization filter or class allowlist. An authenticated attacker who can write to the Quartz job table, such as through the previously described SQL injection in previewSql, can replace a scheduled job's JOB_DATA with a malicious CommonsCollections6 gadget chain payload. When the Quartz cron trigger fires, the payload is deserialized and executes arbitrary commands as root inside the container, achieving full remote code execution. This issue has been fixed in version 2.10.21.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache ShardingSphere-Agent, which allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by constructing a special YAML configuration file. The attacker needs to have permission to modify the ShardingSphere Agent YAML configuration file on the target machine, and the target machine can access the URL with the arbitrary code JAR. An attacker can use SnakeYAML to deserialize java.net.URLClassLoader and make it load a JAR from a specified URL, and then deserialize javax.script.ScriptEngineManager to load code using that ClassLoader. When the ShardingSphere JVM process starts and uses the ShardingSphere-Agent, the arbitrary code specified by the attacker will be executed during the deserialization of the YAML configuration file by the Agent. This issue affects ShardingSphere-Agent: through 5.3.2. This vulnerability is fixed in Apache ShardingSphere 5.4.0.
A deserialization vulnerability in Afterlogic Aurora Files v9.7.3 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via supplying a crafted .sabredav file.

The User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data in versions up to, and including, 4.3.1 This is due to insufficient input validation and type checking on the wpuf_files parameter during form submission, combined with unconditional deserialization via maybe_unserialize() when displaying post content. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary PHP objects, which can be leveraged to execute arbitrary code, delete arbitrary files, or perform other malicious actions if a POP chain is present on the target system.
An issue was discovered in CMS Made Simple 2.2.8. In the module FilePicker, it is possible to reach an unserialize call with an untrusted parameter, and achieve authenticated object injection.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Storm. Versions Affected: before 2.8.6. Description: When processing topology credentials submitted via the Nimbus Thrift API, Storm deserializes the base64-encoded TGT blob using ObjectInputStream.readObject() without any class filtering or validation. An authenticated user with topology submission rights could supply a crafted serialized object in the "TGT" credential field, leading to remote code execution in both the Nimbus and Worker JVMs. Mitigation: 2.x users should upgrade to 2.8.6. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should monkey-patch an ObjectInputFilter allow-list to ClientAuthUtils.deserializeKerberosTicket() restricting deserialized classes to javax.security.auth.kerberos.KerberosTicket and its known dependencies. A guide on how to do this is available in the release notes of 2.8.6. Credit: This issue was discovered by K.
