Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in BuddyBoss 2.2.9 version , which could allow a local attacker with basic privileges to execute a malicious payload through the "[name]=image.jpg" parameter, allowing to assign a persistent javascript payload that would be triggered when the associated image is loaded.
FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified within the Signature Input Field of the FreeScout Application prior to version 1.8.128. Stored XSS occurs when user input is not properly sanitized and is stored on the server, allowing an attacker to inject malicious scripts that will be executed when other users access the affected page. In this case, the Support Agent User can inject malicious scripts into their signature, which will then be executed when viewed by the Administrator. The application protects users against XSS attacks by enforcing a CSP policy, the CSP Policy is: `script-src 'self' 'nonce-abcd' `. The CSP policy only allows the inclusion of JS files that are present on the application server and doesn't allow any inline script or script other than nonce-abcd. The CSP policy was bypassed by uploading a JS file to the server by a POST request to /conversation/upload endpoint. After this, a working XSS payload was crafted by including the uploaded JS file link as the src of the script. This bypassed the CSP policy and XSS attacks became possible. The impact of this vulnerability is severe as it allows an attacker to compromise the FreeScout Application. By exploiting this vulnerability, the attacker can perform various malicious actions such as forcing the Administrator to execute actions without their knowledge or consent. For instance, the attacker can force the Administrator to add a new administrator controlled by the attacker, thereby giving the attacker full control over the application. Alternatively, the attacker can elevate the privileges of a low-privileged user to Administrator, further compromising the security of the application. Attackers can steal sensitive information such as login credentials, session tokens, personal identifiable information (PII), and financial data. The vulnerability can also lead to defacement of the Application. Version 1.8.128 contains a patch for this issue.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Prior to version 14.6-rc-1, HTML rendering didn't check for dangerous attributes/attribute values. This allowed cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via attributes and link URLs, e.g., supported in XWiki syntax. This has been patched in XWiki 14.6-rc-1. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a fixed version.
Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in the edit user form in Microworld Technologies eScan management console 14.0.1400.2281 allows remote attacker to inject arbitrary code via the from parameter.
jellyfin-web is the web client for Jellyfin, a free-software media system. Starting in version 10.1.0 and prior to version 10.8.10, a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in device.js can be used to make arbitrary calls to the `REST` endpoints with admin privileges. When combined with CVE-2023-30626, this results in remote code execution on the Jellyfin instance in the context of the user who's running it. This issue is patched in version 10.8.10. There are no known workarounds.
Cross-site Scripting (XSS) - Stored in GitHub repository nilsteampassnet/teampass prior to 3.0.9.

Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in textMessage field in /src/chatbotapp/chatWindow.java in wliang6 ChatEngine commit fded8e710ad59f816867ad47d7fc4862f6502f3e, allows attackers to execute arbitrary code.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In AVideo prior to version 12.4, a normal user can make a Meeting Schedule where the user can invite another user in that Meeting, but it does not properly sanitize the malicious characters when creating a Meeting Room. This allows attacker to insert malicious scripts. Since any USER including the ADMIN can see the meeting room that was created by the attacker this can lead to cookie hijacking and takeover of any accounts. Version 12.4 contains a patch for this issue.
XWiki Commons are technical libraries common to several other top level XWiki projects. The Livetable Macro wasn't properly sanitizing column names, thus allowing the insertion of raw HTML code including JavaScript. This vulnerability was also exploitable via the Documents Macro that is included since XWiki 3.5M1 and doesn't require script rights, this can be demonstrated with the syntax `{{documents id="example" count="5" actions="false" columns="doc.title, before<script>alert(1)</script>after"/}}`. Therefore, this can also be exploited by users without script right and in comments. With the interaction of a user with more rights, this could be used to execute arbitrary actions in the wiki, including privilege escalation, remote code execution, information disclosure, modifying or deleting content. This has been patched in XWiki 14.9, 14.4.6, and 13.10.10.
XWiki Commons are technical libraries common to several other top level XWiki projects. The RSS macro that is bundled in XWiki included the content of the feed items without any cleaning in the HTML output when the parameter `content` was set to `true`. This allowed arbitrary HTML and in particular also JavaScript injection and thus cross-site scripting (XSS) by specifying an RSS feed with malicious content. With the interaction of a user with programming rights, this could be used to execute arbitrary actions in the wiki, including privilege escalation, remote code execution, information disclosure, modifying or deleting content and sabotaging the wiki. The issue has been patched in XWiki 14.6 RC1, the content of the feed is now properly cleaned before being displayed. As a workaround, if the RSS macro isn't used in the wiki, the macro can be uninstalled by deleting `WEB-INF/lib/xwiki-platform-rendering-macro-rss-XX.jar`, where `XX` is XWiki's version, in the web application's directory.
An improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability [CWE-79] in FortiProxy 7.2.0 through 7.2.4, 7.0.0 through 7.0.10 and FortiOS 7.2.0 through 7.2.4, 7.0.0 through 7.0.11, 6.4.0 through 6.4.12, 6.2.0 through 6.2.14 GUI may allow an authenticated attacker to trigger malicious JavaScript code execution via crafted guest management setting.
XWiki Commons are technical libraries common to several other top level XWiki projects. The "restricted" mode of the HTML cleaner in XWiki, introduced in version 4.2-milestone-1 and massively improved in version 14.6-rc-1, allowed the injection of arbitrary HTML code and thus cross-site scripting via invalid HTML comments. As a consequence, any code relying on this "restricted" mode for security is vulnerable to JavaScript injection ("cross-site scripting"/XSS). When a privileged user with programming rights visits such a comment in XWiki, the malicious JavaScript code is executed in the context of the user session. This allows server-side code execution with programming rights, impacting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the XWiki instance. This problem has been patched in XWiki 14.10, HTML comments are now removed in restricted mode and a check has been introduced that ensures that comments don't start with `>`. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a version including the fix.
XWiki Commons are technical libraries common to several other top level XWiki projects. There was no check in the author of a JavaScript xobject or StyleSheet xobject added in a XWiki document, so until now it was possible for a user having only Edit Right to create such object and to craft a script allowing to perform some operations when executing by a user with appropriate rights. This has been patched in XWiki 14.9-rc-1 by only executing the script if the author of it has Script rights.
XWiki Commons are technical libraries common to several other top level XWiki projects. The "restricted" mode of the HTML cleaner in XWiki, introduced in version 4.2-milestone-1, only escaped `<script>` and `<style>`-tags but neither attributes that can be used to inject scripts nor other dangerous HTML tags like `<iframe>`. This problem has been patched in XWiki 14.6 RC1 with the introduction of a filter with allowed HTML elements and attributes that is enabled in restricted mode. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a version including the fix.
RustFS Console is a web management console for the RustFS distributed file system. From 0.1.7 until 0.1.10, the RustFS Console components/object/preview-modal.tsx and components/object/pdf-viewer.tsx extension-based PDF preview path can render HTML content uploaded as .pdf, allowing stored cross-site scripting in the management console and exposure of administrator AccessKeyId, SecretAccessKey, and SessionToken values. This is caused by a regression of CVE-2026-27822. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.10.

An improper neutralization of inputs during web page generation vulnerability [CWE-79] in FortiNAC version 9.4.0 through 9.4.4, 9.2.0 through 9.2.8, 9.1.0 through 9.1.10, 8.8.0 through 8.8.11, 8.7.0 through 8.7.6, 7.2.0 through 7.2.3 may allow a remote authenticated attacker to perform stored and reflected cross site scripting (XSS) attack via crafted HTTP requests.
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. Prior to 0.10.0, Open WebUI runs client-side Python with Pyodide in a same-origin web worker, allowing stored chat payloads that use pyodide.http.pyfetch or the js module fetch and XMLHttpRequest APIs to issue authenticated same-origin requests when a victim clicks Run, which can reach admin-only endpoints and execute server-side code through configured tools. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0.

Jenkins GitBucket Plugin 0.8 and earlier does not sanitize Gitbucket URLs on build views, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to configure jobs.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. Due to the improper URL protocols filtering of links specified in the `link.argocd.argoproj.io` annotations in the application summary component, an attacker can achieve cross-site scripting with elevated permissions. All unpatched versions of Argo CD starting with v1.0.0 are vulnerable to a cross-site scripting (XSS) bug allowing a malicious user to inject a javascript: link in the UI. When clicked by a victim user, the script will execute with the victim's permissions (up to and including admin). This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim via the API, such as creating, modifying, and deleting Kubernetes resources. A patch for this vulnerability has been released in Argo CD versions v2.10.3 v2.9.8, and v2.8.12. There are no completely-safe workarounds besides upgrading. The safest alternative, if upgrading is not possible, would be to create a Kubernetes admission controller to reject any resources with an annotation starting with link.argocd.argoproj.io or reject the resource if the value use an improper URL protocol. This validation will need to be applied in all clusters managed by ArgoCD.
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, it does not escape the untrusted fields (name, version, author, description) when they are serialized into the data-obj HTML attribute of each marketplace card. Because the attribute is single-quoted and the value is produced with JSON.stringify() (which does not escape ', <, or >), a package whose name contains a single quote breaks out of the attribute and injects arbitrary HTML. In the desktop client the main BrowserWindow runs with nodeIntegration: true, contextIsolation: false, so the injected markup escalates from DOM XSS to arbitrary OS command execution. This is the same root cause and same impact as the original advisory, reached through a sibling sink the patch did not cover. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
SiYuan version 3.0.3 allows executing arbitrary commands on the server. This is possible because the application is vulnerable to Server Side XSS.
