WordPress File Upload / WordPress File Upload Pro <= 4.19.1 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting

The WordPress File Upload and WordPress File Upload Pro plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in versions up to, and including, 4.19.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Schedule Post Changes With PublishPress Future: Unpublish, Delete, Change Status, Trash, Change Categories <= 4.10.0 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'wrapper' Shortcode Attribute

The Schedule Post Changes With PublishPress Future plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wrapper' attribute of the [futureaction] shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.10.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization on the wrapper attribute. The plugin uses esc_html() to escape the value, but esc_html() only encodes HTML entities and does not prevent attribute injection when the value is used as an HTML tag name in a sprintf() call. An attacker can inject event handler attributes via spaces in the wrapper value. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Since it is also possible for administrators to make this functionality available to lower-privileged users, this introduces the possibility of abuse by contributors.

Sentence To SEO (keywords, description and tags) <= 1.0 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'Permanent keywords' Field

The Sentence To SEO (keywords, description and tags) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Permanent keywords' field in all versions up to and including 1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin reads user input via filter_input_array(INPUT_POST) which applies no HTML sanitization (FILTER_DEFAULT), stores it unsanitized to the WordPress options table via update_option(), and then outputs the stored value directly into a textarea element without any escaping using PHP short echo tags (<?= ?>). An attacker can break out of the textarea element using a closing </textarea> tag and inject arbitrary HTML/JavaScript. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the plugin's settings page.

CI4MS has Stored XSS via srcdoc attribute bypass in Google Maps iframe setting

CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to 0.31.4.0, the Google Maps iframe setting (cMap field) in compInfosPost() sanitizes input using strip_tags() with an <iframe> allowlist and regex-based removal of on\w+ event handlers. However, the srcdoc attribute is not an event handler and passes all filters. An attacker with admin settings access can inject an <iframe srcdoc="..."> payload with HTML-entity-encoded JavaScript that executes in the context of the parent page when rendered to unauthenticated frontend visitors. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.31.4.0.

OPEN-BRAIN <= 0.5.0 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'API Key' Setting

The OPEN-BRAIN plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'API Key' settings field in all versions up to, and including, 0.5.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin uses sanitize_text_field() which strips HTML tags but does not encode double quotes or other HTML-special characters needed for safe attribute context output. The API key value is saved via update_option() and later output into an HTML input element's value attribute without esc_attr() escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access, to inject arbitrary web scripts via attribute breakout payloads (e.g., double quotes followed by event handlers) that execute whenever a user accesses the plugin settings page.

The Keep Backup Daily plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the backup title alias (`val` parameter) in the `update_kbd_bkup_alias` AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. While `sanitize_text_field()` strips HTML tags on save, it does not encode double quotes. The backup titles are output in HTML attribute contexts without `esc_attr()`. The Multi Functional Flexi Lightbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `arv_lb[message]` parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This is due to insufficient input sanitization (no sanitize callback on register_setting) and missing output escaping (no esc_attr() on the echoed value in the input's value attribute). The option value is stored via update_option() and rendered unescaped in an HTML attribute context. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in the settings page that will execute whenever a user accesses that page. WP Job Portal <= 2.4.4 - Authenticated (Editor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Job Description Field

The WP Job Portal plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.4. This is due to the plugin explicitly whitelisting the `<script>` tag in its `WPJOBPORTAL_ALLOWED_TAGS` configuration and using insufficient input sanitization when saving job descriptions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts into job description fields via the job creation/editing interface. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, enabling session hijacking, credential theft, and other malicious activities.This only impacts multi-site installations, or those with unfiltered_html disabled.

Inquiry form to posts or pages <= 1.0 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Form Header Field

The Inquiry Form to Posts or Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Form Header' field in versions up to and including 1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization when saving via update_option() and lack of output escaping when displaying the stored value. The vulnerability exists in two locations: (1) the plugin settings page at inq_form.php line 180 where the value is echoed into an HTML attribute without esc_attr(), and (2) the front-end shortcode output at inquery_form_to_posts_or_pages.php line 139 where the value is output in HTML content without esc_html(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute whenever a user accesses the plugin settings page or views a page containing the [inquiry_form] shortcode.
