This affects versions of the package opencart/opencart from 4.0.0.0. A reflected XSS issue was identified in the redirect parameter of customer account/login route. An attacker can inject arbitrary HTML and Javascript into the page response. As this vulnerability is present in the account functionality it could be used to target and attack customers of the OpenCart shop. **Notes:** 1) The fix for this vulnerability is incomplete
This affects versions of the package opencart/opencart from 4.0.0.0 and before 4.1.0.0. A reflected XSS issue was identified in the directory parameter of admin common/filemanager.list route. An attacker could obtain a user's token by tricking the user to click on a maliciously crafted URL. The user is then prompted to login and redirected again upon authentication with the payload automatically executing. If the attacked user has admin privileges, this vulnerability could be used as the start of a chain of exploits like Zip Slip or arbitrary file write vulnerabilities in the admin functionality. **Notes:** 1) This is only exploitable if the attacker knows the name or path of the admin directory. The name of the directory is "admin" by default but there is a pop-up in the dashboard warning users to rename it. 2) The fix for this vulnerability is incomplete. The redirect is removed so that it is not possible for an attacker to control the redirect post admin login anymore, but it is still possible to exploit this issue in admin if the user is authenticated as an admin already.
OpenCart 3.0.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to conduct XSS attacks via a crafted filename in the users' image upload section.
OpenCart 3.x, when the attacker has login access to the admin panel, allows stored XSS within the Source/HTML editing feature of the Categories, Product, and Information pages.
OpenCart 3.0.3.6 is affected by cross-site scripting (XSS) in the Subject field of mail. This vulnerability can allow an attacker to inject the XSS payload in the Subject field of the mail and each time any user will open that mail of the website, the XSS triggers and the attacker can able to steal the cookie according to the crafted payload.
OpenCart 3.0.3.6 is affected by cross-site scripting (XSS) in the Profile Image. An admin can upload a profile image as a malicious code using JavaScript. Whenever anyone will see the profile picture, the code will execute and XSS will trigger.
OpenCart version 4.1.0.4 is vulnerable to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack via SVG file uploads used in blog posts. The vulnerability arises because SVG files uploaded through the media manager are not properly sanitized. Attackers can craft a malicious SVG file containing embedded JavaScript
OpenCart version 4.1.0.4 is vulnerable to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack via the blog editor. The vulnerability arises because input in the blog's editor is not properly sanitized or escaped before being rendered. This allows attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code
Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in OpenCart versions prior to 4.1.0. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute JavaScript code in the victim's browser by sending the victim a malicious URL using the search in the /product/search endpoint. This vulnerability could be exploited to steal sensitive user data, such as session cookies, or to perform actions on behalf of the user.
HTML injection vulnerabilities in OpenCart versions prior to 4.1.0. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to modify the HTML of the victim's browser by sending a malicious URL and modifying the parameter name in /account/voucher.
HTML injection vulnerabilities in OpenCart versions prior to 4.1.0. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to modify the HTML of the victim's browser by sending a malicious URL and modifying the parameter name in /account/login.
HTML injection vulnerabilities in OpenCart versions prior to 4.1.0. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to modify the HTML of the victim's browser by sending a malicious URL and modifying the parameter name in /account/register.
OpenCart 3.0.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to conduct XSS attacks via a crafted filename in the users' image upload section because of a lack of entity encoding. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2020-10596. The vendor states "this is not a massive issue as you are still required to be logged into the admin.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in OpenCart before 2.1.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the zone_id parameter to index.php.
GraphiQL is the reference implementation of this monorepo, GraphQL IDE, an official project under the GraphQL Foundation. All versions of graphiql older than graphiql@1.4.7 are vulnerable to compromised HTTP schema introspection responses or schema prop values with malicious GraphQL type names, exposing a dynamic XSS attack surface that can allow code injection on operation autocomplete. In order for the attack to take place, the user must load a vulnerable schema in graphiql. There are a number of ways that can occur. By default, the schema URL is not attacker-controllable in graphiql or in its suggested implementations or examples, leaving only very complex attack vectors. If a custom implementation of graphiql's fetcher allows the schema URL to be set dynamically, such as a URL query parameter like ?endpoint= in graphql-playground, or a database provided value, then this custom graphiql implementation is vulnerable to phishing attacks, and thus much more readily available, low or no privelege level xss attacks. The URLs could look like any generic looking graphql schema URL. It should be noted that desktop clients such as Altair, Insomnia, Postwoman, do not appear to be impacted by this. This vulnerability does not impact codemirror-graphql, monaco-graphql or other dependents, as it exists in onHasCompletion.ts in graphiql. It does impact all forks of graphiql, and every released version of graphiql.
Discourse is an open source discussion platform. There is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions 2.7.7 and earlier of the `stable` branch, versions 2.8.0.beta6 and earlier of the `beta` branch, and versions 2.8.0.beta6 and earlier of the `tests-passed` branch. Rendering of some error messages that contain user input can be susceptible to XSS attacks. This vulnerability only affects sites which have blocked watched words that contain HTML tags, modified or disabled Discourse's default Content Security Policy. This issue is patched in the latest `stable`, `beta` and `tests-passed` versions of Discourse. As a workaround, avoid modifying or disabling Discourse’s default Content Security Policy, and blocking watched words containing HTML tags.
GraphQL Playground is a GraphQL IDE for development of graphQL focused applications. All versions of graphql-playground-react older than graphql-playground-react@1.7.28 are vulnerable to compromised HTTP schema introspection responses or schema prop values with malicious GraphQL type names, exposing a dynamic XSS attack surface that can allow code injection on operation autocomplete. In order for the attack to take place, the user must load a malicious schema in graphql-playground. There are several ways this can occur, including by specifying the URL to a malicious schema in the endpoint query parameter. If a user clicks on a link to a GraphQL Playground installation that specifies a malicious server, arbitrary JavaScript can run in the user's browser, which can be used to exfiltrate user credentials or other harmful goals. If you are using graphql-playground-react directly in your client app, upgrade to version 1.7.28 or later.
serve-static serves static files. serve-static passes untrusted user input - even after sanitizing it - to redirect() may execute untrusted code. This issue is patched in serve-static 1.16.0.

Send is a library for streaming files from the file system as a http response. Send passes untrusted user input to SendStream.redirect() which executes untrusted code. This issue is patched in send 0.19.0.
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system released under the GNU GPL. In affected versions DOM processing instructions are not handled correctly. This allows bypassing the cross-site scripting mechanism of typo3/html-sanitizer. This vulnerability has been addressed in versions 1.5.3 and 2.1.4. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
This vulnerability occurred due to missing input sanitization for one of the output fields that is extracted from headers on specific section of page causing a reflective cross site scripting attack. An attacker would need to perform a Man in the Middle attack in order to change header for a remote victim.
Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) Webview2 Spoofing Vulnerability
A DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in an undisclosed page of the BIG-IP Configuration utility that allows an attacker to run JavaScript in the context of the currently logged-in user. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
Kirby CMS v4.1.0 was discovered to contain a reflected self-XSS vulnerability via the URL parameter.
The Translate WordPress with GTranslate WordPress plugin before 2.9.7 does not sanitise and escape the body parameter in the url_addon/gtranslate-email.php file before outputting it back in the page, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue. Note: exploitation of the issue requires knowledge of the NONCE_SALT and NONCE_KEY
SAP NWBC for HTML - versions SAP_UI 754, SAP_UI 755, SAP_UI 756, SAP_UI 757, SAP_UI 758, SAP_BASIS 700, SAP_BASIS 701, SAP_BASIS 702, SAP_BASIS 731, does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker can inject malicious javascript to cause limited impact to confidentiality and integrity of the application data after successful exploitation.
This affects the package file-upload-with-preview before 4.2.0. A file containing malicious JavaScript code in the name can be uploaded (a user needs to be tricked into uploading such a file).
The User Registration – Custom Registration Form, Login Form, and User Profile WordPress Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Display Name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability requires social engineering to successfully exploit, and the impact would be very limited due to the attacker requiring a user to login as the user with the injected payload for execution.
Insufficient input sanitization in markdown in GitLab version 13.11 and up allows an attacker to exploit a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability via a specially-crafted markdown
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Display Name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The AHAthat Plugin WordPress plugin through 1.6 does not escape the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] parameter before outputting it back in an attribute, which could lead to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in old web browsers
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC NMS (All versions < V2.0). The affected application improperly sanitizes certain SNMP configuration data retrieved from monitored devices. An attacker with access to a monitored device could prepare a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack that may lead to unintentional modification of application data by legitimate users.
SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal is vulnerable to reflected cross site scripting due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled input. An unauthenticated attacker could craft a malicious URL and trick a user to click it. If the victim clicks on this crafted URL before it times out, then the attacker could read and manipulate user content in the browser.
BI Launchpad and CMC in SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform, versions 4.1, 4.2, does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Exploit is possible only when the bttoken in victim’s session is active.
The Enable Media Replace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the SHORTPIXEL_DEBUG parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploiting this vulnerability requires the attacker to know the ID of an attachment uploaded by the user they are attacking.
The Traveloka application 3.14.0 for Android exports com.traveloka.android.activity.common.WebViewActivity, leading to the opening of arbitrary URLs, which can inject deceptive content into the UI. (When in physical possession of the device, opening local files is also possible.) NOTE: As of 2019-09-23, the vendor has not agreed that this issue has serious impact. The vendor states that the issue is not critical because it does not allow Elevation of Privilege, Sensitive Data Leakage, or any critical unauthorized activity from a malicious user. The vendor also states that a victim must first install a malicious APK to their application.
A vulnerability was found in Travelmate Travelable Trek Management Solution 1.0. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Comment Box Handler. The manipulation of the argument comment leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Discourse is an open source platform for community discussion. This vulnerability is not exploitable on the default install of Discourse. A custom feature must be enabled for it to work at all, and the attacker’s payload must pass the CSP to be executed. However, if an attacker succeeds in embedding Javascript that does pass the CSP, it could result in session hijacking for any users that view the attacker’s post. The vulnerability is patched in the latest tests-passed, beta and stable branches. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should enable and/or restore your site's CSP to the default one provided with Discourse. Remove any embed-able hosts configured.
CKEditor4 is an open source what-you-see-is-what-you-get HTML editor. A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been discovered affecting Iframe Dialog and Media Embed packages. The vulnerability may trigger a JavaScript code after fulfilling special conditions: using one of the affected packages on a web page with missing proper Content Security Policy configuration; initializing the editor on an element and using an element other than `<textarea>` as a base; and destroying the editor instance. This vulnerability might affect a small percentage of integrators that depend on dynamic editor initialization/destroy mechanism. A fix is available in CKEditor4 version 4.21.0. In some rare cases, a security fix may be considered a breaking change. Starting from version 4.21.0, the Iframe Dialog plugin applies the `sandbox` attribute by default, which restricts JavaScript code execution in the iframe element. To change this behavior, configure the `config.iframe_attributes` option. Also starting from version 4.21.0, the Media Embed plugin regenerates the entire content of the embed widget by default. To change this behavior, configure the `config.embed_keepOriginalContent` option. Those who choose to enable either of the more permissive options or who cannot upgrade to a patched version should properly configure Content Security Policy to avoid any potential security issues that may arise from embedding iframe elements on their web page.
