The elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) hardware accelerator, part of the ARM® TrustZone® CryptoCell 310, contained in the NordicSemiconductor nRF52840 through 2021-03-29 has a non-constant time ECDSA implemenation. This allows an adversary to recover the private ECC key used during an ECDSA operation.

The side-channel protected T-Table implementation in wolfSSL up to version 5.6.5 protects against a side-channel attacker with cache-line resolution. In a controlled environment such as Intel SGX, an attacker can gain a per instruction sub-cache-line resolution allowing them to break the cache-line-level protection. For details on the attack refer to: https://doi.org/10.46586/tches.v2024.i1.457-500

An information disclosure vulnerability exists on ARM implementations that use speculative execution in control flow via a side-channel analysis, aka "straight-line speculation." To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker with local privileges would need to run a specially crafted application. The security update addresses the vulnerability by bypassing the speculative execution.
A potential vulnerability in the AMD extension to Linux "hwmon" service may allow an attacker to use the Linux-based Running Average Power Limit (RAPL) interface to show various side channel attacks. In line with industry partners, AMD has updated the RAPL interface to require privileged access.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dma-buf: heaps: Fix potential spectre v1 gadget It appears like nr could be a Spectre v1 gadget as it's supplied by a user and used as an array index. Prevent the contents of kernel memory from being leaked to userspace via speculative execution by using array_index_nospec. [sumits: added fixes and cc: stable tags]

A flaw named "EntryBleed" was found in the Linux Kernel Page Table Isolation (KPTI). This issue could allow a local attacker to leak KASLR base via prefetch side-channels based on TLB timing for Intel systems.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2, macOS Ventura 13.7.2, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: icmp: change the order of rate limits ICMP messages are ratelimited : After the blamed commits, the two rate limiters are applied in this order: 1) host wide ratelimit (icmp_global_allow()) 2) Per destination ratelimit (inetpeer based) In order to avoid side-channels attacks, we need to apply the per destination check first. This patch makes the following change : 1) icmp_global_allow() checks if the host wide limit is reached. But credits are not yet consumed. This is deferred to 3) 2) The per destination limit is checked/updated. This might add a new node in inetpeer tree. 3) icmp_global_consume() consumes tokens if prior operations succeeded. This means that host wide ratelimit is still effective in keeping inetpeer tree small even under DDOS. As a bonus, I removed icmp_global.lock as the fast path can use a lock-free operation.

Hills ComNav version 3002-19 suffers from a weak communication channel. Traffic across the local network for the configuration pages can be viewed by a malicious actor. The size of certain communications packets are predictable. This would allow an attacker to learn the state of the system if they can observe the traffic. This would be possible even if the traffic were encrypted, e.g., using WPA2, as the packet sizes would remain observable. The communication encryption scheme is theoretically sound, but is not strong enough for the level of protection required.
