OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Users with the `Notes - my encounters` role can fill Eye Exam forms in patient encounters. The answers to the form are displayed on the encounter page and in the visit history for the users with the same role. Versions prior to 8.0.0.3 have a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the function to display the form answers, allowing any authenticated attacker with the specific role to insert arbitrary JavaScript into the system by entering malicious payloads to the form answers. The JavaScript code is later executed by any user with the form role when viewing the form answers in the patient encounter pages or visit history. Version 8.0.0.3 contains a patch.
Citizen is a MediaWiki skin that makes extensions part of the cohesive experience. The page `MediaWiki:Tagline` has its contents used unescaped, so custom HTML (including Javascript) can be injected by someone with the ability to edit the MediaWiki namespace (typically those with the `editinterface` permission, or sysops). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.16.0.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.0.0.2, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the patient portal payment flow allows a patient portal user to persist arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of a staff member who reviews the payment submission. The payload is stored via `portal/lib/paylib.php` and rendered without escaping in `portal/portal_payment.php`. Version 8.0.0.2 fixes the issue.
Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to versions 5.73.14 and 6.7.0, a stored XSS vulnerability in SVG asset reuploads allows authenticated users with asset upload permissions to bypass SVG sanitization and inject malicious JavaScript that executes when the asset is viewed. This has been fixed in 5.73.14 and 6.7.0.
Connect-CMS is a content management system. In versions 1.35.0 through 1.41.0 and 2.35.0 through 2.41.0, a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue exists in the Cabinet Plugin list view. Versions 1.41.1 and 2.41.1 contain a patch.
A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in OpenText ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager and ArcSight Platform. The vulnerability could be remotely exploited.
OnionShare is an open source tool that lets you securely and anonymously share files, host websites, and chat with friends using the Tor network. In affected versions The path parameter of the requested URL is not sanitized before being passed to the QT frontend. This path is used in all components for displaying the server access history. This leads to a rendered HTML4 Subset (QT RichText editor) in the Onionshare frontend.
Multiple Stored XSS vulnerabilities exist in Seafile Server version 13.0.15,13.0.16-pro,12.0.14 and prior and fixed in 13.0.17, 13.0.17-pro, and 12.0.20-pro, via the Seadoc (sdoc) editor. The application fails to properly sanitize WebSocket messages regarding document structure updates. This allows authenticated remote attackers to inject malicious JavaScript payloads via the src attribute of embedded Excalidraw whiteboards or the href attribute of anchor tags
Statmatic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to versions 5.73.11 and 6.4.0, stored XSS vulnerability in svg and icon related components allow authenticated users with appropriate permissions to inject malicious JavaScript that executes when viewed by higher-privileged users. This has been fixed in 5.73.11 and 6.4.0.
Gokapi is a self-hosted file sharing server with automatic expiration and encryption support. Prior to version 2.2.3, if a malicious authenticated user uploads SVG and creates a hotlink for it, they can achieve stored XSS. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.3.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab affecting all versions starting from 15.0 before 15.0.1. Missing validation of input used in quick actions allowed an attacker to exploit XSS by injecting HTML in contact details.
Gitea versions from 1.25.0 before 1.26.0 allow stored cross-site scripting through the extensionsRequired field in glTF files rendered by the 3D file viewer.
Typebot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.15.2 and prior, the RatingButton component in the embed package renders the user-controlled customIcon.svg field directly via Solid's innerHTML directive without any sanitization, even though DOMPurify is already a dependency and is used elsewhere in the codebase (e.g., StreamingBubble.tsx). Because rating blocks are not flagged as isUnsafe by the import sanitizer and the builder preview renders bots inline on the builder's own origin (builder.typebot.io) under a CSP permitting 'unsafe-inline', a malicious imported or collaborator-crafted typebot can execute arbitrary HTML/JS in the builder's authenticated context, bypassing the Web Worker sandbox that protects Script blocks during preview. This allows session hijacking and privilege escalation within the builder application. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.
Improper handling of user input in GitLab CE/EE versions 8.3 prior to 14.7.7, 14.8 prior to 14.8.5, and 14.9 prior to 14.9.2 allowed an attacker to exploit a stored XSS by abusing multi-word milestone references in issue descriptions, comments, etc.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 16.9 before 16.9.4, all versions starting from 16.10 before 16.10.2. A payload may lead to a Stored XSS while using the diff viewer, allowing attackers to perform arbitrary actions on behalf of victims.
Initiative is a self-hosted project management platform. Versions of the application prior to 0.32.4 are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the document upload functionality. Any user with upload permissions within the "Initiatives" section can upload a malicious `.html` or `.htm` file as a document. Because the uploaded HTML file is served under the application's origin without proper sandboxing, the embedded JavaScript executes in the context of the application. As a result, authentication tokens, session cookies, or other sensitive data can be exfiltrated to an attacker-controlled server. Additionally, since the uploaded file is hosted under the application's domain, simply sharing the direct file link may result in execution of the malicious script when accessed. Version 0.32.4 fixes the issue.
osctrl is an osquery management solution. Prior to version 0.5.0, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the `osctrl-admin` on-demand query list. A user with query-level permissions can inject arbitrary JavaScript via the query parameter when running an on-demand query. The payload is stored and executes in the browser of any user (including administrators) who visits the query list page. This can be chained with CSRF token extraction to escalate privileges and take actions as the logged in user. An attacker with query-level permissions (the lowest privilege tier) can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browsers of all users who view the query list. Depending on their level of access, it can lead to full platform compromise if an administrator executes the payload. The issue is fixed in osctrl `v0.5.0`. As a workaround, restrict query-level permissions to trusted users, monitor query list for suspicious payloads, and/or review osctrl user accounts for unauthorized administrators.
Versions of the Traccar open-source GPS tracking system starting with 6.11.1 contain an issue in which authenticated users can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of other users' browsers by uploading malicious SVG files as device images. The application accepts SVG file uploads without sanitization and serves them with the `image/svg+xml` Content-Type, allowing embedded JavaScript to execute when victims view the image. As of time of publication, it is unclear whether a fix is available.
Statmatic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). From 6.0.0 to before 6.2.3, a stored XSS vulnerability in content titles allows authenticated users with content creation permissions to inject malicious JavaScript that executes when viewed by higher-privileged users. Malicious user must have an account with control panel access and content creation permissions. This vulnerability can be exploited to allow super admin accounts to be created. This has been fixed in 6.2.3.
Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to version 0.14.2, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the comment and issue description functionality. The application's HTML sanitizer explicitly allows data: URI schemes, enabling authenticated users to inject arbitrary JavaScript execution via malicious links. This issue has been patched in version 0.14.2.
The Open eClass platform (formerly known as GUnet eClass) is a complete course management system. Prior to version 4.2, a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows authenticated students to inject malicious JavaScript into uploaded assignment files, which is executed when instructors view the submission. This issue has been patched in version 4.2.
Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. In versions below 0.30.5 and 0.31.0.rc1 through 0.31.0, a stored code execution vulnerability in the user name field allows a low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of any user who passively visits a comment page, resulting in high confidentiality and integrity impact across security boundaries. This issue has been fixed in versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1.
OpenProject is an open-source, web-based project management software. Versions 16.3.0 through 16.6.4 are affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Roadmap view. OpenProject’s roadmap view renders the “Related work packages” list for each version. When a version contains work packages from a different project (e.g., a subproject), the helper link_to_work_package prepends package.project.to_s to the link and returns the entire string with .html_safe. Because project names are user-controlled and no escaping happens before calling html_safe, any HTML placed in a subproject name is injected verbatim into the page. The underlying issue is mitigated in versions 16.6.5 and 17.0.0 by setting a `X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff` header, which was in place until a refactoring move to Rails standard content-security policy, which did not properly apply this header in the new configuration since OpenProject 16.3.0. Those who cannot upgrade their installations should ensure that they add a X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff header in their proxying web application server.
LaSuite Doc is a collaborative note taking, wiki and documentation platform. From 3.8.0 to 4.3.0, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Interlinking feature. When a user creates a link to another document within the editor, the URL of that link is not validated. An attacker with document editing privileges can inject a malicious javascript: URL that executes arbitrary code when other users click on the link. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.4.0.
A Reflected Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting ENOVIAvpm Web Access from ENOVIAvpm Version 1 Release 16 through ENOVIAvpm Version 1 Release 19 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in user's browser session.
Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.9-alpha3, 2.4.8-p3, 2.4.7-p8, 2.4.6-p13, 2.4.5-p15, 2.4.4-p16 and earlier are affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. A successful attacker can abuse this to achieve session takeover, increasing the confidentiality, and integrity impact to high. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
iTop is an IT service management platform. By filling malicious code in an object friendlyname / complementary name, an XSS attack can be performed when this object will displayed as an n:n relation item in another object. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.1 and 3.2.0.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 10.6 before 18.7.6, 18.8 before 18.8.6, and 18.9 before 18.9.2 that could have allowed an authenticated user, when the `markdown_placeholders` feature flag was enabled, to inject JavaScript in a browser due to improper sanitization of placeholder content in markdown processing.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 16.4 before 18.11.6, 19.0 before 19.0.3, and 19.1 before 19.1.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with developer-role permissions to execute arbitrary client-side code in the context of another user's session, due to improper sanitization of user-supplied input.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 17.1 before 18.10.8, 18.11 before 18.11.5, and 19.0 before 19.0.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with developer-role permissions to execute arbitrary client-side code on behalf of a targeted user due to improper input sanitization in the Analytics Dashboard.
In ConnectWise PSA versions older than 2026.1, Time Entry notes stored in the Time Entry Audit Trail may be rendered without applying output encoding to certain content. Under specific conditions, this may allow stored script code to execute in the context of a user’s browser when the affected content is displayed.
PEM versions prior to 9.8.1 are affected by a stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows users with access to the Manage Charts menu to inject arbitrary JavaScript when creating a new chart, which is then executed by any user accessing the chart. By default only the superuser and users with pem_admin or pem_super_admin privileges are able to access the Manage Charts menu.
Improper neutralization of user input in GitLab CE/EE versions 14.4 before 14.7.7, all versions starting from 14.8 before 14.8.5, all versions starting from 14.9 before 14.9.2 allowed an attacker to exploit XSS by injecting HTML in notes.
In BookStack before version 0.30.4, a user with permissions to edit a page could add an attached link which would execute untrusted JavaScript code when clicked by a viewer of the page. Dangerous content may remain in the database after this update. If you think this could have been exploited the linked advisory provides a SQL query to test. As a workaround, page edit permissions could be limited to only those that are trusted until you can upgrade although this will not address existing exploitation of this vulnerability. The issue is fixed in version 0.30.4.
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Artica PFMS Pandora FMS v765 on all allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). A user with edition privileges can create a Payload in the reporting dashboard module. An admin user can observe the Payload without interaction and attacker can get information.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.2.2 before 18.5.5, 18.6 before 18.6.3, and 18.7 before 18.7.1 that could have allowed an authenticated user to achieve stored cross-site scripting by exploiting GitLab Flavored Markdown.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 14.10 before 18.2.7, 18.3 before 18.3.3, and 18.4 before 18.4.1 that could allow an attacker to inject malicious content that may lead to account takeover.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.2 before 18.2.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed authenticated users to achieve stored cross-site scripting by injecting malicious HTML content in scoped label descriptions.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 14.2 before 18.0.6, 18.1 before 18.1.4 and 18.2 before 18.2.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed a successful attacker to execute actions on behalf of users by injecting malicious content.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to version 8.0.0, a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the GAD-7 anxiety assessment form allows authenticated users with clinician privileges to inject malicious JavaScript that executes when other users view the form. This enables session hijacking, account takeover, and privilege escalation from clinician to administrator. Version 8.0.0 fixes the issue.
PublicCMS v5.202506.d and earlier is vulnerable to stored XSS. Uploaded PDFs can contain JavaScript payloads and bypass PDF security checks in the backend CmsFileUtils.java. If a user uploads a PDF file containing a malicious payload to the system and views it, the embedded JavaScript payload can be triggered, resulting in issues such as credential theft, arbitrary API execution, and other security concerns. This vulnerability affects all file upload endpoint, including /cmsTemplate/save, /file/doUpload, /cmsTemplate/doUpload, /file/doBatchUpload, /cmsWebFile/doUpload, etc.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 17.11 before 17.11.6, 18.0 before 18.0.4, and 18.1 before 18.1.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed a successful attacker to execute actions on behalf of users by injecting malicious content.
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. In versions 0.6.34 and below, the functionality that inserts custom prompts into the chat window is vulnerable to DOM XSS when 'Insert Prompt as Rich Text' is enabled, since the prompt body is assigned to the DOM sink .innerHtml without sanitisation. Any user with permissions to create prompts can abuse this to plant a payload that could be triggered by other users if they run the corresponding / command to insert the prompt. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.35.
Cross-Site Scripting in phpgurukul Hostel Management System v2.1 user-provided complaint fields (Explain the Complaint) submitted via /register-complaint.php are stored and rendered unescaped in the admin viewer (/admin/complaint-details.php?cid=<id>). When an administrator opens the complaint, injected HTML/JavaScript executes in the admin's browser.
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') in Dynamics 365 Field Service (online) allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.

In JetBrains YouTrack before 2025.2.92387 stored XSS was possible via Mermaid diagram content
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.6.37, a Stored XSS vulnerability was discovered in Open-WebUI's Notes PDF download functionality. An attacker can import a Markdown file containing malicious SVG tags into Notes, allowing them to execute arbitrary JavaScript code and steal session tokens when a victim downloads the note as PDF. This vulnerability can be exploited by any authenticated user, and unauthenticated external attackers can steal session tokens from users (both admin and regular users) by sharing specially crafted markdown files. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.6.37.
A stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Opportunity Management in Project Portfolio Manager from Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2023x through Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2025x allows an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in user's browser session.
