HCL Traveler is affected by an internal path disclosure in a Windows application when the application inadvertently reveals internal file paths, in error messages, debug logs, or responses to user requests.
HCL Traveler generates some error messages that provide detailed information about errors and failures, such as internal paths, file names, sensitive tokens, credentials, error codes, or stack traces. Attackers could exploit this information to gain insights into the system's architecture and potentially launch targeted attacks.
HCL DevOps Deploy / HCL Launch could allow an authenticated user to obtain sensitive information about other users on the system due to missing authorization for a function.
The HCL BigFix Inventory server is vulnerable to path traversal which enables an attacker to read internal application files from the Inventory server. The BigFix Inventory server does not properly restrict the served static file.
User SID can be modified resulting in an Arbitrary File Upload or deletion of directories causing a Denial of Service. When interacting in a normal matter with the Sametime chat application, users hold a cookie containing their session ID (SID). This value is also used when sending chat messages, receiving notifications and/or transferring files.
HCL DRYiCE MyXalytics is impacted by path traversal arbitrary file read vulnerability because it uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory. The product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Potential exploits can completely disrupt or take over the application.
HCL DRYiCE MyXalytics is impacted by path traversal vulnerability which allows file upload capability. Certain endpoints permit users to manipulate the path (including the file name) where these files are stored on the server.
HCL Commerce Remote Store server could allow a remote attacker, using a specially-crafted URL, to read arbitrary files on the system.

An issue was discovered in Django 5.0 before 5.0.7 and 4.2 before 4.2.14. Derived classes of the django.core.files.storage.Storage base class, when they override generate_filename() without replicating the file-path validations from the parent class, potentially allow directory traversal via certain inputs during a save() call. (Built-in Storage sub-classes are unaffected.)

Contao is an open source content management system. Prior to versions 4.9.40, 4.13.21, and 5.1.4, logged in users can list arbitrary system files in the file manager by manipulating the Ajax request. However, it is not possible to read the contents of these files. Users should update to Contao 4.9.40, 4.13.21 or 5.1.4 to receive a patch. There are no known workarounds.
Fix of CVE-2021-40525 do not prepend delimiters upon valid directory validations. Affected implementations include: - maildir mailbox store - Sieve file repository This enables a user to access other users data stores (limited to user names being prefixed by the value of the username being used).

The WP Dark Mode WordPress plugin before 4.0.8 does not properly sanitize the style parameter in shortcodes before using it to load a PHP template. This leads to Local File Inclusion on servers where non-existent directories may be traversed, or when chained with another vulnerability allowing arbitrary directory creation.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in MuYuCMS 2.2. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument file_path leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-221735.
Rapid7 Velociraptor did not properly sanitize the client ID parameter to the CreateCollection API, allowing a directory traversal in where the collection task could be written. It was possible to provide a client id of "../clients/server" to schedule the collection for the server (as a server artifact), but only require privileges to schedule collections on the client. Normally, to schedule an artifact on the server, the COLLECT_SERVER permission is required. This permission is normally only granted to "administrator" role. Due to this issue, it is sufficient to have the COLLECT_CLIENT privilege, which is normally granted to the "investigator" role. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must already have a Velociraptor user account at least "investigator" level, and be able to authenticate to the GUI and issue an API call to the backend. Typically, most users deploy Velociraptor with limited access to a trusted group, and most users will already be administrators within the GUI. This issue affects Velociraptor versions before 0.6.7-5. Version 0.6.7-5, released January 16, 2023, fixes the issue.

Qaelum DOSE 18.08 through 21.1 before 21.2 allows Directory Traversal via the loadimages name parameter. It allows a user to specify an arbitrary location on the server's filesystem from which to load an image. (Only images are displayed to the attacker. All other files are loaded but not displayed.) The Content-Type response header reflects the actual content type of the file being requested. This allows an attacker to enumerate files on the local system. Additionally, remote resources can be requested via a UNC path, allowing an attacker to coerce authentication out from the server to the attackers machine.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in PbootCMS up to 5.2.3. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file apps/home/controller/IndexController.php. The manipulation of the argument tag leads to path traversal. opencms V2.3 is vulnerable to Arbitrary file read in src/main/webapp/view/admin/document/dataPage.jsp,
The Ultimate Member plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to directory traversal in versions up to, and including 2.5.0 due to insufficient input validation on the 'template' attribute used in shortcodes. This makes it possible for attackers with administrative privileges to supply arbitrary paths using traversal (../../) to access and include files outside of the intended directory. If an attacker can successfully upload a php file then remote code execution via inclusion may also be possible. Note: for users with less than administrative capabilities, /wp-admin access needs to be enabled for that user in order for this to be exploitable by those users.
