GLPI is a free asset and IT management software package. Starting in version 9.1.0 and prior to version 10.0.17, a technician with an access to the API can take control of an account with higher privileges. Version 10.0.17 contains a patch for this issue.
GLPI is a free asset and IT management software package. Starting in version 9.3.0 and prior to version 10.0.17, an authenticated user can use the API to take control of any user that have the same or a lower level of privileges. Version 10.0.17 contains a patch for this issue.
An improper access control vulnerability allows low-privileged users to execute code with Administrator privileges remotely.
A series of related high-severity vulnerabilities, the most notable enabling remote code execution (RCE) as the service account and extraction of sensitive information (savedcredentials and passwords). Exploiting these vulnerabilities requires a user who has been assigned a low-privileged role within Veeam Backup & Replication.
A mass assignment vulnerability exists in Pantera CRM versions 401.152 and 402.072. This flaw allows authenticated users to modify any user attribute, including roles, by injecting additional parameters via profile management functions.
SourceCodester Best House Rental Management System v1.0 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control via /rental/payment_report.php, /rental/balance_report.php, /rental/invoices.php, /rental/tenants.php, and /rental/users.php.
Microsoft SQL Server Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
authentik is an open-source Identity Provider that emphasizes flexibility and versatility. Authentik API-Access-Token mechanism can be exploited to gain admin user privileges. A successful exploit of the issue will result in a user gaining full admin access to the Authentik application, including resetting user passwords and more. This issue has been patched in version(s) 2024.2.4, 2024.4.2 and 2024.6.0.
An issue in the component ddcdrv.sys of Nicomsoft WinI2C/DDC v3.7.4.0 allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via sending crafted IOCTL requests.
An issue in sanluan PublicCMS v.4.0.202302.e allows an attacker to escalate privileges via the change password function.
Graylog is a free and open log management platform. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to versions 5.1.11 and 5.2.4, arbitrary classes can be loaded and instantiated using a HTTP PUT request to the `/api/system/cluster_config/` endpoint. Graylog's cluster config system uses fully qualified class names as config keys. To validate the existence of the requested class before using them, Graylog loads the class using the class loader. If a user with the appropriate permissions performs the request, arbitrary classes with 1-arg String constructors can be instantiated. This will execute arbitrary code that is run during class instantiation. In the specific use case of `java.io.File`, the behavior of the internal web-server stack will lead to information exposure by including the entire file content in the response to the REST request. Versions 5.1.11 and 5.2.4 contain a fix for this issue.
Azure CycleCloud Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
ZenML Server in the ZenML machine learning package before 0.46.7 for Python allows remote privilege escalation because the /api/v1/users/{user_name_or_id}/activate REST API endpoint allows access on the basis of a valid username along with a new password in the request body. These are also patched versions: 0.44.4, 0.43.1, and 0.42.2.
A flaw was found in the Hive ClusterDeployments resource in OpenShift Dedicated. In certain conditions, this issue may allow a developer account on a Hive-enabled cluster to obtain cluster-admin privileges by executing arbitrary commands on the hive/hive-controllers pod.
In Min before 1.31.0, local files are not correctly treated as unique security origins, which allows them to improperly request cross-origin resources. For example, a local file may request other local files through an XML document.
An issue was discovered in NiterForum version 2.5.0-beta in /src/main/java/cn/niter/forum/api/SsoApi.java and /src/main/java/cn/niter/forum/controller/AdminController.java, allows attackers to gain escalated privileges.
OpenObserve is a observability platform built specifically for logs, metrics, traces, analytics, designed to work at petabyte scale. A vulnerability has been identified in the "/api/{org_id}/users" endpoint. This vulnerability allows any authenticated regular user ('member') to add new users with elevated privileges, including the 'root' role, to an organization. This issue circumvents the intended security controls for role assignments. The vulnerability resides in the user creation process, where the payload does not validate the user roles. A regular user can manipulate the payload to assign root-level privileges. This vulnerability leads to Unauthorized Privilege Escalation and significantly compromises the application's role-based access control system. It allows unauthorized control over application resources and poses a risk to data security. All users, particularly those in administrative roles, are impacted. This issue has been addressed in release version 0.8.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
sf_event_mgt is an event management and registration extension for the TYPO3 CMS based on ExtBase and Fluid. In affected versions the existing access control check for events in the backend module got broken during the update of the extension to TYPO3 12.4, because the `RedirectResponse` from the `$this->redirect()` function was never handled. This issue has been addressed in version 7.4.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Open edX Platform is a service-oriented platform for authoring and delivering online learning. A user with a JWT and more limited scopes could call endpoints exceeding their access. This vulnerability has been patched in commit 019888f.
ZTE NH8091 product has an improper permission control vulnerability. Due to improper permission control of the Web module interface, an authenticated attacker may exploit the vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands.
Sikka SSCWindowsService 5 2023-09-14 executes a program as LocalSystem but allows full control by low-privileged users (and low-privileged users have write access to %PROGRAMDATA%\SSCService). Consequently, low-privileged users can execute arbitrary code as LocalSystem.
Incorrect access control in Customer Support System v1 allows non-administrator users to access administrative pages and execute actions reserved for administrators.
rejetto HFS (aka HTTP File Server) 3 before 0.52.10 on Linux, UNIX, and macOS allows OS command execution by remote authenticated users (if they have Upload permissions). This occurs because a shell is used to execute df (i.e., with execSync instead of spawnSync in child_process in Node.js).
Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk VantagePoint versions 8.0, 8.10, 8.20, 8.30, 8.31 are vulnerable to an improper access control vulnerability. The FactoryTalk VantagePoint SQL Server account could allow a malicious user with read-only privileges to execute SQL statements in the back-end database. If successfully exploited, this could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain access to restricted data.
An improper access control vulnerability in the Azure Managed Instance for Apache Cassandra allows an authenticated attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
Low-privileged users with access to the Sitefinity backend may obtain sensitive information from the site's administrative area.
Broken access control vulnerability in Geovision GV-ASWeb with version v6.1.0.0 or less. This vulnerability allows low privilege users perform actions that they aren't authorized to, which can be leveraged to escalate privileges, create, modify or delete accounts.
