The User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the `embed_form_action()` function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to append shortcode content to arbitrary pages they do not own or have permission to edit.
The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized email sending due to a missing capability check on the send_test_email() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.7. The User Registration & Membership – Free & Paid Memberships, Subscriptions, Content Restriction, User Profile, Custom User Registration & Login Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.5. This is due to missing ownership validation on a user-controlled attachment ID, allowing the plugin to store and subsequently delete arbitrary media attachments without verifying that the referenced attachment belongs to the requesting user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to permanently delete arbitrary media attachments uploaded by any other user, including administrators.

The User Registration & Membership – Custom Registration Form, Login Form, and User Profile plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.3 via the user_registration_membership_register_member() due to missing validation on the 'membership_id' user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update any user's membership to any other active or non-active membership type.
The Flexible Refund and Return Order for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.38 via the save_refund_request() function. EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to 9.3.5, a business logic flaw (Broken Access Control) in EspoCRM 9.3.3 allows low-privileged users to pin arbitrary notes without having the required edit permissions for the parent object. Due to a "write first, authorize later" execution flaw in the backend API, even though the server correctly returns a 403 Forbidden error, the targeted note's pinned status is already persistently modified in the database. The root cause lies in the server-side processing of the POST /api/v1/Note/{id}/pin endpoint. In application/Espo/Tools/Stream/Api/PostNotePin.php, the process() method first calls getNote($id) before calling checkParent($note). This vulnerability is fixed in 9.3.5.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.214, the Change Customer modal exposes a “Create a new customer” flow via POST /customers/ajax with action=create. Under limited visibility, the endpoint drops unique-email validation. If the supplied email already belongs to a hidden customer, Customer::create() reuses that hidden customer object and fills empty profile fields from attacker-controlled input. Version 1.8.214 fixes the vulnerability.
The employee management page of Flygo contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability. After being authenticated as a general user, remote attacker can manipulate the user data and then over-write another employee’s user data by specifying that employee’s ID in the API parameter.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level permissions and above, to overwrite arbitrary post titles.

A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in SimpleMachines SMF 2.1.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to reassign ownership of arbitrary posts and attachments by changing 'post_author'.
Craft is a content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.9.0-beta.1 and 4.17.0-beta.1, the "Duplicate" entry action does not properly verify if the user has permission to perform this action on the specific target elements. Even with only "View Entries" permission (where the "Duplicate" action is restricted in the UI), a user can bypass this restriction by sending a direct request. Furthermore, this vulnerability allows duplicating other users' entries by specifying their Entry IDs. Since Entry IDs are incremental, an attacker can trivially brute-force these IDs to duplicate and access restricted content across the system. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.9.0-beta.1 and 4.17.0-beta.1.
WeKan versions prior to 8.19 contain an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the card comment creation API. The endpoint accepts an authorId from the request body, allowing an authenticated user to spoof the recorded comment author by supplying another user's identifier.

OpenProject is an open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to 17.0.2, the drag&drop handler moving an agenda item to a different section was not properly checking if the target meeting section is part of the same meeting (or is the backlog, in case of recurring meetings). This allowed an attacker to move a meeting agenda item into a different meeting. The attacker did not get access to meetings, but they could add arbitrary agenda items, that could cause confusions. The vulnerability is fixed in 17.0.2.

An Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability was discovered in SOGo Webmail thru 5.6.0, allowing an authenticated user to send emails on behalf of other users by manipulating a user-controlled identifier in the email-sending request. The server fails to verify whether the authenticated user is authorized to use the specified sender identity, resulting in unauthorized message delivery as another user. This can lead to impersonation, phishing, or unauthorized communication within the system. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the only effective way to prevent this sender spoofing is on the SMTP server, not within a client such as SOGo.
The Wicked Folders – Folder Organizer for Pages, Posts, and Custom Post Types plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.0 via the delete_folders() function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. The Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to and including 3.7.7. This is due to a mismatch between the object used for authorization and the object actually accessed in the Optimize_Rest_Controller's create_item(), get_item(), delete_item(), and bulk_delete_items() endpoints — authorization is checked via current_user_can('edit_post'/'delete_post', $post_id) against the user-supplied post_id, while the storage layer keys analysis records on sha256($post_path) from a separately supplied, attacker-controlled post_path parameter, with no enforcement that post_path corresponds to post_id. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read or delete optimizer analysis records belonging to posts owned by other users by submitting their own post_id (which passes the capability check) together with the victim post's path.
The Document Embedder – Embed PDFs, Word, Excel, and Other Files plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.4. This is due to the plugin not verifying that a user has permission to access the requested resource in the 'bplde_save_document_library', 'bplde_get_single', and 'bplde_delete_document_library' AJAX actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to read, modify, and delete Document Library entries created by other users, including administrators, via the 'id' parameter.

Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00689
The Qi Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.9 via the 'page_id' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to modify the stored Qi Blocks styles of arbitrary posts, templates, or widgets they do not own — including site-wide surfaces via the reserved 'template' and 'widget' page_id values — enabling unauthorized frontend defacement, content hiding, and degradation of any page on the site. The endpoint's permission_callback checks only the generic edit_posts and publish_posts capabilities, meaning any user with the built-in Author role satisfies the check regardless of post ownership.
