SSRF in lobehub/lobe-chat with native web fetch module

LobeChat is an open source chat application platform. The web-crawler package in LobeChat version 1.136.1 allows server-side request forgery (SSRF) in the tools.search.crawlPages tRPC endpoint. A client can supply an arbitrary urls array together with impls containing the value naive. The service passes the user URLs to Crawler.crawl and the naive implementation performs a server-side fetch of each supplied URL without validating or restricting internal network addresses (such as localhost, 127.0.0.1, private IP ranges, or cloud instance metadata endpoints). This allows an attacker with a valid user token (or in development mode using a bypass header) to make the server disclose responses from internal HTTP services, potentially exposing internal API data or cloud metadata credentials. Version 1.136.2 fixes the issue. Update to version 1.136.2. No known workarounds exist.

LobeChat < 2.2.10-canary.18 - SSRF via importFromUrl and fetchImageFromUrl

LobeChat before 2.2.10-canary.18 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to direct internal HTTP requests to arbitrary URLs by supplying user-controlled input to the skill import service (importFromUrl) and topic cover update (fetchImageFromUrl) endpoints, which use the global fetch without the project's ssrf-safe-fetch wrapper. Attackers can target internal addresses such as cloud instance metadata endpoints through these unprotected code paths to disclose internal service responses and cloud credentials.

LobeHub: Unauthenticated SSRF in `/webapi/proxy`

LobeHub is a work-and-lifestyle space to find, build, and collaborate with agent teammates that grow with you. Prior to 2.1.57, the /webapi/proxy endpoint on app.lobehub.com accepts a URL in the POST body and fetches it server-side without any authentication. An attacker can use this to make arbitrary outbound requests from LobeHub's infrastructure, leak Vercel deployment details, and inject cookies on the lobehub.com domain through reflected Set-Cookie headers. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.57.

Lobe Chat has insufficient fix for GHSA-mxhq-xw3g-rphc (CVE-2024-32964)

Lobe Chat is an open-source artificial intelligence chat framework. Prior to version 1.19.13, server-side request forgery protection implemented in `src/app/api/proxy/route.ts` does not consider redirect and could be bypassed when attacker provides an external malicious URL which redirects to internal resources like a private network or loopback address. Version 1.19.13 contains an improved fix for the issue.

lobe-chat `/api/proxy` endpoint Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability

Lobe Chat is a chatbot framework that supports speech synthesis, multimodal, and extensible Function Call plugin system. Prior to 0.150.6, lobe-chat had an unauthorized Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in the /api/proxy endpoint. An attacker can construct malicious requests to cause Server-Side Request Forgery without logging in, attack intranet services, and leak sensitive information.

ssrf vulnerability in lobe-chat

Lobe Chat is an open-source, AI chat framework. Versions of lobe-chat prior to 1.19.13 have an unauthorized ssrf vulnerability. An attacker can construct malicious requests to cause SSRF without logging in, attack intranet services, and leak sensitive information. The jwt token header X-Lobe-Chat-Auth strored proxy address and OpenAI API Key, can be modified to scan an internal network in the target lobe-web environment. This issue has been addressed in release version 1.19.13 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

TablePress SSRF vulnerability due to insufficient filtering of cloud provider hosts

TablePress is a table plugin for Wordpress. For importing tables, TablePress makes external HTTP requests based on a URL that is provided by the user. That user input is filtered insufficiently, which makes it is possible to send requests to unintended network locations and receive responses. On sites in a cloud environment like AWS, an attacker can potentially make GET requests to the instance's metadata REST API. If the instance's configuration is insecure, this can lead to the exposure of internal data, including credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.2.5.

Blind SSRF on OpenProject instance via webhooks

OpenProject is an open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to 17.2.0, OpenProject SMTP test endpoint (POST /admin/settings/mail_notifications) accepts arbitrary host and port values and exhibits measurable differences in response behaviour depending on whether the target IP exists and whether the port is open. An attacker with access can use these timing and error distinctions to map internal hosts and identify which services/ports are reachable. Similarly, you can create webhooks in OpenProject and point them to arbitrary IPs, resulting in the same kind of SSRF issue which allows attackers to scan the internal network. This vulnerability is fixed in 17.2.0.
