The TypeSquare Webfonts for ConoHa plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify the plugin's site-wide font settings, including the typesquare_auth option (fontThemeUseType), show_post_form, and typesquare_fonttheme, by submitting a POST request to any wp-admin page. For fontThemeUseType values 1 and 3, no nonce verification is performed either, meaning those branches are additionally exploitable via cross-site request forgery.
The GSheet For Woo Importer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized loss of data due to a missing capability check on the process_ajax_restore_action() function in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete the plugin's Google Sheets API token and configuration options.
FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to 1.8.221, FreeScout allows a non-admin user to permanently delete an internal note (private thread) from any conversation, even after that user's access to the mailbox containing the conversation has been revoked. The ThreadPolicy::delete authorization policy does not verify mailbox membership, so a former team member retains destructive write access to notes they created. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.221.

In Sylius before versions 1.6.9, 1.7.9 and 1.8.3, the user may register in a shop by email mail@example.com, verify it, change it to the mail another@domain.com and stay verified and enabled. This may lead to having accounts addressed to totally different emails, that were verified. Note, that this way one is not able to take over any existing account (guest or normal one). The issue has been patched in Sylius 1.6.9, 1.7.9 and 1.8.3. As a workaround, you may resolve this issue on your own by creating a custom event listener, which will listen to the sylius.customer.pre_update event. You can determine that email has been changed if customer email and user username are different. They are synchronized later on. Pay attention, to email changing behavior for administrators. You may need to skip this logic for them. In order to achieve this, you should either check master request path info, if it does not contain /admin prefix or adjust event triggered during customer update in the shop. You can find more information on how to customize the event here.
The Post Carousel Slider for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to improper authorization due to a missing capability check on the process_wbelps_promo_form() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to trigger the plugin’s support‐form handler to send arbitrary emails to the site’s support address.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete the plugin's options including the critical 'assistiobot_oauth_settings' option, which disrupts the plugin's integration with the Assistio bot service.

The ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Groups and Communities plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.9.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action via the pm_set_group_order, pm_set_group_items, and pm_set_field_order AJAX actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify site-wide ProfileGrid group settings including group menu order, group list order, group icon display, and field ordering.

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, POST /api/tag/getTag is registered with model.CheckAuth only, omitting both model.CheckAdminRole and model.CheckReadonly, despite the handler performing a configuration write that is normally guarded by both. Any authenticated user — including publish-service RoleReader accounts and RoleEditor accounts on a read-only workspace — can call this endpoint with a sort argument to mutate model.Conf.Tag.Sort and trigger model.Conf.Save(), which atomically rewrites the entire workspace conf.json. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
Multiple plugins and/or themes for WordPress by LiquidThemes are vulnerable to unauthorized access due to a missing capability check on the liquid_reset_wordpress_before AJAX in various versions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to deactivate all of a site's plugins. While we escalated this to Envato after not being able to establish contact, it appears the developer added a nonce check, however that is not sufficient protection as the nonce is exposed to all users with access to the dashboard.

The Speedup Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 1.5.9. The `speedup01_ajax_enabled()` function, which handles the `wp_ajax_speedup01_enabled` AJAX action, does not perform any capability check via `current_user_can()` and also lacks nonce verification. This is in contrast to other AJAX handlers in the same plugin (e.g., `speedup01_ajax_install_iox` and `speedup01_ajax_delete_cache_file`) which properly check for `install_plugins` and `manage_options` capabilities respectively. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enable or disable the site's optimization module by sending a POST request to admin-ajax.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update option values to 'hide' on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update an option that would create an error on the site and deny service to legitimate users or be used to set some values to true such as registration.
The Social Icons Widget & Block by WPZOOM plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized data modification due to a missing capability check in the add_menu_item() method hooked to admin_menu in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.8. This is due to the method performing wp_insert_post() and update_post_meta() calls to create a sharing configuration without verifying the current user has administrator-level capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to trigger the creation of a published wpzoom-sharing configuration post with default sharing button settings, which causes social sharing buttons to be automatically injected into all post content on the frontend via the the_content filter.
The DSGVO All in one for WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 4.9. This is due to the dsgvo_reset_policy_service_func() function lacking both capability checks and nonce verification while processing user-supplied parameters to reset plugin options. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to reset all customized privacy policy content including cookie notices, Google Analytics policies, Facebook policies, and YouTube policies to their default values.
EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to 9.3.5, a business logic flaw (Broken Access Control) in EspoCRM 9.3.3 allows low-privileged users to pin arbitrary notes without having the required edit permissions for the parent object. Due to a "write first, authorize later" execution flaw in the backend API, even though the server correctly returns a 403 Forbidden error, the targeted note's pinned status is already persistently modified in the database. The root cause lies in the server-side processing of the POST /api/v1/Note/{id}/pin endpoint. In application/Espo/Tools/Stream/Api/PostNotePin.php, the process() method first calls getNote($id) before calling checkParent($note). This vulnerability is fixed in 9.3.5.
The Download Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the `makeMediaPublic()` and `makeMediaPrivate()` functions in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.51. This is due to the functions only checking for `edit_posts` capability without verifying post ownership via `current_user_can('edit_post', $id)`, and the destructive operations executing before the admin-level check in `mediaAccessControl()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to strip all protection metadata (password, access restrictions, private flag) from any media file they do not own, making admin-protected files publicly accessible via their direct URL.
The Responsive Blocks – Page Builder for Blocks & Patterns plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action.
