Unsafe deserialization vulnerability in MixPHP Framework 2.x thru 2.2.17. The session and cache handlers use unserialize() on data from Redis in the RedisHandler object.
Spring Integration framework provides Kryo Codec implementations as an alternative for Java (de)serialization. When Kryo is configured with default options, all unregistered classes are resolved on demand. This leads to the "deserialization gadgets" exploit when provided data contains malicious code for execution during deserialization. In order to protect against this type of attack, Kryo can be configured to require a set of trusted classes for (de)serialization. Spring Integration should be proactive against blocking unknown "deserialization gadgets" when configuring Kryo in code.
Apache MINA's AbstractIoBuffer.resolveClass() contains two branches, one of them (for static classes or primitive types) does not check the class at all, bypassing the classname allowlist and allowing arbitrary code to be executed. The fix checks if the class is present in the accepted class filter before calling Class.forName(). Affected versions are Apache MINA 2.0.0 <= 2.0.27, 2.1.0 <= 2.1.10, and 2.2.0 <= 2.2.5. The problem is resolved in Apache MINA 2.0.28, 2.1.11, and 2.2.6 by applying the classname allowlist earlier. Affected are applications using Apache MINA that call IoBuffer.getObject(). Applications using Apache MINA are advised to upgrade.
OpenCATS v0.9.6 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the getDataGridPager's ajax functionality.
A remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in Optica allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code via specially crafted JSON payloads. Specially crafted JSON payloads may lead to RCE (remote code execution) on the attacked system running Optica. The vulnerability was patched in v. 0.10.2, where the call to the function `oj.load` was changed to `oj.safe_load`.
Jenkins DotCi Plugin 2.40.00 and earlier does not configure its YAML parser to prevent the instantiation of arbitrary types, resulting in a remote code execution vulnerability.
Unsafe deserialization vulnerability in MixPHP Framework 2.x thru 2.2.17. The session and cache handlers use unserialize() on data from the filesystem in the FileHandler object.
The fix for CVE-2024-52046 in Apache MINA AbstractIoBuffer.getObject() was incomplete. The classname allowlist of classes allowed to be deserialized was applied too late after a static initializer in a class to be read might already have been executed. Applications using Apache MINA are advised to upgrade
Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master versions 00.00.01a and prior deserialize network packets without proper verification. If the device connects to an attacker-controlled server, the attacker could send maliciously crafted packets that would be deserialized and executed, leading to remote code execution.
The Stop Spammers Security | Block Spam Users, Comments, Forms WordPress plugin before 2022.6 passes base64 encoded user input to the unserialize() PHP function when CAPTCHA are used as second challenge, which could lead to PHP Object injection if a plugin installed on the blog has a suitable gadget chain
`yiisoft/yii` before version 1.1.27 are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) if the application calls `unserialize()` on arbitrary user input. This has been patched in 1.1.27.
Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master versions 00.00.01a and prior deserialize user-supplied data provided through the Device-DataCollect service port without proper verification. An attacker could provide malicious serialized objects to execute arbitrary code upon deserialization.
JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values via javax.jms.ObjectMessage.getObject() without applying any ObjectInputFilter, class allowlist or class denylist. Because this code path is reached whenever the mapJmsMessage option is enabled (the default) and Camel acts as a JMS consumer, an attacker able to publish a crafted ObjectMessage to a queue or topic consumed by a Camel application could achieve remote code execution when a deserialization gadget chain was present on the classpath. The same handling was reached transitively through camel-sjms2 (whose Sjms2Endpoint extends SjmsEndpoint) and through camel-amqp (whose AMQPJmsBinding extends JmsBinding), and by other JMS-family components built on JmsComponent such as camel-activemq and camel-activemq6. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.7, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2, from 4.19.0 before 4.20.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.7. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.2.
IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition 7.1.5.18 and 8.0.8.0 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an unsafe deserialization flaw. By sending specially-crafted data, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system. IBM X-Force ID: 236069.
Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) accepts serialized .NET data via the '/remoteweb/remote.rem' endpoint, allowing a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with 'NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService' privileges. The vulnerable endpoint is used by Newforma Project Center Server (NPCS), so a compromised NIX system can be used to attack an associated NPCS system. To mitigate this vulnerability, restrict network access to the '/remoteweb/remote.rem' endpoint, for example using the IIS URL Rewrite Module.
Fluentd collects events from various data sources and writes them to files, RDBMS, NoSQL, IaaS, SaaS, Hadoop and so on. A remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in non-default configurations of Fluentd allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code via specially crafted JSON payloads. Fluentd setups are only affected if the environment variable `FLUENT_OJ_OPTION_MODE` is explicitly set to `object`. Please note: The option FLUENT_OJ_OPTION_MODE was introduced in Fluentd version 1.13.2. Earlier versions of Fluentd are not affected by this vulnerability. This issue was patched in version 1.15.3. As a workaround do not use `FLUENT_OJ_OPTION_MODE=object`.
Phpok 6.1 has a deserialization vulnerability via framework/phpok_call.php.
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.115, the AgentService.loadAgentFromFile method uses the js-yaml library to parse YAML files without disabling dangerous tags (such as !!js/function and !!js/undefined). This allows an attacker to craft a malicious YAML file that, when parsed, executes arbitrary JavaScript code. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by uploading a malicious agent definition file via the API endpoint, leading to remote code execution (RCE) on the server. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.115.
Rack::Session is a session management implementation for Rack. From 2.0.0 to before 2.1.2, Rack::Session::Cookie incorrectly handles decryption failures when configured with secrets:. If cookie decryption fails, the implementation falls back to a default decoder instead of rejecting the cookie. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to supply a crafted session cookie that is accepted as valid session data without knowledge of any configured secret. Because this mechanism is used to load session state, an attacker can manipulate session contents and potentially gain unauthorized access. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.2.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in empik EmpikPlace for Woocommerce empik-for-woocommerce allows Object Injection. This issue affects EmpikPlace for Woocommerce: from n/a through <= 1.4.3.
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.8, there was an insecure deserialization in BentoML's runner server. By setting specific headers and parameters in the POST request, it is possible to execute any unauthorized arbitrary code on the server, which will grant the attackers to have the initial access and information disclosure on the server. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.8.
vLLM is a high-throughput and memory-efficient inference and serving engine for LLMs. Versions starting from 0.6.5 and prior to 0.8.5, having vLLM integration with mooncake, are vulnerable to remote code execution due to using pickle based serialization over unsecured ZeroMQ sockets. The vulnerable sockets were set to listen on all network interfaces, increasing the likelihood that an attacker is able to reach the vulnerable ZeroMQ sockets to carry out an attack. vLLM instances that do not make use of the mooncake integration are not vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 0.8.5.
A remote code execution risk when restoring backup files originating from Moodle 1.9 was identified.
A deserialization vulnerability existed in dubbo hessian-lite 3.2.12 and its earlier versions, which could lead to malicious code execution. This issue affects Apache Dubbo 2.7.x version 2.7.17 and prior versions; Apache Dubbo 3.0.x version 3.0.11 and prior versions; Apache Dubbo 3.1.x version 3.1.0 and prior versions.

ThinkPHP v6.0.13 was discovered to contain a deserialization vulnerability via the component League\Flysystem\Cached\Storage\Psr6Cache. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted payload.
An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS versions from 2.19.0 up to 3.6.5, Mbed TLS 4.0.0. Insufficient protection of serialized SSL context or session structures allows an attacker who can modify the serialized structures to induce memory corruption, leading to arbitrary code execution. This is caused by Incorrect Use of Privileged APIs.
Dataease is an open source data visualization analysis tool. Dataease prior to 1.15.2 has a deserialization vulnerability. In Dataease, the Mysql data source in the data source function can customize the JDBC connection parameters and the Mysql server target to be connected. In `backend/src/main/java/io/dataease/provider/datasource/JdbcProvider.java`, the `MysqlConfiguration` class does not filter any parameters. If an attacker adds some parameters to a JDBC url and connects to a malicious mysql server, the attacker can trigger the mysql jdbc deserialization vulnerability. Through the deserialization vulnerability, the attacker can execute system commands and obtain server privileges. Version 1.15.2 contains a patch for this issue.
