2. Pydantic AI: Pydantic AI: Information disclosure via Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) through malicious URLs in message history.

A flaw was found in Pydantic AI. This Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allows a remote attacker to include malicious URLs within untrusted message history. When processed by the application, these URLs can force the server to make unauthorized HTTP requests to internal network resources. This could lead to the disclosure of sensitive internal information or access to cloud credentials.

text-generation-inference through 3.3.7 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the OpenAI-compatible multimodal chat completions endpoint that allows unauthenticated network attackers to coerce the server into issuing arbitrary HTTP GET requests by supplying a crafted image_url value in chat message content. The fetch_image function in router/src/validation.rs performs no validation of private, loopback, link-local, or cloud metadata target addresses, and the reqwest HTTP client follows redirects by default, enabling attackers to bypass scheme checks via redirect chains to reach internal services and cloud instance-metadata endpoints for internal port scanning and credential theft.

Prior to 0.9.0, the Docker API server applied its SSRF destination check on the non-streaming /crawl path but not on the streaming path. handle_stream_crawl_request passed seed URLs straight to the crawler with no destination validation, allowing a remote unauthenticated client to call POST /crawl/stream or POST /crawl with crawler_config.stream=true with a URL pointing at an internal, private, or link-local address; the server fetched it and streamed the response body back. Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the remote_url parameter in the remote directory scan endpoint (POST /v1/{iac}/{iacVersion}/{cloud}/remote/dir/scan) when running in server mode. An unauthenticated remote attacker can supply an attacker-controlled HTTP URL as remote_url with remote_type set to "http". The URL is passed directly to hashicorp/go-getter (v1.7.5) without validation. Go-getter's HttpGetter supports the X-Terraform-Get response header, allowing the attacker's server to redirect the download to a file:// URL, enabling local file read. Additionally, HttpGetter has Netrc set to true, causing it to read ~/.netrc and send stored credentials to attacker-controlled hostnames. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

When Terrascan parses uploaded ARM templates or CloudFormation templates, it resolves external URLs referenced within those templates via hashicorp/go-getter with all default detectors enabled, including FileDetector. Prior to 10.5.2, in a default dozzle deploy (the documented quickstart, no DOZZLE_AUTH_PROVIDER set), POST /api/notifications/test-webhook is reachable without authentication and forwards an attacker-controlled URL into a WebhookDispatcher that sends an HTTP POST to the supplied URL with attacker-controlled request headers, and returns the response status code AND up to 1MB of the response body to the caller, when the target replies non-2xx. Prior to version 2.21.3, the GET /public/stream endpoint in PublicController accepts a user-supplied url query parameter and proxies the full HTTP response back to the caller. The only validation is url.endsWith('mp4'), which is trivially bypassable by appending .mp4 as a query parameter value or URL fragment. In versions 25.0 and below, the plugin/LiveLinks/proxy.php endpoint validates user-supplied URLs against internal/private networks using isSSRFSafeURL(), but only checks the initial URL. curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0.

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to version 1.29.2, the Link Check API (/api/v1/message/{ID}/link-check) is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The server performs HTTP HEAD requests to every URL found in an email without validating target hosts or filtering private/internal IP addresses. The response returns status codes and status text per link, making this a non-blind SSRF. In the default configuration (no authentication on SMTP or API), this is fully exploitable remotely with zero user interaction. This is the same class of vulnerability that was fixed in the HTML Check API (CVE-2026-23845 / GHSA-6jxm-fv7w-rw5j) and the screenshot proxy (CVE-2026-21859 / GHSA-8v65-47jx-7mfr), but the Link Check code path was not included in either fix. In versions prior to 0.54.1, changedetection.io is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) because the URL validation function `is_safe_valid_url()` does not validate the resolved IP address of watch URLs against private, loopback, or link-local address ranges. An authenticated user (or any user when no password is configured, which is the default) can add a watch for internal network URLs. Verba RAG application version 2.1.3 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability combined with a same-origin middleware bypass that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to make the server issue arbitrary HTTP requests by supplying a crafted Origin header and attacker-controlled host and port values. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. (CWE-918)   Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, do not validate the Host header of incoming HTTP/HTTPS requests.   By providing URLs to unexpected hosts or ports, attackers can make it appear that the server is sending the request, possibly bypassing access controls such as firewalls that prevent the attackers from accessing the URLs directly. The server can be used as a proxy to conduct port scanning of hosts in internal networks, use other URLs such as that can access documents on the system (using file://), or use other protocols such as gopher:// or tftp://, which may provide greater control over the contents of requests.

An unauthenticated attacker can submit a crafted image_url to the chat completions endpoint pointing to an attacker-controlled host that returns a redirect to a private IP or cloud-metadata endpoint, causing the server to follow the redirect and expose internal service content through the model pipeline.

This endpoint accepts a user-supplied URL parameter to connect to an OpenZiti Controller and performs a server-side request, resulting in a potential Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. The fixed version has moved the request to the external controller from the server side to the client side, thereby eliminating the identity of the node from being used to gain any additional permissions.
