TypeBot: SSRF Protection Bypass via DNS-Resolved Hostnames in Webhook / HTTP Request Validation

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions prior to 3.16.0, SSRF protection for Webhook / HTTP Request blocks validates only the URL string, blocked hostname literals, and literal IP formats. It does not resolve DNS before allowing the request. As a result, a hostname such as ssrf-repro.example that resolves to 127.0.0.1, 169.254.169.254, or RFC1918/private space passes validation and is later fetched by the backend HTTP client. This enables server-side request forgery to loopback, cloud metadata, and private network targets. This issue has been resolved in version 3.16.0.

TypeBot: Unauthenticated SSRF via isolated-vm fetch in preview chat endpoint bypasses SSRF controls

Typebot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.15.2 and prior, the preview chat endpoint (POST /api/v1/typebots/{typebotId}/preview/startChat) allows unauthenticated users to achieve Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) by supplying a custom typebot definition with server-side code blocks. The fetch function exposed inside the isolated-vm sandbox calls Node.js native fetch without the SSRF validation (validateHttpReqUrl) that protects the HTTP Request block. This bypasses all SSRF mitigations added after GHSA-8gq9-rw7v-3jpr. Exploitation of this unauthenticated SSRF vulnerability can lead to cloud credential theft, internal network access and data exfiltration for any self-hosted Typebot deployments and hosted services. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.

TypeBot: SSRF via Open Redirect Bypass in HTTP Request and Code Blocks

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions 3.15.2 and prior contain an SSRF via Open Redirect Bypass as the HTTP Request block and Code block validate the initial request URL via validateHttpReqUrl() to block private IPs and cloud metadata hostnames. However, the HTTP clients (ky and fetch) follow 302 redirects without re-validating the redirect destination. An authenticated user can point a bot block to an attacker-controlled server that responds with a redirect to an internal IP, causing the Typebot server to reach internal services. An authenticated Typebot user can reach AWS metadata (169.254.169.254), private subnets, and container-internal services. Exploitable to extract cloud IAM credentials or probe internal APIs inaccessible from the internet. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.

Typebot May Expose AWS EKS Credentials via Server Side Request Forgery in Webhook Block

Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder. In versions prior to 3.13.1, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Typebot webhook block (HTTP Request component) functionality allows authenticated users to make arbitrary HTTP requests from the server, including access to AWS Instance Metadata Service (IMDS). By bypassing IMDSv2 protection through custom header injection, attackers can extract temporary AWS IAM credentials for the EKS node role, leading to complete compromise of the Kubernetes cluster and associated AWS infrastructure. Version 3.13.1 fixes the issue.

OpenClaw Gateway tool allowed unrestricted gatewayUrl override

OpenClaw is a personal AI assistant. Prior to OpenClaw version 2026.2.14, the Gateway tool accepted a tool-supplied `gatewayUrl` without sufficient restrictions, which could cause the OpenClaw host to attempt outbound WebSocket connections to user-specified targets. This requires the ability to invoke tools that accept `gatewayUrl` overrides (directly or indirectly). In typical setups this is limited to authenticated operators, trusted automation, or environments where tool calls are exposed to non-operators. In other words, this is not a drive-by issue for arbitrary internet users unless a deployment explicitly allows untrusted users to trigger these tool calls. Some tool call paths allowed `gatewayUrl` overrides to flow into the Gateway WebSocket client without validation or allowlisting. This meant the host could be instructed to attempt connections to non-gateway endpoints (for example, localhost services, private network addresses, or cloud metadata IPs). In the common case, this results in an outbound connection attempt from the OpenClaw host (and corresponding errors/timeouts). In environments where the tool caller can observe the results, this can also be used for limited network reachability probing. If the target speaks WebSocket and is reachable, further interaction may be possible. Starting in version 2026.2.14, tool-supplied `gatewayUrl` overrides are restricted to loopback (on the configured gateway port) or the configured `gateway.remote.url`. Disallowed protocols, credentials, query/hash, and non-root paths are rejected.

OpenEMR has Out-of-Band Server-Side Request Forgery (OOB SSRF)

OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.0.0.2, users with the `Notes - my encounters` role can fill Eye Exam forms in patient encounters. The answers to the form can be printed out in PDF form. An Out-of-Band Server-Side Request Forgery (OOB SSRF) vulnerability was identified in the PDF creation function where the form answers are parsed as unescaped HTML, allowing an attacker to forge requests from the server made to external or internal resources. Version 8.0.0.2 fixes the issue.

OpenClaw < 2026.3.2 - DNS Pinning Bypass via Environment Proxy Configuration in web_fetch

OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.2 contain a DNS pinning bypass vulnerability in strict URL fetch paths that allows attackers to circumvent SSRF guards when environment proxy variables are configured. When HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, or ALL_PROXY environment variables are present, attacker-influenced URLs can be routed through proxy behavior instead of pinned-destination routing, enabling access to internal targets reachable from the proxy environment.

Apache Tomcat: Client certificate verification bypass due to virtual host mapping

Improper Input Validation vulnerability. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.14, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.49, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.112. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 through 8.5.100. Older EOL versions are not affected. Tomcat did not validate that the host name provided via the SNI extension was the same as the host name provided in the HTTP host header field. If Tomcat was configured with more than one virtual host and the TLS configuration for one of those hosts did not require client certificate authentication but another one did, it was possible for a client to bypass the client certificate authentication by sending different host names in the SNI extension and the HTTP host header field. The vulnerability only applies if client certificate authentication is only enforced at the Connector. It does not apply if client certificate authentication is enforced at the web application. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.15 or later, 10.1.50 or later or 9.0.113 or later, which fix the issue.

LLaMA-Factory is a tuning library for large language models. Prior to version 0.9.4, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the chat API allows any authenticated user to force the server to make arbitrary HTTP requests to internal and external networks. This can lead to the exposure of sensitive internal services, reconnaissance of the internal network, or interaction with third-party services. The same mechanism also allows for a Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability, enabling users to read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem. The vulnerability exists in the `_process_request` function within `src/llamafactory/api/chat.py.` This function is responsible for processing incoming multimodal content, including images, videos, and audio provided via URLs. The function checks if the provided URL is a base64 data URI or a local file path (`os.path.isfile`). If neither is true, it falls back to treating the URL as a web URI and makes a direct HTTP GET request using `requests.get(url, stream=True).raw` without any validation or sanitization of the URL. Version 0.9.4 fixes the underlying issue.

Ingress-nginx `path` sanitization can be bypassed with newline character

A security issue was discovered in ingress-nginx where a user that can create or update ingress objects can use a newline character to bypass the sanitization of the `spec.rules[].http.paths[].path` field of an Ingress object (in the `networking.k8s.io` or `extensions` API group) to obtain the credentials of the ingress-nginx controller. In the default configuration, that credential has access to all secrets in the cluster.

OpenKruise PodProbeMarker is Vulnerable to SSRF via Unrestricted Host Field

Kruise provides automated management of large-scale applications on Kubernetes. Prior to versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5, PodProbeMarker allows defining custom probes with TCPSocket or HTTPGet handlers. The webhook validation does not restrict the Host field in these probe configurations. Since kruise-daemon runs with hostNetwork=true, it executes probes from the node network namespace. An attacker with PodProbeMarker creation permission can specify arbitrary Host values to trigger SSRF from the node, perform port scanning, and receive response feedback through NodePodProbe status messages. Versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5 patch the issue.
