Apache Airflow Providers Keycloak: OAuth Login CSRF — Missing State Parameter in Keycloak Auth Manager

The Keycloak authentication manager in `apache-airflow-providers-keycloak` did not generate or validate the OAuth 2.0 `state` parameter on the login / login-callback flow, and did not use PKCE. An attacker with a Keycloak account in the same realm could deliver a crafted callback URL to a victim's browser and cause the victim to be logged into the attacker's Airflow session (login-CSRF / session fixation), where any credentials the victim subsequently stored in Airflow Connections would be harvestable by the attacker. Users are advised to upgrade `apache-airflow-providers-keycloak` to 0.7.0 or later.

Insufficient Message Token Validation in Ampache

Ampache is a web based audio/video streaming application and file manager. The current implementation of token parsing does not adequately validate CSRF tokens when users send messages to one another. This vulnerability could be exploited to forge CSRF attacks, allowing an attacker to send messages to any user, including administrators, if they interact with a malicious request. Cotonti CSRF in PFS folder edit allows unauthorized folder modification

Cotonti 1.0.0 (master branch, commit f43f1fc3) is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in the Personal File Storage (PFS) module. In modules/pfs/inc/pfs.editfolder.php, the folder update action ('a=update') updates folder metadata (title, description, public/gallery flags) without calling cot_check_xg() to validate the anti-CSRF token. A remote attacker who lures an authenticated user into visiting a malicious page can force the browser to submit a forged request that modifies the victim's folder metadata, including making a private folder public.

Symfony UX: CSRF Protection Bypass in symfony/ux-live-component — Accept Header is CORS-Safelisted

Symfony UX is a JavaScript ecosystem for Symfony. From 2.22.0 until 2.36.0 and 3.1.0, Symfony\UX\LiveComponent\EventListener\LiveComponentSubscriber::isLiveComponentRequest() gates #[LiveAction] invocations on Accept: application/vnd.live-component+html, but the Accept header is CORS-safelisted and cross-origin fetch() can set it without preflight, allowing forged cross-origin #[LiveAction] requests against a victim session when applications use SameSite=None, credentials: 'include', a permissive cookie policy, or a same-origin pivot. This issue is fixed in versions 2.36.0 and 3.1.0.

NamelessMC: OAuth callback `state` is not validated, allowing login CSRF / session swapping

NamelessMC is website software for Minecraft servers. In versions 2.2.4 and prior, the OAuth callback handling does not validate the state parameter server-side before exchanging the authorization code. This allows an attacker to capture a valid OAuth callback URL for their own account and cause a victim's browser to navigate to it, resulting in the victim's session being authenticated as the attacker-linked account (OAuth login CSRF / session swapping). This is patched in version 2.2.5.

An issue was discovered in Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) 10.0 and 10.1. A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in Zimbra Webmail due to improper validation of CSRF tokens. The application accepts CSRF tokens supplied within the request body instead of requiring them through the expected request header. An attacker can exploit this issue by tricking an authenticated user into submitting a crafted request. This may allow unauthorized actions to be performed on behalf of the victim.

Cross site request forgery vulnerability

Anuko Time Tracker is an open source, web-based time tracking application written in PHP. In Time Tracker before version 1.19.27.5431 a Cross site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability existed. The nature of CSRF is that a logged on user may be tricked by social engineering to click on an attacker-provided form that executes an unintended action such as changing user password. The vulnerability is fixed in Time Tracker version 1.19.27.5431. Upgrade is recommended. If upgrade is not practical, introduce ttMitigateCSRF() function in /WEB-INF/lib/common.php.lib using the latest available code and call it from ttAccessAllowed().

Saleor CSRF bypass in refreshToken mutation

Saleor is an e-commerce platform. Starting in version 3.10.0 and prior to versions 3.14.64, 3.15.39, 3.16.39, 3.17.35, 3.18.31, and 3.19.19, an attacker may bypass cross-set request forgery (CSRF) validation when calling refresh token mutation with empty string. When a user provides an empty string in `refreshToken` mutation, while the token persists in `JWT_REFRESH_TOKEN_COOKIE_NAME` cookie, application omits validation against CSRF token and returns valid access token. Versions 3.14.64, 3.15.39, 3.16.39, 3.17.35, 3.18.31, and 3.19.19 contain a patch for the issue. As a workaround, one may replace `saleor.graphql.account.mutations.authentication.refresh_token.py.get_refresh_token`. This will fix the issue, but be aware, that it returns `JWT_MISSING_TOKEN` instead of `JWT_INVALID_TOKEN`.

Mercurius: Incorrect Content-Type parsing can lead to CSRF attack

Mercurius is a GraphQL adapter for Fastify. Prior to version 16.4.0, a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability was identified. The issue arises from incorrect parsing of the Content-Type header in requests. Specifically, requests with Content-Type values such as application/x-www-form-urlencoded, multipart/form-data, or text/plain could be misinterpreted as application/json. This misinterpretation bypasses the preflight checks performed by the fetch() API, potentially allowing unauthorized actions to be performed on behalf of an authenticated user. This issue has been patched in version 16.4.0.

The Contests by Rewards Fuel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.62. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ajax_handler() function.
