Canon Medical Informatics Vitrea Vision 7.7.76.1 does not adequately enforce access controls. An authenticated user is able to gain unauthorized access to imaging records by tampering with the vitrea-view/studies/search patientId parameter.
Discourse is the an open source discussion platform. In some rare cases users redeeming an invitation can be added as a participant to several private message topics that they should not be added to. They are not notified of this, it happens transparently in the background. This issue has been resolved in commit `a414520742` and will be included in future releases. Users are advised to upgrade. Users are also advised to set `SiteSetting.max_invites_per_day` to 0 until the patch is installed.
Zammad 5.2.1 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. Zammad's asset handling mechanism has logic to ensure that customer users are not able to see personal information of other users. This logic was not effective when used through a web socket connection, so that a logged-in attacker would be able to fetch personal data of other users by querying the Zammad API. This issue is fixed in , 5.2.2.
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Starting in version 2.2 and prior to version 3.3.7, an endpoint used to display details of users listed in certain fields (such as ACLs) could be misused to dump basic user details (such as name, affiliation and email) in bulk. Version 3.3.7 fixes the issue. Owners of instances that allow everyone to create a user account, who wish to truly restrict access to these user details, should consider restricting user search to managers. As a workaround, it is possible to restrict access to the affected endpoints (e.g. in the webserver config), but doing so would break certain form fields which could no longer show the details of the users listed in those fields, so upgrading instead is highly recommended.
IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.7.16, 7.0.0.0 through 7.0.5.11, 7.1.0.0 through 7.1.2.7, and 7.2.0.0 through 7.2.3.0 could allow an authenticated user to obtain sensitive information in some instances due to improper security checking. IBM X-Force ID: 231360.
An issue was discovered in GitLab-EE starting with version 13.3 before 17.1.7, 17.2 before 17.2.5, and 17.3 before 17.3.2 that would allow an attacker to modify an on-demand DAST scan without permissions and leak variables.
The Awesome Support WordPress plugin before 6.1.2 does not ensure that the exported tickets archive to be downloaded belongs to the user making the request, allowing a low privileged user, such as subscriber to download arbitrary exported tickets via an IDOR vector
The main MiCODUS MV720 GPS tracker web server has an authenticated insecure direct object references vulnerability on endpoint and POST parameter “Device ID,” which accepts arbitrary device IDs.
Due to improper authorization check, business users who are using Israeli File from SHAAM program (/ATL/VQ23 transaction), are granted more than needed authorization to perform certain transaction, which may lead to users getting access to data that would otherwise be restricted.
OAuthenticator is an OAuth token library for the JupyerHub login handler. CILogonOAuthenticator is provided by the OAuthenticator package, and lets users log in to a JupyterHub via CILogon. This is primarily used to restrict a JupyterHub only to users of a given institute. The allowed_idps configuration trait of CILogonOAuthenticator is documented to be a list of domains that indicate the institutions whose users are authorized to access this JupyterHub. This authorization is validated by ensuring that the *email* field provided to us by CILogon has a *domain* that matches one of the domains listed in `allowed_idps`.If `allowed_idps` contains `berkeley.edu`, you might expect only users with valid current credentials provided by University of California, Berkeley to be able to access the JupyterHub. However, CILogonOAuthenticator does *not* verify which provider is used by the user to login, only the email address provided. So a user can login with a GitHub account that has email set to `<something>@berkeley.edu`, and that will be treated exactly the same as someone logging in using the UC Berkeley official Identity Provider. The patch fixing this issue makes a *breaking change* in how `allowed_idps` is interpreted. It's no longer a list of domains, but configuration representing the `EntityID` of the IdPs that are allowed, picked from the [list maintained by CILogon](https://cilogon.org/idplist/). Users are advised to upgrade.
Discourse Calendar adds the ability to create a dynamic calendar in the first post of a topic on Discourse. Uninvited users are able to gain access to private events by crafting a request to update their attendance. This problem is resolved in commit dfc4fa15f340189f177a1d1ab2cc94ffed3c1190. As a workaround, one may use post visibility to limit access.

Improper parsing of nested SQL statements on SQLLab would allow authenticated users to surpass their data authorization scope. This issue affects Apache Superset: before 3.0.4, from 3.1.0 before 3.1.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.1.1, which fixes the issue.
SAP Disclosure Management - version 10.1, allows an authenticated attacker to exploit certain misconfigured application endpoints to read sensitive data. These endpoints are normally exposed over the network and successful exploitation can lead to the exposure of data like financial reports.
In affected versions of Octopus Server it is possible to reveal information about teams via the API due to an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability
Biscom Secure File Transfer (SFT) 5.0.1050 through 5.1.1067 and 6.0.1000 through 6.0.1003 allows Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) by an authenticated sender because of an error in a file-upload feature. This is fixed in 5.1.1068 and 6.0.1004.
Smart eVision has inadequate authorization for the database query function. A remote attacker with general user privilege, who is not explicitly authorized to access the information, can access sensitive information.
Banking services from SAP 9.0 (Bank Analyzer), version - 500, and SAP S/4HANA for financial products subledger, version 100, does not correctly perform necessary authorization checks for an authenticated user due to Improper Authorization checks, that may cause a system administrator to create incorrect authorization proposals. This may result in privilege escalation and may expose restricted banking data.
Incorrect Authorization issue exists in the API key based security model for Remote Cluster Security, which is currently in Beta, in Elasticsearch 8.10.0 and before 8.13.0. This allows a malicious user with a valid API key for a remote cluster configured to use the new Remote Cluster Security to read arbitrary documents from any index on the remote cluster, and only if they use the Elasticsearch custom transport protocol to issue requests with the target index ID, the shard ID and the document ID. None of Elasticsearch REST API endpoints are affected by this issue.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. Argo CD starting with version 1.3.0 but before versions 2.1.11, 2.2.6, and 2.3.0 is vulnerable to a path traversal bug, compounded by an improper access control bug, allowing a malicious user with read-only repository access to leak sensitive files from Argo CD's repo-server. A malicious Argo CD user who has been granted `get` access for a repository containing a Helm chart can craft an API request to the `/api/v1/repositories/{repo_url}/appdetails` endpoint to leak the contents of out-of-bounds files from the repo-server. The malicious payload would reference an out-of-bounds file, and the contents of that file would be returned as part of the response. Contents from a non-YAML file may be returned as part of an error message. The attacker would have to know or guess the location of the target file. Sensitive files which could be leaked include files from other Applications' source repositories or any secrets which have been mounted as files on the repo-server. This vulnerability is patched in Argo CD versions 2.1.11, 2.2.6, and 2.3.0. The patches prevent path traversal and limit access to users who either A) have been granted Application `create` privileges or B) have been granted Application `get` privileges and are requesting details for a `repo_url` that has already been used for the given Application. There are currently no known workarounds.
Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in Deepfiction AI (deepfiction.ai) thru June 3, 2025, allowing attackers to chat with the LLM using other users' credits via sensitive information gained by the /browse/stories endpoint.
fleetdm/fleet is an open source device management, built on osquery. All versions of fleet making use of the teams feature are affected by this authorization bypass issue. Fleet instances without teams, or with teams but without restricted team accounts are not affected. In affected versions a team admin can erroneously add themselves as admin, maintainer or observer on other teams. Users are advised to upgrade to version 4.13. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
The Quick Edit module does not properly check entity access in some circumstances. This could result in users with the "access in-place editing" permission viewing some content they are are not authorized to access. Sites are only affected if the QuickEdit module (which comes with the Standard profile) is installed.
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, an authenticated user with a valid API key scoped to variable:list could read variables from projects they are not a member of by supplying an arbitrary projectId query parameter to the public API variables endpoint. The handler queried the variables repository directly without enforcing project membership checks, bypassing the authorization-aware service layer used by the internal enterprise controller. If variables were misused to store sensitive information such as credentials or tokens, they should be rotated immediately. This issue only affects licensed enterprise or team deployments with multiple projects and the variables feature enabled. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1.
The allows any authenticated user to join a private group due to a missing authorization check on a function
IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence 5.2.6 could disclose highly sensitive information to other authenticated users on the sytem due to incorrect authorization. IBM X-Force ID: 175485.
HumHub is an Open Source Enterprise Social Network. In affected versions users who are forced to change their password by an administrator may retrieve other users' data. This issue has been resolved by commit `eb83de20`. It is recommended that the HumHub is upgraded to 1.11.0, 1.10.4 or 1.9.4. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVAT is an open source interactive video and image annotation tool for computer vision. Versions 2.2.0 through 2.39.0 have no validation during the import process of a project or task backup to check that the filename specified in the query parameter refers to a TUS-uploaded file belonging to the same user. As a result, if an attacker with a CVAT account and a `user` role knows the filenames of other users' uploads, they could potentially access and steal data by creating projects or tasks using those files. This issue does not affect annotation or dataset TUS uploads, since in this case object-specific temporary directories are used. Users should upgrade to CVAT 2.40.0 or a later version to receive a patch. No known workarounds are available.
The License Manager for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the showLicenseKey() and showAllLicenseKeys() functions in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.6. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with admin dashboard access (contributors by default due to WooCommerce) to view arbitrary decrypted license keys. The functions contain a referrer nonce check. However, these can be retrieved via the dashboard through the "license" JS variable. Please note that the version in trunk is patched, however, the 3.0.7 tagged version is not.
The events-calendar-pro WordPress plugin before 6.4.0.1, The Events Calendar WordPress plugin before 6.4.0.1 does not prevent users with at least the contributor role from leaking details about events they shouldn't have access to. (e.g. password-protected events, drafts, etc.)
IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 24.0.0 through 24.0.0 IF005 and 24.0.1 through 24.0.1 IF002 could allow an authenticated user to view sensitive user and system information due to an indirect object reference through a user-controlled key.

An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 15.6 before 18.0.6, 18.1 before 18.1.4, and 18.2 before 18.2.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed authenticated users to bypass access controls and download private artifacts by accessing specific API endpoints.
Improper Access Control vulnerability in Liferay Portal 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.124, and Liferay DXP 2024.Q2.0 through 2024.Q2.8, 2024.Q1.1 through 2024.Q1.12 and 7.4 GA through update 92 allows guest users to obtain object entries information via the API Builder.
In JetBrains YouTrack before 2026.1.13570 improper access control allowed enumeration of restricted issues and articles on Planning Canvas
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA), Cisco Secure Email and Web Manager, and Cisco Secure Web Appliance, formerly known as Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA), could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to retrieve sensitive information from an affected device, including user credentials. This vulnerability is due to weak enforcement of back-end authorization checks. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain confidential data that is stored on the affected device.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Starting in version 10.3.0 and prior to version 10.5.0, the permission filters (i.e. `user_created IS $CURRENT_USER`) are not properly checked when using GraphQL subscription resulting in unauthorized users getting event on their subscription which they should not be receiving according to the permissions. This can be any collection but out-of-the box the `directus_users` collection is configured with such a permissions filter allowing you to get updates for other users when changes happen. Version 10.5.0 contains a patch. As a workaround, disable GraphQL subscriptions.
A vulnerability was found in Ignition where ignition configs are accessible from unprivileged containers in VMs running on VMware products. This issue is only relevant in user environments where the Ignition config contains secrets. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. Possible workaround is to not put secrets in the Ignition config.
The WP Customer Area WordPress plugin before 8.2.1 does not properly validates user capabilities in some of its AJAX actions, allowing any users to retrieve other user's account address.
The plugin ACF Quick Edit Fields for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This makes it possible for attackers without the edit_users capability to access metadata of other users, this includes contributor-level users and above.
Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in BOLD Workplanner in versions prior to 2.5.25 (4935b438f9b), consisting of a lack of adequate validation of user input, allowing an authenticated user to access to the list of permissions using unauthorised internal identifiers.

Exposure of Private Personal Information to an Unauthorized Actor in GitHub repository lquixada/cross-fetch prior to 3.1.5.
File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Versions 2.61.0 and below contain a permission enforcement bypass which allows users who are denied download privileges (perm.download = false) but granted share privileges (perm.share = true) to exfiltrate file content by creating public share links. While the direct raw download endpoint (/api/raw/) correctly enforces the download permission, the share creation endpoint only checks Perm.Share, and the public download handler (/api/public/dl/<hash>) serves file content without verifying that the original file owner has download permission. This means any authenticated user with share access can circumvent download restrictions by sharing a file and then retrieving it via the unauthenticated public download URL. The vulnerability undermines data-loss prevention and role-separation policies, as restricted users can publicly distribute files they are explicitly blocked from downloading directly. This issue has been fixed in version 2.62.0.
HashiCorp Consul and Consul Enterprise 1.2.0 up to 1.8.5 allowed operators with operator:read ACL permissions to read the Connect CA private key configuration. Fixed in 1.6.10, 1.7.10, and 1.8.6.
Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, the notebook module contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability that allows any authenticated student to read the private course notes of any other user on the platform by manipulating the notebook_id parameter in the editnote action. The application fetches the note content using only the supplied integer ID without verifying that the requesting user owns the note, and the full title and HTML body are rendered in the edit form and returned to the attacker's browser. While ownership checks exist in the write paths (updateNote() and delete_note()), they are entirely absent from the read path (get_note_information()). This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3.
Improper Authorization in GitHub repository phpipam/phpipam prior to 1.4.6.
