In version 0.31.4.0, an attacker can achieve Full Account Takeover & Privilege Escalation via Stored DOM XSS in backup module filename field manipulated via a sql file that tampers with the file name field to contain hidden XSS payload. This issue has been patched in version 0.31.5.0.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to 0.31.4.0, the Pages module does not apply the html_purify validation rule to content fields during create and update operations, while the Blog module does. Page content is stored unsanitized in the database and rendered as raw HTML on the public frontend via echo $pageInfo->content. An authenticated admin with page-editing privileges can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of every public visitor viewing the page. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.31.4.0.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to 0.31.4.0, the blacklist (ban) note parameter in UserController::ajax_blackList_post() is stored in the database without sanitization and rendered into an HTML data-note attribute without escaping. An admin with blacklist privileges can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of any other admin who views the user management page. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.31.4.0.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to 0.31.2.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input within System Settings – Company Information. Several administrative configuration fields accept attacker-controlled input that is stored server-side and later rendered without proper output encoding. These values are persisted in the database and rendered unsafely on public-facing pages only, such as the main landing page. There is no execution in the administrative dashboard—the vulnerability only impacts the public frontend. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.31.2.0.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input when adding Pages to navigation menus through the Menu Management functionality. Page-related data selected via the Pages section is stored server-side and rendered without proper output encoding. This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based content management system skeleton. Prior to version 0.31.9.0, the custom `html_purify` validation rule used to sanitize blog post bodies relies on by-reference mutation (`?string &$str`), but CodeIgniter 4's validator passes a local copy of the value, so the sanitized text is silently discarded. The Blog controller writes `$lanData['content']` directly into `blog_langs.content`, and the public template echoes it without escaping — yielding stored XSS executable in any visitor's browser, including the superadmin when previewing or editing posts. Version 0.31.9.0 patches the issue.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to 0.31.4.0, the Google Maps iframe setting (cMap field) in compInfosPost() sanitizes input using strip_tags() with an <iframe> allowlist and regex-based removal of on\w+ event handlers. However, the srcdoc attribute is not an event handler and passes all filters. An attacker with admin settings access can inject an <iframe srcdoc="..."> payload with HTML-entity-encoded JavaScript that executes in the context of the parent page when rendered to unauthenticated frontend visitors. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.31.4.0.

Note Mark is a web-based Markdown notes app. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Note Mark allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts via a crafted payload injected into the URL value of a link in the markdown content. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.13.1.
Initiative is a self-hosted project management platform. Versions of the application prior to 0.32.4 are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the document upload functionality. Any user with upload permissions within the "Initiatives" section can upload a malicious `.html` or `.htm` file as a document. Because the uploaded HTML file is served under the application's origin without proper sandboxing, the embedded JavaScript executes in the context of the application. As a result, authentication tokens, session cookies, or other sensitive data can be exfiltrated to an attacker-controlled server. Additionally, since the uploaded file is hosted under the application's domain, simply sharing the direct file link may result in execution of the malicious script when accessed. Version 0.32.4 fixes the issue.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the administrative interface of ultimatefosters UltimatePOS 4.8 where input submitted in the purchase functionality is reflected without proper escaping in the admin log panel page in the 'reference No.' field. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of an administrator's browser session, which could lead to session hijacking or other malicious actions.
