pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.34.2 and 11.5.3, pnpm can persist package-manager bootstrap metadata in the first YAML document of pnpm-lock.yaml. Before the patch, direct pnpm execution trusted an already resolved packageManagerDependencies entry when the committed env lockfile contained matching pnpm and @pnpm/exe versions. A malicious repository could therefore commit package-manager lockfile package records and snapshots that bypassed fresh package-manager resolution, then cause pnpm to install and execute bytes selected by that committed lockfile state during automatic version switching. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.34.2 and 11.5.3.

Before the patch, a repository could declare pacquet or @pnpm/pacquet as a config dependency and pnpm treated that repository-controlled dependency as an install-engine opt-in. During install, pnpm resolved a platform-specific @pacquet/<platform>-<arch>/pacquet binary from node_modules/.pnpm-config/<packageName> and spawned it as the developer or CI user. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.34.2 and 11.5.3.
pnpm is a package manager. Versions 10.0.0 through 10.25 allow git-hosted dependencies to execute arbitrary code during pnpm install, circumventing the v10 security feature "Dependency lifecycle scripts execution disabled by default". While pnpm v10 blocks postinstall scripts via the onlyBuiltDependencies mechanism, git dependencies can still execute prepare, prepublish, and prepack scripts during the fetch phase, enabling remote code execution without user consent or approval. This issue is fixed in version 10.26.0.
pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.34.0 and 11.4.0, pnpm allows a transitive dependency alias from registry package metadata to contain path traversal segments. During install, pnpm later uses that alias as a filesystem path when linking dependency nodes. As a result, a registry package can cause `pnpm install --ignore-scripts` to replace paths in the current project with symlinks to attacker-controlled dependency package directories. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.34.0 and 11.4.0.
pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.33.4 and 11.0.7, a malicious codeload.github.com server can serve whatever tarball it wants and pnpm will install it regardless of the lockfile. The lockfile does not store the hash of the dependencies from https://codeload.github.com. This means that if this server was compromised or a person's machine configuration was compromised, pnpm would download and install these dependencies. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.33.4 and 11.0.7.
pnpm is a package manager. Versions 10.26.2 and below store HTTP tarball dependencies (and git-hosted tarballs) in the lockfile without integrity hashes. This allows the remote server to serve different content on each install, even when a lockfile is committed. An attacker who publishes a package with an HTTP tarball dependency can serve different code to different users or CI/CD environments. The attack requires the victim to install a package that has an HTTP/git tarball in its dependency tree. The victim's lockfile provides no protection. This issue is fixed in version 10.26.0.

Concrete CMS 9.5.0 and below does not validate a CSRF token before processing requests to /dashboard/extend/update/prepare_remote_upgrade/<remoteMPID>. An attacker who controls the remote package returned for a known marketplace item ID can overwrite the package PHP on disk and force its upgrade() method to execute in a single browser navigation. This results in remote code execution as the web server user.   In order to be vulnerable, the victim must be passing canInstallPackages, victim site must be connected to the Concrete marketplace; and the attacker controls the package returned for a marketplace item ID already installed on the victim site. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v.4.0 score of 7.5 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. A vulnerability in jupyter-server versions 1.12.0 through 2.17.0 allows an attacker to bypass CORS origin validation when the `allow_origin_pat` configuration is used. The issue arises from the use of `re.match()` for validating the `Origin` header, which only anchors at the start of the string. This allows attacker-controlled domains such as `trusted.example.com.evil.com` to pass validation against patterns intended to match `trusted.example.com`. The vulnerability affects multiple locations in the codebase, including CORS headers, WebSocket connections, referer validation, and login redirects, potentially enabling phishing attacks, arbitrary code execution, and unauthorized access to sensitive API responses.
Vibe-Trading before 0.1.10 contains a DNS rebinding authentication bypass vulnerability that allows remote attackers to bypass bearer-token authentication by exploiting the server's trust of TCP peer addresses for loopback clients combined with missing Host header validation while binding to 0.0.0.0 with credentialed CORS. Attackers can craft a malicious DNS rebinding page to issue authenticated requests to the local API server, reach the shell execution endpoint with a bash-enabled preset, and achieve remote code execution as the API process user while also overwriting LLM and data-source settings to exfiltrate credentials.

An attacker could craft a malicious repository containing prompt template files that, when the workspace was opened in Theia, replaced the AI's system instructions with attacker-controlled content (indirect prompt injection). Combined with other AI chat features available in untrusted workspaces, this enabled attack chains leading to data exfiltration via Markdown image rendering or arbitrary command execution via task definitions.
A flaw was found in InstructLab. The `linux_train.py` script hardcodes `trust_remote_code=True` when loading models from HuggingFace. This allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary Python code execution by convincing a user to run `ilab train/download/generate` with a specially crafted malicious model from the HuggingFace Hub. In Eclipse Theia versions prior to 1.69.0, custom task definitions in workspace files (e.g. .theia/tasks.json, .vscode/tasks.json) could be executed without requiring workspace trust. An attacker could craft a malicious repository that, when cloned and opened in Theia, leads to execution of arbitrary commands with the user's privileges. In combination with AI chat features and a workspace .theia/settings.json that disabled tool confirmation, this could be triggered automatically by sending a message in the AI chat.

RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to version 1.4.0, the rmcp crate's Streamable HTTP server transport (crates/rmcp/src/transport/streamable_http_server/) did not validate the incoming Host header. This allowed a malicious public website, via a DNS rebinding attack, to send authenticated requests to an MCP server running on the victim's loopback or private-network interface. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.0.

Python JSON Logger is a JSON Formatter for Python Logging. Between 30 December 2024 and 4 March 2025 Python JSON Logger was vulnerable to RCE through a missing dependency. This occurred because msgspec-python313-pre was deleted by the owner leaving the name open to being claimed by a third party. If the package was claimed, it would allow them RCE on any Python JSON Logger user who installed the development dependencies on Python 3.13 (e.g. pip install python-json-logger[dev]). This issue has been resolved with 3.3.0.
A vulnerability in the custom URL parser of Cisco Webex App could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to persuade a user to download arbitrary files, which could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the host of the targeted user. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation when Cisco Webex App processes a meeting invite link. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted meeting invite link and download arbitrary files. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the targeted user.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.66 and 9.7.0-alpha.10, the GraphQL API endpoint does not respect the allowOrigin server option and unconditionally allows cross-origin requests from any website. This bypasses origin restrictions that operators configure to control which websites can interact with the Parse Server API. The REST API correctly enforces the configured allowOrigin restriction. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.66 and 9.7.0-alpha.10.

Elvish is a programming language and interactive shell, combined into one package. In versions prior to 0.14.0 Elvish's web UI backend (started by `elvish -web`) hosts an endpoint that allows executing the code sent from the web UI. The backend does not check the origin of requests correctly. As a result, if the user has the web UI backend open and visits a compromised or malicious website, the website can send arbitrary code to the endpoint in localhost. All Elvish releases from 0.14.0 onward no longer include the the web UI, although it is still possible for the user to build a version from source that includes the web UI. The issue can be patched for previous versions by removing the web UI (found in web, pkg/web or pkg/prog/web, depending on the exact version).

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Starting in version 0.10.1 and prior to version 0.18.0, two model implementation files hardcode `trust_remote_code=True` when loading sub-components, bypassing the user's explicit `--trust-remote-code=False` security opt-out. This enables remote code execution via malicious model repositories even when the user has explicitly disabled remote code trust. Version 0.18.0 patches the issue.

Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability
Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 1.93, the server uses the Origin value from the request headers as the email link baseUrl without validation. If an attacker controls the Origin, password reset / email verification links in emails can be generated pointing to the attacker’s domain, causing authentication tokens to be exposed and potentially leading to account takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.93.
