HeyForm has unauthenticated /api/upload endpoint that accepts arbitrary files with no auth/session/form context

HeyForm is an open-source form builder. Prior to version 3.0.0-rc.9, `POST /api/upload` has no authentication guard, no global guard, no form-context validation, no `openToken` requirement, and no session cookie check. Any anonymous internet user can upload files (PDF, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV, TXT, MP4, images, etc., up to 10 MB) and receive a permanent public URL on the HeyForm domain. The endpoint is used by both authenticated form creators and unauthenticated form submitters; because no form-context binding exists, every request to it is anonymously accepted. Version 3.0.0-rc.9 contains a patch for the issue.

HeyForm Vulnerable to Stored XSS via Unauthenticated SVG File Upload

HeyForm is an open-source form builder. Prior to version 3.0.0-rc.7, the `/api/upload` endpoint allows unauthenticated file uploads including SVG files. Uploaded SVGs are stored in the static assets directory and served with `Content-Type: image/svg+xml` by Express's serve-static middleware, allowing an attacker to achieve stored cross-site scripting (XSS) on the heyform domain without any authentication. Version 3.0.0-rc.7 contains a patch for the issue.

Karapace is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass

Karapace is an open-source implementation of Kafka REST and Schema Registry. Versions 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability when configured to use OAuth 2.0 Bearer Token authentication. If a request is sent without an Authorization header, the token validation logic is skipped entirely, allowing an unauthenticated user to read and write to Schema Registry endpoints that should otherwise be protected. This effectively renders the OAuth authentication mechanism ineffective. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.2.

Unrestricted File Upload in Form Framework

TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system. In TYPO3 before versions 8.7.40, 9.5.25, 10.4.14, 11.1.1, due to the lack of ensuring file extensions belong to configured allowed mime-types, attackers can upload arbitrary data with arbitrary file extensions - however, default _fileDenyPattern_ successfully blocked files like _.htaccess_ or _malicious.php_. Besides that, _UploadedFileReferenceConverter_ transforming uploaded files into proper FileReference domain model objects handles possible file uploads for other extensions as well - given those extensions use the Extbase MVC framework, make use of FileReference items in their direct or inherited domain model definitions and did not implement their own type converter. In case this scenario applies, _UploadedFileReferenceConverter_ accepts any file mime-type and persists files in the default location. In any way, uploaded files are placed in the default location _/fileadmin/user_upload/_, in most scenarios keeping the submitted filename - which allows attackers to directly reference files, or even correctly guess filenames used by other individuals, disclosing this information. No authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. This is fixed in versions 8.7.40, 9.5.25, 10.4.14, 11.1.1.

SimpleChat plugin validation endpoints missing authentication and authorization

SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.241.206, several plugin validation routes in application/single_app/plugin_validation_endpoint.py, including `POST /api/admin/plugins/test-instantiation`, `GET /api/admin/plugins/health-check/<plugin_name>`, `POST /api/admin/plugins/repair/<plugin_name>`, and `POST /api/plugins/validate`, relied on @swagger_route(security=get_auth_security()) documentation without enforcing @login_required, @user_required, or @admin_required at runtime, allowing unauthenticated or unauthorized clients to invoke plugin validation, health, and repair behavior. This issue is fixed in version 0.241.206.

Aqara Board IoT insecure debug API

The Aqara Board service (op-test.aqara.com) accepts arbitrary MQTT command payloads, and forwards them to the platfom's HiveMQ broker without authentication. This is an instance of "CWE-306: Missing Authentication for Critical Function" and has an estimated CVSS ofCVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:L (8.6 High). When combined with CVE-2026-50082, CVE-50083, and CVE-50084, this can lead to a fully unauthenticated, remote takeover of affected devices.

Trilium Notes: Authentication Bypass in Clipper API for Electron (Desktop) Builds

Trilium Notes is a cross-platform, hierarchical note taking application focused on building large personal knowledge bases. In versions 0.102.1 and prior, the Clipper API in Trilium Desktop (v0.101.3) allows full authentication bypass when running in an Electron environment. When Trilium detects an Electron environment, it explicitly disables authentication middleware for the Clipper API, exposing endpoints such as /api/clipper/notes to the network with no password, API token, or CSRF protection. An attacker on a shared network (for example, a corporate LAN or public Wi-Fi) can scan for open high-range ports using a tool like nmap, since Trilium often binds to ports such as 37840. Once a candidate port is found, an unauthenticated request to the Clipper handshake endpoint, which also bypasses authentication, confirms a Trilium instance by returning the application name and protocol version. This facilitates unauthorized data access, phishing, and local system compromise. The issue has been fixed in version 0.102.2.

AVideo Vulnerable to Unauthenticated CDN Configuration Takeover via Empty Default Key Bypass and Mass-Assignment in status.json.php

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the CDN plugin endpoints `plugin/CDN/status.json.php` and `plugin/CDN/disable.json.php` use key-based authentication with an empty string default key. When the CDN plugin is enabled but the key has not been configured (the default state), the key validation check is completely bypassed, allowing any unauthenticated attacker to modify the full CDN configuration — including CDN URLs, storage credentials, and the authentication key itself — via mass-assignment through the `par` request parameter. Commit adeff0a31ba04a56f411eef256139fd7ed7d4310 contains a patch.
