MDaemon Email Server 19 through 20.0.1 skips SpamAssassin checks by default for e-mail messages larger than 2 MB (and limits checks to 10 MB even with special configuration), which is arguably inconsistent with currently popular message sizes. This might interfere with risk management for malicious e-mail, if a customer deploys a server with sufficient resources to scan large messages.
Versions of Apache CXF Fediz prior to 1.4.4 do not fully disable Document Type Declarations (DTDs) when either parsing the Identity Provider response in the application plugins, or in the Identity Provider itself when parsing certain XML-based parameters.
An issue was discovered in the _send_secure_msg() function of yubihsm-shell through 2.0.2. The function does not validate the embedded length field of a message received from the device. This could lead to an oversized memcpy() call that will crash the running process. This could be used by an attacker to cause a denial of service.
A carefully crafted invalid TLS handshake can cause Apache Traffic Server (ATS) to segfault. This affects version 6.2.2. To resolve this issue users running 6.2.2 should upgrade to 6.2.3 or later versions.
In Eclipse OpenJ9 prior to the 0.14.0 release, the Java bytecode verifier incorrectly allows a method to execute past the end of bytecode array causing crashes. Eclipse OpenJ9 v0.14.0 correctly detects this case and rejects the attempted class load.
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC TDC CP51M1 (All versions < V1.1.7). An attacker with network access to the device could cause a Denial-of-Service condition by sending a specially crafted UDP packet. The vulnerability affects the UDP communication of the device. The security vulnerability could be exploited without authentication. No user interaction is required to exploit this security vulnerability. Successful exploitation of the security vulnerability compromises availability of the targeted system. At the time of advisory publication no public exploitation of this security vulnerability was known.

Improper input validation in the Kubernetes API server in versions v1.0-1.12 and versions prior to v1.13.12, v1.14.8, v1.15.5, and v1.16.2 allows authorized users to send malicious YAML or JSON payloads, causing the API server to consume excessive CPU or memory, potentially crashing and becoming unavailable. Prior to v1.14.0, default RBAC policy authorized anonymous users to submit requests that could trigger this vulnerability. Clusters upgraded from a version prior to v1.14.0 keep the more permissive policy by default for backwards compatibility.
In Tensorflow before versions 1.15.4, 2.0.3, 2.1.2, 2.2.1 and 2.3.1, the `tf.raw_ops.Switch` operation takes as input a tensor and a boolean and outputs two tensors. Depending on the boolean value, one of the tensors is exactly the input tensor whereas the other one should be an empty tensor. However, the eager runtime traverses all tensors in the output. Since only one of the tensors is defined, the other one is `nullptr`, hence we are binding a reference to `nullptr`. This is undefined behavior and reported as an error if compiling with `-fsanitize=null`. In this case, this results in a segmentation fault The issue is patched in commit da8558533d925694483d2c136a9220d6d49d843c, and is released in TensorFlow versions 1.15.4, 2.0.3, 2.1.2, 2.2.1, or 2.3.1.
An issue was discovered in Suricata 4.1.3. The function process_reply_record_v3 lacks a check for the length of reply.data. It causes an invalid memory access and the program crashes within the nfs/nfs3.rs file.
SWAT 4 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a (1) VERIFYCONTENT or (2) GAMECONFIG command sent to the server before user session initialization, which triggers a NULL pointer dereference; or (3) a GAMESPYRESPONSE command followed by a long RS string.
NaviServer 4.99.4 to 4.99.19 allows denial of service due to the nsd/driver.c ChunkedDecode function not properly validating the length of a chunk. A remote attacker can craft a chunked-transfer request that will result in a negative value being passed to memmove via the size parameter, causing the process to crash.
In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.5 and 2.2.0 to 2.2.13, the VLAN dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-vlan.c by limiting VLAN tag nesting to restrict the recursion depth.
Systematic SitaWare 6.4 SP2 does not validate input from other sources sufficiently. e.g., information utilizing the NVG interface. An attacker can freeze the Situational Layer, which means that the Situational Picture is no longer updated. Unfortunately, the user cannot notice until he tries to work with that layer.
In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.5 and 2.2.0 to 2.2.13, the LWAPP dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-lwapp.c by limiting the encapsulation levels to restrict the recursion depth.
Skulltag 0.97d2-RC2 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon hang) via a series of long, malformed connect packets, related to these packets being "parsed multiple times."
In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.5 and 2.2.0 to 2.2.13, the IEEE 802.15.4 dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-ieee802154.c by ensuring that an allocation step occurs.
There is a reachable abort in the function jpc_dec_process_sot in libjasper/jpc/jpc_dec.c of JasPer 2.0.14 that will lead to a remote denial of service attack by triggering an unexpected jas_alloc2 return value, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-13745.
ntpd in ntp 4.2.8p10, 4.2.8p11, 4.2.8p12 and 4.2.8p13 allow remote attackers to prevent a broadcast client from synchronizing its clock with a broadcast NTP server via soofed mode 3 and mode 5 packets. The attacker must either be a part of the same broadcast network or control a slave in that broadcast network that can capture certain required packets on the attacker's behalf and send them to the attacker.
TwinCAT OPC UA Server in versions up to 2.3.0.12 and IPC Diagnostics UA Server in versions up to 3.1.0.1 from Beckhoff Automation GmbH & Co. KG are vulnerable to denial of service attacks. The attacker needs to send several specifically crafted requests to the running OPC UA server. After some of these requests the OPC UA server is no longer responsive to any client. This is without effect to the real-time functionality of IPCs.
In Wireshark 2.4.0 to 2.4.5, the TCP dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-tcp.c by preserving valid data sources.
Perlbal before 1.70, when buffered upload is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a zero-byte chunked upload.
