All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element.
The Apport hook in Update Manager as used by Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 11.10, and 11.04 uploads certain system state archive files when reporting bugs to Launchpad, which allows remote attackers to read repository credentials by viewing a public bug report.
Moodle has a database activity export permission issue where the export function of the database activity module exports all entries even those from groups the user does not belong to
A content security policy (CSP) "frame-ancestors" directive containing origins with paths allows for comparisons against those paths instead of the origin. This results in a cross-origin information leak of this path information. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 55.
When Private Browsing mode is used, it is possible for a web worker to write persistent data to IndexedDB and fingerprint a user uniquely. IndexedDB should not be available in Private Browsing mode and this stored data will persist across multiple private browsing mode sessions because it is not cleared when exiting. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 52.5.2 and Firefox < 57.0.1.
Android intent URLs given to Firefox for Android can be used to navigate from HTTP or HTTPS URLs to local "file:" URLs, allowing for the reading of local data through a violation of same-origin policy. Note: This attack only affects Firefox for Android. Other operating systems are not affected. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 54.
Same-origin policy protections can be bypassed on pages with embedded iframes during page reloads, allowing the iframes to access content on the top level page, leading to information disclosure. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.3, Firefox ESR < 52.3, and Firefox < 55.
If a document's Referrer Policy attribute is set to "no-referrer" sometimes two network requests are made for "<link>" elements instead of one. One of these requests includes the referrer instead of respecting the set policy to not include a referrer on requests. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 57.

If web content on a page is dragged onto portions of the browser UI, such as the tab bar, links can be opened that otherwise would not be allowed to open. This can allow malicious web content to open a locally stored file through "file:" URLs. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 56.
Video files loaded video captions cross-origin without checking for the presence of CORS headers permitting such cross-origin use, leading to potential information disclosure for video captions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 52, Firefox ESR < 45.8, Thunderbird < 52, and Thunderbird < 45.8.

NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2012-0949.
Data sent with in multipart channels, such as the multipart/x-mixed-replace MIME type, will ignore the referrer-policy response header, leading to potential information disclosure for sites using this header. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 51.
A mechanism to bypass file system access protections in the sandbox to use the file picker to access different files than those selected in the file picker through the use of relative paths. This allows for read only access to the local file system. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.1, Firefox ESR < 52.1, and Firefox < 53.
Hashed codes of JavaScript objects are shared between pages. This allows for pointer leaks because an object's address can be discovered through hash codes, and also allows for data leakage of an object's content using these hash codes. The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes).
