CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N).
A flaw was found in the 'deref' plugin of 389-ds-base where it could use the 'search' permission to display attribute values. In some configurations, this could allow an authenticated attacker to view private attributes, such as password hashes.
The Kubernetes client-go library logs request headers at verbosity levels of 7 or higher. This can disclose credentials to unauthorized users via logs or command output. Kubernetes components (such as kube-apiserver) prior to v1.16.0, which make use of basic or bearer token authentication, and run at high verbosity levels, are affected.
Jenkins Git Changelog Plugin 2.17 and earlier stored credentials unencrypted in job config.xml files on the Jenkins master where they could be viewed by users with Extended Read permission, or access to the master file system.

In the Federation component of OpenStack Keystone before 11.0.4, 12.0.0, and 13.0.0, an authenticated "GET /v3/OS-FEDERATION/projects" request may bypass intended access restrictions on listing projects. An authenticated user may discover projects they have no authority to access, leaking all projects in the deployment and their attributes. Only Keystone with the /v3/OS-FEDERATION endpoint enabled via policy.json is affected.
The oVirt storage backend in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4 does not wipe memory snapshots when deleting a VM, even when wipe-after-delete (WAD) is configured for the VM's disk, which allows remote authenticated users with certain credentials to read portions of the deleted VM's memory and obtain sensitive information via an uninitialized storage volume.

All versions of Samba prior to 4.15.5 are vulnerable to a malicious client using a server symlink to determine if a file or directory exists in an area of the server file system not exported under the share definition. SMB1 with unix extensions has to be enabled in order for this attack to succeed.
ovirt-engine before version 4.1.7.6 with log level set to DEBUG includes passwords in the log file without masking. Only administrators can change the log level and only administrators can access the logs. This presents a risk when debug-level logs are shared with vendors or other parties to troubleshoot issues.
A vulnerability was discovered in oVirt 4.1.x before 4.1.9, where the combination of Enable Discard and Wipe After Delete flags for VM disks managed by oVirt, could cause a disk to be incompletely zeroed when removed from a VM. If the same storage blocks happen to be later allocated to a new disk attached to another VM, potentially sensitive data could be revealed to privileged users of that VM.
An information leak was discovered in postgresql in versions before 13.2, before 12.6 and before 11.11. A user having UPDATE permission but not SELECT permission to a particular column could craft queries which, under some circumstances, might disclose values from that column in error messages. An attacker could use this flaw to obtain information stored in a column they are allowed to write but not read.
Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise 3.2 and 3.1 do not properly validate the origin of a request when anonymous access is granted to a service/proxy or pod/proxy API for a specific pod, which allows remote attackers to access API credentials in the web browser localStorage via an access_token in the query parameter.

A vulnerability was found in Ignition where ignition configs are accessible from unprivileged containers in VMs running on VMware products. This issue is only relevant in user environments where the Ignition config contains secrets. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. Possible workaround is to not put secrets in the Ignition config.

A malicious SCP server can send unexpected paths that could make the client application override local files outside of working directory. This could be misused to create malicious executable or configuration files and make the user execute them under specific consequences. This is the same issue as in OpenSSH, tracked as CVE-2019-6111.
Directory traversal vulnerability in the virStorageBackendFileSystemVolCreate function in storage/storage_backend_fs.c in libvirt, when fine-grained Access Control Lists (ACL) are in effect, allows local users with storage_vol:create ACL but not domain:write permission to write to arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in a volume name.

(dot dot) in an application/x-msnmsgrp2p MSN emoticon (aka custom smiley) request, a related issue to CVE-2004-0122. NOTE: it could be argued that this is resultant from a vulnerability in which an emoticon download request is processed even without a preceding text/x-mms-emoticon message that announced availability of the emoticon.
Jenkins Redpen - Pipeline Reporter for Jira Plugin 1.054.v7b_9517b_6b_202 and earlier does not correctly perform path validation of the workspace directory while uploading artifacts to Jira, allowing attackers with Item/Configure permission to retrieve files present on the Jenkins controller workspace directory.
squashfs_opendir in unsquash-1.c in Squashfs-Tools 4.5 stores the filename in the directory entry; this is then used by unsquashfs to create the new file during the unsquash. The filename is not validated for traversal outside of the destination directory, and thus allows writing to locations outside of the destination.
ClassLoaderTheme and ClasspathThemeResourceProviderFactory allows reading any file available as a resource to the classloader. By sending requests for theme resources with a relative path from an external HTTP client, the client will receive the content of random files if available.
Jenkins Job Configuration History Plugin 1227.v7a_79fc4dc01f and earlier does not restrict the 'name' query parameter when rendering a history entry, allowing attackers to have Jenkins render a manipulated configuration history that was not created by the plugin.
A path traversal vulnerability was identified in Samba when processing client pipe names connecting to Unix domain sockets within a private directory. Samba typically uses this mechanism to connect SMB clients to remote procedure call (RPC) services like SAMR LSA or SPOOLSS, which Samba initiates on demand. However, due to inadequate sanitization of incoming client pipe names, allowing a client to send a pipe name containing Unix directory traversal characters (../). This could result in SMB clients connecting as root to Unix domain sockets outside the private directory. If an attacker or client managed to send a pipe name resolving to an external service using an existing Unix domain socket, it could potentially lead to unauthorized access to the service and consequential adverse events, including compromise or service crashes.
Jenkins MathWorks Polyspace Plugin 1.0.5 and earlier allows attackers with Item/Configure permission to send emails with arbitrary files from the Jenkins controller file systems.
Untrusted search path vulnerability in a certain Red Hat build script for the ibmssh executable in ibutils packages before ibutils-1.5.7-2.el6 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 and ibutils-1.2-11.2.el5 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan Horse program in refix/lib/, related to an incorrect RPATH setting in the ELF header.

A flaw was found in Red Hat JBoss Core Services HTTP Server in all versions, where it does not properly normalize the path component of a request URL contains dot-dot-semicolon(s). This flaw could allow an attacker to access unauthorized information or possibly conduct further attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity.
A directory traversal vulnerability was found in the ClairCore engine of Clair. An attacker can exploit this by supplying a crafted container image which, when scanned by Clair, allows for arbitrary file write on the filesystem, potentially allowing for remote code execution.
