SAP NetWeaver AS for JAVA, versions - 7.20, 7.30, 7.31, 7.40, 7.50, allows an attacker authenticated as an administrator to connect over a network and submit a specially crafted XML file in the application because of missing XML Validation, this vulnerability enables attacker to fully compromise confidentiality by allowing them to read any file on the filesystem or fully compromise availability by causing the system to crash. The attack cannot be used to change any data so that there is no compromise as to integrity.

SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Web Intelligence HTML interface), corrected in versions 4.1 and 4.2, does not sufficiently validate an XML document accepted from an untrusted source. An attacker can craft a message that contains malicious elements that will not be correctly filtered by Web Intelligence HTML interface in some specific workflows.

This occurs as logging service does not disable XML external entities when parsing configuration files and a successful exploit would result in limited impact on integrity and availability of the application.
The XML parser, which is being used by SAP Enable Now, before version 1902, has not been hardened correctly, leading to Missing XML Validation vulnerability. This issue affects the file upload at multiple locations. An attacker can read local XXE files.
SLD Registration in SAP HANA (fixed in versions 1.0, 2.0) does not sufficiently validate an XML document accepted from an untrusted source. The attacker can call SLDREG with an XML file containing a reference to an XML External Entity (XXE). This can cause SLDREG to, for example, continuously loop, read arbitrary files and even send local files.
SAP NetWeaver (Guided Procedures), versions 7.10, 7.11, 7.20, 7.30, 7.31, 7.40, 7.50, does not sufficiently validate an XML document input from a compromised admin, leading to Denial of Service.

SAP NetWeaver AS Java (CAF - Guided Procedures) - version 7.50, allows an unauthenticated attacker to submit a malicious request with a crafted XML file over the network, which when parsed will enable him to access sensitive files and data but not modify them. There are expansion limits in place so that availability is not affected.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Crystal Reports) - versions 420, 430, allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit missing XML validations at endpoints to read sensitive data. These endpoints are normally exposed over the network and successful exploitation can enable the attacker to retrieve arbitrary files from the server.
SLD Registration of ABAP Platform allows an attacker to prevent legitimate users from accessing a service, either by crashing or flooding the service. Fixed in versions KRNL32NUC 7.21, 7.21EXT, 7.22, 7.22EXT,KRNL32UC 7.21, 7.21EXT, 7.22, 7.22EXT, KRNL64NUC 7.21, 7.21EXT, 7.22, 7.22EXT, 7.49,KRNL64UC 7.21, 7.21EXT, 7.22, 7.22EXT, 7.49. 7.73 KERNEL from 7.21 to 7.22, 7.45, 7.49, 7.53, 7.73, 7.75.

The Live Auction Cockpit in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) allows an unauthenticated attacker to submit an application servlet request with a crafted XML file which when parsed, enables the attacker to access sensitive files and data. This vulnerability has a high impact on the application's confidentiality, with no effect on integrity and availability of the application.
SAP Business One (B1i) - version 10.0, allows an authorized attacker to retrieve the details stack trace of the fault message to conduct the XXE injection, which will lead to information disclosure. After successful exploitation, an attacker can cause limited impact on the confidentiality and no impact to the integrity and availability.
The Create Single Payment application of SAP S/4HANA - versions 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, allows an attacker to upload the XML file as an attachment. When clicked on the XML file in the attachment section, the file gets opened in the browser to cause the entity loops to slow down the browser.

The package com.h2database:h2 from 1.4.198 and before 2.0.202 are vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) Injection via the org.h2.jdbc.JdbcSQLXML class object, when it receives parsed string data from org.h2.jdbc.JdbcResultSet.getSQLXML() method. If it executes the getSource() method when the parameter is DOMSource.class it will trigger the vulnerability.
XML External Entity Injection vulnerability in Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (Previously known as Quality Center) product. The vulnerability affects versions 12.x, 12.60 Patch 5 and earlier, 15.0.1 Patch 2 and earlier and 15.5. The vulnerability could be exploited to allow an XML External Entity Injection.
APOC (Awesome Procedures on Cypher) is an add-on library for Neo4j. An XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability found in the apoc.import.graphml procedure of APOC core plugin prior to version 5.5.0 and 4.4.0.14 (4.4 branch) in Neo4j graph database. XML External Entity (XXE) injection occurs when the XML parser allows external entities to be resolved. The XML parser used by the apoc.import.graphml procedure was not configured in a secure way and therefore allowed this. External entities can be used to read local files, send HTTP requests, and perform denial-of-service attacks on the application. Abusing the XXE vulnerability enabled assessors to read local files remotely. Although with the level of privileges assessors had this was limited to one-line files. With the ability to write to the database, any file could have been read. Additionally, assessors noted, with local testing, the server could be crashed by passing in improperly formatted XML. The minimum version containing a patch for this vulnerability is 5.5.0. Those who cannot upgrade the library can control the allowlist of the procedures that can be used in your system.
Numerous Tableau products are vulnerable to XXE via a malicious workbook, extension, or data source, leading to information disclosure or a DoS. This affects Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Reader, and Tableau Public Desktop.
BMC Smart Reporting 7.3 20180418 allows authenticated XXE within the import functionality. One can import a malicious XML file and perform XXE attacks to download local files from the server, or do DoS attacks with XML expansion attacks. XXE with direct response and XXE OOB are allowed.

IBM Cloud Pak for Automation 20.0.2 and 20.0.3 IF002 are vulnerable to an XML External Entity Injection (XXE) attack when processing XML data. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to expose sensitive information or consume memory resources. IBM X-Force ID: 197504.
A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco Firepower Device Manager (FDM) On-Box Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to gain read and write access to information that is stored on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to the improper handling of XML External Entity (XXE) entries when parsing certain XML files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious requests that contain references in XML entities to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to retrieve files from the local system, resulting in the disclosure of sensitive information or causing a partial denial of service (DoS) condition on the affected device.
