In the NFC stack, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation. Product: AndroidVersions: Android-10Android ID: A-121267042

MITRE is populating this ID because it was assigned prior to Lenovo becoming a CNA. A race condition was reported (fixed and publicly disclosed in 2015) in Lenovo System Update version 5.07.0008 and prior that could allow a user to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
The pit_ioport_read in i8254.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.33 and QEMU before 2.3.1 does not distinguish between read lengths and write lengths, which might allow guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the host OS by triggering use of an invalid index.
Race condition in Lenovo System Update (formerly ThinkVantage System Update) before 5.06.0034 uses world-writable permissions for the update files directory, which allows local users to gain privileges by writing to an update file after the signature is validated.
In showCarrierAppInstallationNotification of EuiccNotificationManager.java, there is a possible way to gain an access to MediaProvider content due to an unsafe PendingIntent. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-10 Android-11 Android-12 Android-9Android ID: A-194695347
In dispatchGraphTerminationMessage() of packages/services/Car/computepipe/runner/graph/StreamSetObserver.cpp, there is a possible use after free due to a race condition. A vulnerability in Google Cloud Platform's guest-oslogin versions between 20190304 and 20200507 allows a user that is only granted the role "roles/compute.osLogin" to escalate privileges to root. Using their membership to the "docker" group, an attacker with this role is able to run docker and mount the host OS. Within docker, it is possible to modify the host OS filesystem and modify /etc/groups to gain administrative privileges. All images created after 2020-May-07 (20200507) are fixed, and if you cannot update, we recommend you edit /etc/group/security.conf and remove the "docker" user from the OS Login entry.
A DLL search path vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Drivers Management prior to version 2.7.1128.1046 that could allow an authenticated user to execute code with elevated privileges.
