Home Assistant is open source home automation software that puts local control and privacy first. Prior to 2025.5.0, The iOS companion app ignores the SSID allowlist for internal networks. The app uses SSID to detect when to use the internal URL, but whenever the app cannot find any other URL to be used, it fallbacks to the internal URL as well, which can expose user's token when connected to a not secure network. This vulnerability is fixed in 2025.5.0.
Home Assistant before 0.67.0 was vulnerable to an information disclosure that allowed an unauthenticated attacker to read the application's error log via components/api.py.
Home Assistant before 2021.1.3 does not have a protection layer that can help to prevent directory-traversal attacks against custom integrations. NOTE: the vendor's perspective is that the vulnerability itself is in custom integrations written by third parties, not in Home Assistant; however, Home Assistant does have a security update that is worthwhile in addressing this situation
The NPSVG3.dll ActiveX control for Adobe SVG Viewer 3.02 and earlier, when running on Internet Explorer, allows remote attackers to determine the existence of arbitrary files by setting the src property to the target filename and using Javascript to determine if the web page immediately stops loading, which indicates whether the file exists or not.
The firewall in Astaro Security Linux before 4.024 sends responses to SYN-FIN packets, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain information about the system and construct specialized attacks.

Fixed in v1.5.1, Argo version v1.5.0 was vulnerable to a user-enumeration vulnerability which allowed attackers to determine the usernames of valid (non-SSO) accounts because /api/v1/session returned 401 for an existing username and 404 otherwise.
The private-key operations in ecc.c in wolfSSL before 4.4.0 do not use a constant-time modular inverse when mapping to affine coordinates, aka a "projective coordinates leak."
Citrix ShareFile before 19.12 allows User Enumeration. It is possible to enumerate application username based on different server responses using the request to check the otp code. No authentication is required.
PF in OpenBSD 3.0 with the return-rst rule sets the TTL to 128 in the RST packet, which allows remote attackers to determine if a port is being filtered because the TTL is different than the default TTL.

String::Compare::ConstantTime for Perl through 0.321 is vulnerable to timing attacks that allow an attacker to guess the length of a secret string. As stated in the documentation: "If the lengths of the strings are different, because equals returns false right away the size of the secret string may be leaked (but not its contents)." This is similar to CVE-2020-36829
In BIG-IP 11.5.1-11.5.8 and 11.6.1-11.6.3, the Configuration Utility login page may not follow best security practices when handling a malicious request.
One-Time Passwords In Everything (a.k.a OPIE) 2.32 and 2.4 allows remote attackers to determine the existence of user accounts by printing random passphrases if the user account does not exist and static passphrases if the user account does exist.
AmTote International homebet program returns different error messages when invalid account numbers and PIN codes are provided, which allows remote attackers to determine the existence of valid account numbers via a brute force attack.
IBM Guardium Data Encryption (GDE) 5.0.0.2 behaves differently or sends different responses under different circumstances in a way that is observable to an unauthorized actor, which could facilitate username enumeration. IBM X-Force ID: 213856.
RSA BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition versions prior to 4.1.4 and RSA Micro Edition Suite versions prior to 4.4 are vulnerable to an Information Exposure Through Timing Discrepancy. A malicious remote user could potentially exploit this vulnerability to extract information leaving data at risk of exposure.

TrevorC2 v1.1/v1.2 fails to prevent fingerprinting primarily via a discrepancy between response headers when responding to different HTTP methods, also via predictible responses when accessing and interacting with the "SITE_PATH_QUERY".
An issue was discovered in Symfony 4.2.0 to 4.2.11 and 4.3.0 to 4.3.7. The ability to enumerate users was possible due to different handling depending on whether the user existed when making unauthorized attempts to use the switch users functionality. This is related to symfony/security.
The Reset Password feature in Pagekit 1.0.17 gives a different response depending on whether the e-mail address of a valid user account is entered, which might make it easier for attackers to enumerate accounts.
An issue was discovered in ConnectWise Control (formerly known as ScreenConnect) 19.3.25270.7185. There is a user enumeration vulnerability, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to determine with certainty if an account exists for a given username.
The Page Restriction WordPress (WP) – Protect WP Pages/Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.6 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as administrator.

CyberArk Identity 21.5.131, when handling an invalid authentication attempt, sometimes reveals whether the username is valid. In certain authentication policy configurations with MFA, the API response length can be used to differentiate between a valid user and an invalid one (aka Username Enumeration). Response differentiation enables attackers to enumerate usernames of valid application users. Attackers can use this information to leverage brute-force and dictionary attacks in order to discover valid account information such as passwords.
An Information Exposure issue (issue 2 of 2) was discovered in GitLab Community and Enterprise Edition before 11.7.8, 11.8.x before 11.8.4, and 11.9.x before 11.9.2. During the OAuth authentication process, the application attempts to validate a parameter in an insecure way, potentially exposing data.
A vulnerability was found in GnuTLS. The response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from the response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding. This issue may allow a remote attacker to perform a timing side-channel attack in the RSA-PSK key exchange, potentially leading to the leakage of sensitive data. CVE-2024-0553 is designated as an incomplete resolution for CVE-2023-5981.
In mymbCONNECT24, mbCONNECT24 <= 2.9.0 an unauthenticated user can enumerate valid backend users by checking what kind of response the server sends for crafted invalid login attempts.
Joomla com_booking component 2.4.9 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate user accounts by exploiting the getUserData function in the customer controller. Attackers can send GET requests to index.php with option=com_booking, controller=customer, task=getUserData, and an id parameter to retrieve user names, usernames, and email addresses through brute force enumeration.

In Bromite through 78.0.3904.130, there are adblock rules in the release APK; therefore, probing which resources are blocked and which aren't can identify the application version and defeat the User-Agent protection mechanism.
_account_forgot_password.ajax.php in MFScripts YetiShare 3.5.2 through 4.5.3 takes a different amount of time to return depending on whether an email address is configured for the account name provided. This can be used by an attacker to enumerate accounts by guessing email addresses.
In the Voatz application 2020-01-01 for Android, the amount of data transmitted during a single voter's vote depends on the different lengths of the metadata across the available voting choices, which makes it easier for remote attackers to discover this voter's choice by sniffing the network. For example, a small amount of sniffed data may indicate that a vote was cast for the candidate with the least metadata. An active man-in-the-middle attacker can leverage this behavior to disrupt voters' abilities to vote for a candidate opposed by the attacker.
The Poll Maker WordPress plugin before 3.4.2 allows unauthenticated users to perform SQL injection via the ays_finish_poll AJAX action. While the result is not disclosed in the response, it is possible to use a timing attack to exfiltrate data such as password hash.
