The Yodobashi application 1.2.1.0 and earlier for Android allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Java methods, and consequently obtain sensitive information or execute OS commands, via a crafted HTML document.
The open_generic_xdg_mime function in xdg-open in xdg-utils 1.1.0 rc1 in Debian, when using dash, does not properly handle local variables, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted file.
Eval injection vulnerability in xdg-utils 1.1.0 RC1, when no supported desktop environment is identified, allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via the URL argument to xdg-open.
Arr-pm is an RPM reader/writer library written in Ruby. Versions prior to 0.0.12 are subject to OS command injection resulting in shell execution if the RPM contains a malicious "payload compressor" field. This vulnerability impacts the `extract` and `files` methods of the `RPM::File` class of this library. Version 0.0.12 patches these issues. A workaround for this issue is to ensure any RPMs being processed contain valid/known payload compressor values such as gzip, bzip2, xz, zstd, and lzma. The payload compressor field in an rpm can be checked by using the rpm command line tool.
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. Safari before 11.0.2 is affected. The issue involves the "WebKit Web Inspector" component. It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via special characters that trigger command injection.
An issue was discovered in the dces crate through 2020-12-09 for Rust. The World type is marked as Send but lacks bounds on its EntityStore and ComponentStore.
An issue was discovered in SmarterTools SmarterMail through 100.0.7537. Meddler-in-the-middle attackers can pipeline commands after a POP3 STLS command, injecting plaintext commands into an encrypted user session.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Bitdefender SafePay 23.0.10.34. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the processing of tiscript. When processing the System.Exec method the application does not properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-7234.
