Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to version 3.1.1 of the `stable` branch and version 3.2.0.beta1 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches, a malicious user could add a 2FA or security key with a carefully crafted name to their account and cause a denial of service for other users. The issue is patched in version 3.1.1 of the `stable` branch and version 3.2.0.beta1 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. There are no known workarounds.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to version 3.1.1 of the `stable` branch and version 3.2.0.beta1 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches, a malicious user can create an unlimited number of drafts with very long draft keys which may end up exhausting the resources on the server. The issue is patched in version 3.1.1 of the `stable` branch and version 3.2.0.beta1 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. There are no known workarounds.
Due to multiple time-of-check time-of-use race conditions in the resource count check and increment logic, as well as missing validations, users of the platform are able to exceed the allocation limits configured for their accounts/domains. This can be used by an attacker to degrade the infrastructure's resources and lead to denial of service conditions. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache CloudStack versions 4.20.3.0 or 4.22.0.1, or later, which fixes this issue.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.7 before 17.10.8, 17.11 before 17.11.4, and 18.0 before 18.0.2. Improper input validation in Tokens Names could be used to trigger a denial of service.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.3 before 18.9.7, 18.10 before 18.10.6, and 18.11 before 18.11.3 that could have allowed an authenticated user to cause denial of service through excessive memory consumption due to improper input validation.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.13 before 17.10.7, 17.11 before 17.11.3, and 18.0 before 18.0.1. A lack of input validation in Board Names could be used to trigger a denial of service.
Using a densely populated chars mask and a large input string in the MongoDB aggregation operators $trim, $ltrim, and $rtrim, an authenticated user with aggregation permissions can pin CPU utilization at 100% for an extended period of time. This issue impacts MongoDB Server v7.0 versions prior to 7.0.34, v8.0 versions prior to 8.0.23, v8.2 versions prior to 8.2.9 and v8.3 versions prior to 8.3.2.
An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability [CWE-770] in FortiPAM 1.0 all versions allows an authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service attack via sending crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests in a high frequency.
IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes DB2 Connect Server) 11.5.0 - 11.5.9 could allow an authenticated user to cause a denial of service when given specially crafted query.
Discourse is an open source discussion platform. Prior to version 3.0.6 of the `stable` branch and version 3.1.0.beta7 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches, a malicious user can prevent the defer queue from proceeding promptly on sites hosted in the same multisite installation. The issue is patched in version 3.0.6 of the `stable` branch and version 3.1.0.beta7 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. Users of multisite configurations should upgrade.
OpenClaw versions before 2026.6.1 contain a denial of service vulnerability where remote media URLs can trigger slow-read attacks that exhaust gateway worker resources. Attackers with access to configured input paths can supply remote media URLs that consume gateway resources and reduce availability.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.14 before 18.0.6, 18.1 before 18.1.4, and 18.2 before 18.2.2 that could have allowed an unauthenticated user to create a denial of service condition by sending specially crafted payloads to specific integration API endpoints.
Mattermost versions 10.11.x <= 10.11.8 fail to validate input size before processing hashtags which allows an authenticated attacker to exhaust CPU resources via a single HTTP request containing a post with thousands space-separated tokens
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. From 0.22.0 to 0.23.0, the /v1/audio/transcriptions and /v1/audio/translations routes call request.file.read() to fully materialize an uploaded audio file into memory before vLLM checks the documented VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB compressed upload size limit (default 25 MB) later in the speech-to-text preprocessing step, so an API caller who can reach those routes can submit an oversized multipart upload and cause vLLM to allocate memory proportional to the uploaded file size before the request is rejected as too large, creating memory pressure or terminating the process depending on deployment resource limits. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.0.
Coder allows organizations to provision remote development environments via Terraform. Starting in version 2.17.0 and prior to versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2, `POST /api/v2/files` converts zip uploads to tar in memory via `CreateTarFromZip`, which enforced a per-entry size limit but no aggregate limit on total decompressed output, writing to an unbounded in-memory buffer. Exploitation requires authenticated file-upload access and the impact is limited to availability (denial of service). The fix in versions 2.29.7, 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2 adds a metadata preflight check that sums projected entry sizes and a streaming writer that enforces the aggregate limit during decompression. As a workaround, restrict file-upload permissions to trusted users or place a reverse proxy with request-body size limits in front of `coderd`.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CWE-770) in Fleet Server can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An attacker can submit a specially crafted request to an upload endpoint that causes excessive memory consumption, which may render Fleet Server unavailable.
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2025-7105 added forkIpLimiter and forkUserLimiter rate limiters to POST /api/convos/fork to prevent rapid-fire conversation duplication. However, the POST /api/convos/duplicate endpoint — which is in the same file and performs the exact same expensive database operations — was not given any rate limiter. An authenticated user can bypass the CVE-2025-7105 fix by using /duplicate instead of /fork to exhaust server resources. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.
LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2024-11171 (commit bb58a2d0) added limits: { fileSize } to createMulterInstance() in the file upload routes. However, the POST /api/convos/import endpoint uses a separate multer instance that was never updated with the same limits configuration. Combined with the application-level size check being disabled by default (the CONVERSATION_IMPORT_MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES env var is commented out in .env.example), an authenticated user can upload arbitrarily large files to exhaust server disk space and memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1.
Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool. From version 1.0.0 to before version 2.2.0, the Nezha dashboard exposes two endpoints that create long-lived WebSocket streams to monitored agents: POST /api/v1/terminal → createTerminal() (terminal.go:27-67) and POST /api/v1/file → createFM() (fm.go:28-67). Both call rpc.NezhaHandlerSingleton.CreateStream(streamId, ...) which inserts a new ioStreamContext into an unbounded map[string]*ioStreamContext (s.ioStreams in io_stream.go:59-67). There is no per-user rate limit, no global semaphore, and no per-server connection cap. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.0.
A vulnerability was found in wallabag 2.5.4. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /config of the component Profile Config. The manipulation of the argument Name leads to allocation of resources. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-233359. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 6.3 before 18.4.6, 18.5 before 18.5.4, and 18.6 before 18.6.2 that could have allowed an authenticated user to cause a Denial of Service condition by sending crafted API calls with large content parameters.
A flaw was found in CRI-O that involves an experimental annotation leading to a container being unconfined. This may allow a pod to specify and get any amount of memory/cpu, circumventing the kubernetes scheduler and potentially resulting in a denial of service in the node.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Apache Software Foundation Apache Struts. This issue affects Apache Struts: through 2.5.30, through 6.1.2. Upgrade to Struts 2.5.31 or 6.1.2.1 or greater.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CWE-770) in Kibana can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user can submit a specially crafted bulk deletion request that causes excessive resource consumption, which may render Kibana unavailable.
Mattermost versions 10.11.x <= 10.11.8, 11.1.x <= 11.1.1, 11.0.x <= 11.0.6 fail to prevent infinite re-renders on API errors which allows authenticated users to cause application-level DoS via triggering unbounded component re-render loops.
An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories SEL-451 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to make the system unavailable for an indefinite amount of time. See product Instruction Manual Appendix A dated 20230830 for more details.
MeterSphere is an open source continuous testing platform. Version 2.9.1 and prior are vulnerable to denial of service. The `checkUserPassword` method is used to check whether the password provided by the user matches the password saved in the database, and the `CodingUtil.md5` method is used to encrypt the original password with MD5 to ensure that the password will not be saved in plain text when it is stored. If a user submits a very long password when logging in, the system will be forced to execute the long password MD5 encryption process, causing the server CPU and memory to be exhausted, thereby causing a denial of service attack on the server. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.0-lts with a maximum password length.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CWE-770) in Kibana can allow a low-privileged authenticated user to cause Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130) of computing resources and a denial of service (DoS) of the Kibana process via a crafted HTTP request.
Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, twig/intl-extra memoises IntlDateFormatter and NumberFormatter instances in arrays keyed by template-controlled filter arguments such as locale, pattern, and attrs, allowing a template to allocate many ICU formatter objects that remain pinned for the lifetime of the Twig\Environment. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0.
IBM Aspera Shares 1.9.9 through 1.11.0 does not properly rate limit the frequency that an authenticated user can send emails, which could result in email flooding or a denial of service.
Wyse Management Suite versions prior to 4.0 contain a denial-of-service vulnerability. An authenticated malicious user can flood the configured SMTP server with numerous requests in order to deny access to the system.
Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to version 1.6.5, Authlib’s JWE zip=DEF path performs unbounded DEFLATE decompression. A very small ciphertext can expand into tens or hundreds of megabytes on decrypt, allowing an attacker who can supply decryptable tokens to exhaust memory and CPU and cause denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.5. Workarounds for this issue involve rejecting or stripping zip=DEF for inbound JWEs at the application boundary, forking and add a bounded decompression guard via decompressobj().decompress(data, MAX_SIZE)) and returning an error when output exceeds a safe limit, or enforcing strict maximum token sizes and fail fast on oversized inputs; combine with rate limiting.
NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to 2026.04.4, the uploadViaURL path in the v1/v2 attachment API did not enforce NC_ATTACHMENT_FIELD_SIZE against the remote content-length or against the response stream. An authenticated user (Editor+) could direct the server to download arbitrarily large files, exhausting disk space and causing denial of service. In packages/nocodb/src/services/attachments.service.ts, the HEAD probe read content-length but never compared it to NC_ATTACHMENT_FIELD_SIZE; the subsequent storageAdapter.fileCreateByUrl() performed the download without maxContentLength. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.04.4.
IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 is vulnerable to denial of service with a specially crafted query.
