luci-app-adblock-fast before 1.2.4-4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the blocklist name field that allows lower-privileged users to inject active HTML. When an administrator views the AdBlock Fast status page, the injected payload executes in the administrator's browser under the LuCI origin.
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Web Interface for OpenWRT LuCI version 19.07 which allows attackers to inject arbitrary Javascript in the OpenWRT Hostname via the Hostname Change operation.
LuCI in OpenWrt 18.06.0 through 18.06.4 allows stored XSS via a crafted SSID.
OpenWrt 18.06.4 allows XSS via the "New port forward" Name field to the cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/firewall/forwards URI (this can occur, for example, on a TP-Link Archer C7 device).
OpenWrt 18.06.4 allows XSS via these Name fields to the cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/firewall/rules URI: "Open ports on router" and "New forward rule" and "New Source NAT" (this can occur, for example, on a TP-Link Archer C7 device).

OpenWrt is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to 25.12.5, odhcpd writes a DHCPv6 client FQDN option 39 hostname into /tmp/odhcpd.leases through src/statefiles.c statefiles_write_state6() and statefiles_write_state4() without escaping, allowing newline injection of forged lease lines that LuCI rpcd-mod-luci getDHCPLeases displays through htdocs/luci-static/resources/view/status/include/40_dhcp.js and htdocs/luci-static/resources/luci.js dom.append as live HTML in the Active DHCPv6 Leases admin page. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.12.5.
The Web Interface for OpenWRT LuCI version 19.07 and lower has been discovered to have a cross-site scripting vulnerability.
LuCI versions fail to properly encode DHCPv6 lease hostnames before rendering in status tables, allowing adjacent network attackers to inject HTML markup. Attackers can send a DHCPv6 Client FQDN containing script tags that execute in the administrator's browser when viewing DHCP lease pages.
luci-app-https-dns-proxy contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the resolver_url parameter that allows authenticated users to inject active HTML. When an administrator views the HTTPS DNS Proxy status page, the resolver URL is rendered as raw HTML and executes JavaScript in the administrator's browser origin.
luci-app-upnp contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated LAN clients to inject JavaScript via UPnP IGD AddPortMapping SOAP requests. Attackers can send malicious HTML in the NewPortMappingDescription field, which miniupnpd stores and luci-app-upnp renders without output encoding, executing the payload when administrators view the UPnP or Status pages.
There is missing input validation of host names displayed in OpenWrt before 19.07.8. The Connection Status page of the luci web-interface allows XSS, which can be used to gain full control over the affected system via ICMP.
LuCI is the OpenWrt Configuration Interface. Versions prior to both 24.10.5 and 25.12.0, contain a stored XSS vulnerability in the wireless scan modal, where SSID values from scan results are rendered as raw HTML without any sanitization. The wireless.js file in the luci-mod-network package passes SSIDs via a template literal to dom.append(), which processes them through innerHTML, allowing an attacker to craft a malicious SSID containing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript. Exploitation requires the user to actively open the wireless scan modal (e.g., to connect to a Wi-Fi access point or survey nearby channels), and only affects OpenWrt versions newer than 23.05/22.03 up to the patched releases (24.10.6 and 25.12.1). The issue has been fixed in version LuCI 26.072.65753~068150b.
cgi_handle_request in uhttpd in OpenWrt through 18.06.1 and LEDE through 17.01 has unauthenticated reflected XSS via the URI, as demonstrated by a cgi-bin/?[XSS] URI.
An XSS issue was discovered in the google_for_jobs (aka Google for Jobs) extension before 1.5.1 and 2.x before 2.1.1 for TYPO3. The extension fails to properly encode user input for output in HTML context. A TYPO3 backend user account is required to exploit the vulnerability.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface. This vulnerability is due to the web-based management interface not properly validating user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by by persuading a user of the interface to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information.

Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Ajax.NET Professional (AjaxPro) is an AJAX framework available for Microsoft ASP.NET. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to JavaScript object injection which may result in cross site scripting when leveraged by a malicious user. The affected core relates to JavaScript object creation when parsing json input. Releases before version 21.12.22.1 are affected. A workaround exists that replaces one of the core JavaScript files embedded in the library. See the GHSA-5q7q-qqw2-hjq7 for workaround details.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with minimal permissions like subscribers, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. In versions prior to 6.5.4, there is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability within the GroupEditor.php page of the application. When a user attempts to create a group role, they can execute malicious JavaScript. However, for this to work, the user must have permission to view and modify groups in the application. Version 6.5.4 fixes the issue.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in ChurchCRM versions 6.4.0 and prior that allows a low-privilege user with the “Manage Groups” permission to inject persistent JavaScript into group role names. The payload is saved in the database and executed whenever any user (including administrators) views a page that displays that role, such as GroupView.php or PersonView.php. This allows full session hijacking and account takeover. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.

Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.20 and earlier are affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Wiki.js is a wiki app built on Node.js. Wiki.js versions 2.5.257 and earlier are vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting through a SVG file upload. By creating a crafted SVG file, a malicious Wiki.js user may stage a stored cross-site scripting attack. This allows the attacker to execute malicious JavaScript when the SVG is viewed directly by other users. Scripts do not execute when loaded inside a page via normal `<img>` tags. Commit 5d3e81496fba1f0fbd64eeb855f30f69a9040718 fixes this vulnerability by adding an optional (enabled by default) SVG sanitization step to all file uploads that match the SVG mime type. As a workaround, disable file upload for all non-trusted users. Wiki.js version 2.5.260 is the first production version to contain a patch. Version 2.5.258 is the first development build to contain a patch and is available only as a Docker image as requarks/wiki:canary-2.5.258.
