The Web Interface for OpenWRT LuCI version 19.07 and lower has been discovered to have a cross-site scripting vulnerability.
cgi_handle_request in uhttpd in OpenWrt through 18.06.1 and LEDE through 17.01 has unauthenticated reflected XSS via the URI, as demonstrated by a cgi-bin/?[XSS] URI.
OpenWrt is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to 25.12.5, odhcpd writes a DHCPv6 client FQDN option 39 hostname into /tmp/odhcpd.leases through src/statefiles.c statefiles_write_state6() and statefiles_write_state4() without escaping, allowing newline injection of forged lease lines that LuCI rpcd-mod-luci getDHCPLeases displays through htdocs/luci-static/resources/view/status/include/40_dhcp.js and htdocs/luci-static/resources/luci.js dom.append as live HTML in the Active DHCPv6 Leases admin page. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.12.5.
LuCI versions fail to properly encode DHCPv6 lease hostnames before rendering in status tables, allowing adjacent network attackers to inject HTML markup. Attackers can send a DHCPv6 Client FQDN containing script tags that execute in the administrator's browser when viewing DHCP lease pages.
luci-app-https-dns-proxy contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the resolver_url parameter that allows authenticated users to inject active HTML. When an administrator views the HTTPS DNS Proxy status page, the resolver URL is rendered as raw HTML and executes JavaScript in the administrator's browser origin.
luci-app-adblock-fast before 1.2.4-4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the blocklist name field that allows lower-privileged users to inject active HTML. When an administrator views the AdBlock Fast status page, the injected payload executes in the administrator's browser under the LuCI origin.
luci-app-upnp contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated LAN clients to inject JavaScript via UPnP IGD AddPortMapping SOAP requests. Attackers can send malicious HTML in the NewPortMappingDescription field, which miniupnpd stores and luci-app-upnp renders without output encoding, executing the payload when administrators view the UPnP or Status pages.
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Web Interface for OpenWRT LuCI version 19.07 which allows attackers to inject arbitrary Javascript in the OpenWRT Hostname via the Hostname Change operation.
LuCI in OpenWrt 18.06.0 through 18.06.4 allows stored XSS via a crafted SSID.
OpenWrt 18.06.4 allows XSS via the "New port forward" Name field to the cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/firewall/forwards URI (this can occur, for example, on a TP-Link Archer C7 device).
OpenWrt 18.06.4 allows XSS via these Name fields to the cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/firewall/rules URI: "Open ports on router" and "New forward rule" and "New Source NAT" (this can occur, for example, on a TP-Link Archer C7 device).
LuCI is the OpenWrt Configuration Interface. Versions prior to both 24.10.5 and 25.12.0, contain a stored XSS vulnerability in the wireless scan modal, where SSID values from scan results are rendered as raw HTML without any sanitization. The wireless.js file in the luci-mod-network package passes SSIDs via a template literal to dom.append(), which processes them through innerHTML, allowing an attacker to craft a malicious SSID containing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript. Exploitation requires the user to actively open the wireless scan modal (e.g., to connect to a Wi-Fi access point or survey nearby channels), and only affects OpenWrt versions newer than 23.05/22.03 up to the patched releases (24.10.6 and 25.12.1). The issue has been fixed in version LuCI 26.072.65753~068150b.
LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.361.69894-438c598 was discovered to contain a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the component /openvpn/pageswitch.htm.
LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.361.69894-438c598 was discovered to contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the component /system/sshkeys.js.
OpenWRT LuCI version git-22.140.66206-02913be was discovered to contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the component /system/sshkeys.js. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via crafted public key comments.
OpenWrt 21.02.1 allows XSS via the Traffic Rules Name screen.
OpenWrt 21.02.1 allows XSS via the NAT Rules Name screen.
OpenWrt 21.02.1 allows XSS via the Port Forwards Add Name screen.
The Product Delivery Date for WooCommerce – Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This is only exploitable when notices are present.
The Forms for Mailchimp by Optin Cat – Grow Your MailChimp List plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.7. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Roundcube before 1.3.17 and 1.4.x before 1.4.12 is prone to XSS in handling an attachment's filename extension when displaying a MIME type warning message.
WebAdmin Control Panel in Atmail 6.5.0 (a version released in 2012) allows XSS via the format parameter to the default URI. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer
There is a stored cross site scripting issue in Esri ArcGIS Server 11.4 and earlier on Windows and Linux that in some configurations allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to store files that contain malicious code that may execute in the context of a victim’s browser.
AEM's Cloud Service offering, as well as version 6.5.10.0 (and below) are affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Workerman-ThinkPHP-Redis (last update Mar 16, 2018) is affected by a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. In file Controller.class.php, the exit function will terminate the script and print the message to the user. The message will contain $_GET{C('VAR_JSONP_HANDLER')] then there is a XSS vulnerability.

Lychee-v3 3.2.16 is affected by a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in php/Access/Guest.php. The function exit will terminate the script and print the message to the user. The message will contain albumID which is controlled by the user.
The authentication endpoint accepts user-supplied input without enforcing expected validation constraints, leading to a lack of proper output encoding. This allows for the injection of malicious JavaScript payloads, enabling reflected cross-site scripting. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to redirect the user's browser to a malicious website, modify the user interface of the web page, retrieve information from the browser, or cause other harmful actions. However, due to the protection of session-related cookies with the httpOnly flag, session hijacking is not possible.

dzzoffice 2.02.1_SC_UTF8 is affected by a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in explorerfile.php. The output of the exit function is printed for the user via exit(json_encode($return)).
Orejime is a consent manager that focuses on accessibility. On HTML elements handled by Orejime prior to version 2.3.2, one could run malicious code by embedding `javascript:` code within data attributes. When consenting to the related purpose, Orejime would turn data attributes into unprefixed ones (i.e. `data-href` into `href`), thus executing the code. This shouldn't have any impact on most setups, as elements handled by Orejime are generally hardcoded. The problem would only arise if somebody could inject HTML code within pages. The problem has been patched in version 2.3.2. As a workaround, the problem can be fixed outside of Orejime by sanitizing attributes which could contain executable code.
Affected versions of Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript via a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /rest/collectors/1.0/template/custom endpoint. To exploit this issue, the attacker must trick a user into visiting a malicious website. The affected versions are before version 8.13.15, and from version 8.14.0 before 8.20.3.
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('Cross-site Scripting') (CWE-79) allows an unauthenticated user to embed a malicious script in content that will be served to web browsers causing cross-site scripting (XSS) (CAPEC-63) via a vulnerability a function handler in the Vega AST evaluator.
