lib/support/unicodeconv/unicodeconv.c in libotfcc.a in otfcc v0.10.3-alpha has a buffer over-read.
read_header_tga in gd_tga.c in the GD Graphics Library (aka LibGD) through 2.3.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted TGA file.
Repeated writes to history interface attributes could have been used to cause a Denial of Service condition in the browser. This was addressed by introducing rate-limiting to this API. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 132, Firefox ESR < 128.4, Thunderbird < 128.4, and Thunderbird < 132.
tif_luv.c in libtiff allows attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds reads) via a crafted TIFF image.
SSH dissector crash in Wireshark 4.0.0 to 4.0.10 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
The gif_next_LZW function in libnsgif.c in Libnsgif 0.1.2 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash) via a crafted LZW stream in a GIF file.
An Incorrect Access Control vulnerability exists in libde265 v1.0.8 due to a SEGV in slice.cc.
Exiv2 is a command-line utility and C++ library for reading, writing, deleting, and modifying the metadata of image files. An out-of-bounds read was found in Exiv2 versions v0.27.3 and earlier. The out-of-bounds read is triggered when Exiv2 is used to write metadata into a crafted image file. An attacker could potentially exploit the vulnerability to cause a denial of service by crashing Exiv2, if they can trick the victim into running Exiv2 on a crafted image file. Note that this bug is only triggered when writing the metadata, which is a less frequently used Exiv2 operation than reading the metadata. For example, to trigger the bug in the Exiv2 command-line application, you need to add an extra command-line argument such as insert. The bug is fixed in version v0.27.4.
Ming 0.4.8 has an out-of-bounds buffer access issue in the function decompileINCR_DECR() in decompiler.c file that causes a direct segmentation fault and leads to denial of service.
Ming 0.4.8 has an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the function decompileIF() in the decompile.c file that causes a direct segmentation fault and leads to denial of service.
Ming 0.4.8 has an out-of-bounds buffer overwrite issue in the function getName() in decompiler.c file that causes a direct segmentation fault and leads to denial of service.
Ming 0.4.8 has an out-of-bounds buffer access issue in the function getString() in decompiler.c file that causes a direct segmentation fault and leads to denial of service.
An issue was discovered in ezXML 0.8.3 through 0.8.6. The function ezxml_decode, while parsing crafted a XML file, performs incorrect memory handling, leading to a heap-based buffer over-read in the "normalize line endings" feature.
An issue was discovered in ezXML 0.8.3 through 0.8.6. The function ezxml_decode, while parsing a crafted XML file, performs incorrect memory handling, leading to a heap-based buffer over-read while running strchr() starting with a pointer after a '\0' character (where the processing of a string was finished).
In libIEC61850 1.4.0, getNumberOfElements in mms/iso_mms/server/mms_access_result.c has an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, related to bufPos and elementLength.
