A vulnerability was found in Netegrity SiteMinder up to 4.5.1 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the file /siteminderagent/pwcgi/smpwservicescgi.exe of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument target leads to an open redirect. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer
An open redirect is present on the gateway's login page, which could cause a user to be redirected to a malicious site after logging in.
This affects the package github.com/gophish/gophish before 0.12.0. The Open Redirect vulnerability exists in the next query parameter. The application uses url.Parse(r.FormValue("next")) to extract path and eventually redirect user to a relative URL, but if next parameter starts with multiple backslashes like \\\\\\example.com, browser will redirect user to http://example.com.
The mirror-registry doesn't properly sanitize the host header HTTP header in HTTP request received, allowing an attacker to perform malicious redirects to attacker-controlled domains or phishing campaigns.
The URL scheme used by Firefox to facilitate searching of text queries could incorrectly allow attackers to open arbitrary website URLs or internal pages if a user was tricked into clicking a link This vulnerability affects Firefox for iOS < 141.
SummaryThis advisory addresses an Open Redirection vulnerability in Mautic's user unlocking endpoint. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to redirect legitimate users to malicious websites, potentially leading to phishing attacks or the delivery of exploit kits. Open Redirection via returnUrl Parameter: An Open Redirection vulnerability exists in the /s/action/unlock/user.user/0 endpoint. The returnUrl parameter, intended for post-action redirection, is not properly validated. This allows an attacker to craft a URL that, when clicked by a user, redirects them to an arbitrary external website controlled by the attacker. MitigationUpdate Mautic to a version that properly validates or sanitizes the returnUrl parameter to ensure that redirects only occur to trusted, internal URLs or explicitly whitelisted domains.
An open redirect vulnerability in the administrative interface of the B. Braun Melsungen AG SpaceCom device Version L81/U61 and earlier, and the Data module compactplus Versions A10 and A11 allows attackers to redirect users to malicious websites.
Insufficient policy enforcement in service workers in Google Chrome prior to 74.0.3729.108 allowed a remote attacker to bypass navigation restrictions via a crafted HTML page.
Malicious websites utilizing a server-side redirect to an internal error page could result in a spoofed website URL This vulnerability affects Firefox for iOS < 136.
Novu provides an API for sending notifications through multiple channels. Versions prior to 0.16.0 contain an open redirect vulnerability in the "Sign In with GitHub" functionality of Novu's open-source repository. It could have allowed an attacker to force a victim into opening a malicious URL and thus, potentially log into the repository under the victim's account gaining full control of the account. This vulnerability only affected the Novu Cloud and Open-Source deployments if the user manually enabled the GitHub OAuth on their self-hosted instance of Novu. Users should upgrade to version 0.16.0 to receive a patch.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers redirect users to an external resource on affected installations of Tencent WeChat Prior to 7.0.9. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must be within a chat session together with the attacker. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of a users profile. The issue lies in the failure to properly validate a users name. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-9302.
Dedecms 5.71sp1 and earlier is vulnerable to URL redirect. In the web application, a logic error does not judge the input GET request resulting in URL redirection.
Spring Security OAuth versions 2.3 prior to 2.3.6, 2.2 prior to 2.2.5, 2.1 prior to 2.1.5, and 2.0 prior to 2.0.18, as well as older unsupported versions could be susceptible to an open redirector attack that can leak an authorization code. A malicious user or attacker can craft a request to the authorization endpoint using the authorization code grant type, and specify a manipulated redirection URI via the redirect_uri parameter. This can cause the authorization server to redirect the resource owner user-agent to a URI under the control of the attacker with the leaked authorization code.
Scout is a web-based visualizer for VCF-files. Open redirect vulnerability allows performing phishing attacks on users by redirecting them to malicious page. /login API endpoint is vulnerable to open redirect attack via next parameter due to absence of sanitization logic. Additionally, due to lack of scheme validation, HTTPS Downgrade Attack can be performed on the users. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.89.
The package karma before 6.3.16 are vulnerable to Open Redirect due to missing validation of the return_url query parameter.
The package trailing-slash before 2.0.1 are vulnerable to Open Redirect via the use of trailing double slashes in the URL when accessing the vulnerable endpoint (such as https://example.com//attacker.example/). The vulnerable code is in index.js::createTrailing(), as the web server uses relative URLs instead of absolute URLs.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Webex Video Mesh could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to redirect a user to a malicious web page. This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of the URL parameters in an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to redirect a user to a malicious website. Attackers may use this type of vulnerability, known as an open redirect attack, as part of a phishing attack to persuade users to unknowingly visit malicious sites.
In OAuth2 Proxy from version 5.1.1 and less than version 6.0.0, users can provide a redirect address for the proxy to send the authenticated user to at the end of the authentication flow. This is expected to be the original URL that the user was trying to access. This redirect URL is checked within the proxy and validated before redirecting the user to prevent malicious actors providing redirects to potentially harmful sites. This has been fixed in version 6.0.0.
