Jenkins 2.270 through 2.393 (both inclusive), LTS 2.277.1 through 2.375.3 (both inclusive) does not escape the Jenkins version a plugin depends on when rendering the error message stating its incompatibility with the current version of Jenkins, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to provide plugins to the configured update sites and have this message shown by Jenkins instances.
Jupyter Server Proxy allows users to run arbitrary external processes alongside their notebook server and provide authenticated web access to them. Versions of 3.x prior to 3.2.4 and 4.x prior to 4.2.0 have a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) issue. The `/proxy` endpoint accepts a `host` path segment in the format `/proxy/<host>`. When this endpoint is called with an invalid `host` value, `jupyter-server-proxy` replies with a response that includes the value of `host`, without sanitization [2]. A third-party actor can leverage this by sending a phishing link with an invalid `host` value containing custom JavaScript to a user. When the user clicks this phishing link, the browser renders the response of `GET /proxy/<host>`, which runs the custom JavaScript contained in `host` set by the actor. As any arbitrary JavaScript can be run after the user clicks on a phishing link, this issue permits extensive access to the user's JupyterLab instance for an actor. Patches are included in versions 4.2.0 and 3.2.4. As a workaround, server operators who are unable to upgrade can disable the `jupyter-server-proxy` extension.
A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Webkul Krayin CRM 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript code by submitting a malicious payload within the username field. This can lead to privilege escalation when the payload is executed, granting the attacker elevated permissions within the CRM system.
Xiaomi Pro 13 mimarket manual-upgrade Cross-Site Scripting Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Xiaomi Pro 13 smartphones. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the manual-upgrade.html file. When parsing the manualUpgradeInfo parameter, the process does not properly sanitize user-supplied data, which can lead to the injection of an arbitrary script. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-22379.
`org.xwiki.commons:xwiki-commons-xml` is an XML library used by the open-source wiki platform XWiki. The HTML sanitizer, introduced in version 14.6-rc-1, allows the injection of arbitrary HTML code and thus cross-site scripting via invalid data attributes. This vulnerability does not affect restricted cleaning in HTMLCleaner as there attributes are cleaned and thus characters like `/` and `>` are removed in all attribute names. This problem has been patched in XWiki 14.10.4 and 15.0 RC1 by making sure that data attributes only contain allowed characters. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a version including the fix.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the tag parameter in the index page of vTiger CRM 7.4.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of a user's browser via injecting a crafted payload.
Mutation XSS exists in Mark Text through 0.16.2 that leads to Remote Code Execution. NOTE: this might be considered a duplicate of CVE-2020-26870; however, it can also be considered an issue in the design of the "source code mode" feature, which parses HTML even though HTML support is not one of the primary advertised roles of the product.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the parent parameter in the index page of vTiger CRM 7.4.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of a user's browser via injecting a crafted payload.
Xiaomi Pro 13 GetApps integral-dialog-page Cross-Site Scripting Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Xiaomi Pro 13 smartphones. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the integral-dialog-page.html file. When parsing the integralInfo parameter, the process does not properly sanitize user-supplied data, which can lead to the injection of an arbitrary script. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-22332.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the viewname parameter in the index page of vTiger CRM 7.4.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of a user's browser via injecting a crafted payload.
Cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in xujinliang zibbs 1.0, allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via the route parameter to index.php.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Frontend JS module's portlet.js in Liferay Portal 7.2.0 through 7.4.3.37, and Liferay DXP 7.4 before update 38, 7.3 before update 11, 7.2 before fix pack 20, and older unsupported versions allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the anchor (hash) part of a URL.
Insufficient sanitization in MLflow leads to XSS when running a recipe that uses an untrusted dataset. This issue leads to a client-side RCE when running the recipe in Jupyter Notebook. The vulnerability stems from lack of sanitization over dataset table fields.
Stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Portal Search module's Search Result app in Liferay Portal 7.2.0 through 7.4.3.11, and older unsupported versions, and Liferay DXP 7.4 before update 8, 7.3 before update 4, 7.2 before fix pack 17, and older unsupported versions allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML into the Search Result app's search result if highlighting is disabled by adding any searchable content (e.g., blog, message board message, web content article) to the application.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in RenderTune v1.1.4 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload injected into the Upload Title parameter.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in tinymighty WikiSEO 1.2.1 on MediaWiki. This affects the function modifyHTML of the file WikiSEO.body.php of the component Meta Property Tag Handler. The manipulation of the argument content leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.2.2 is able to address this issue. The patch is named 089a5797be612b18a820f9f1e6593ad9a91b1dba. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-220215.
A vulnerability affecting F-Secure SAFE browser protection was discovered improper URL handling can be triggered to cause universal cross-site scripting through browsing protection in a SAFE web browser. User interaction is required prior to exploitation. A successful exploitation may lead to arbitrary code execution.
In uClibc and uClibc-ng before 1.0.39, incorrect handling of special characters in domain names returned by DNS servers via gethostbyname, getaddrinfo, gethostbyaddr, and getnameinfo can lead to output of wrong hostnames (leading to domain hijacking) or injection into applications (leading to remote code execution, XSS, applications crashes, etc.). In other words, a validation step, which is expected in any stub resolver, does not occur.
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists when Power BI Report Server Template file (pbix) containing HTML files is uploaded to the server and HTML files are accessed directly by the victim. Combining these 2 vulnerabilities together, an attacker is able to upload malicious Power BI templates files to the server using the victim's session and run scripts in the security context of the user and perform privilege escalation in case the victim has admin privileges when the victim access one of the HTML files present in the malicious Power BI template uploaded. The security update addresses the vulnerability by helping to ensure that Power BI Report Server properly sanitize file uploads.
Insufficient sanitization in MLflow leads to XSS when running an untrusted recipe. This issue leads to a client-side RCE when running an untrusted recipe in Jupyter Notebook. The vulnerability stems from lack of sanitization over template variables.
Webmin 1.973 is affected by reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) to achieve Remote Command Execution through Webmin's running process feature.
Stored XSS and SQL injection vulnerability in MaxBoard could lead to occur Remote Code Execution, which could lead to information exposure and privilege escalation.
The Formidable Form Builder WordPress plugin before 4.09.05 allows to inject certain HTML Tags like <audio>,<video>,<img>,<a> and<button>.This could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exploit a HTML-injection byinjecting a malicous link. The HTML-injection may trick authenticated users to follow the link. If the Link gets clicked, Javascript code can be executed. The vulnerability is due to insufficient sanitization of the "data-frmverify" tag for links in the web-based entry inspection page of affected systems. A successful exploitation incomibantion with CSRF could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions on an affected system with the privileges of the user. These actions include stealing the users account by changing their password or allowing attackers to submit their own code through an authenticated user resulting in Remote Code Execution. If an authenticated user who is able to edit Wordpress PHP Code in any kind, clicks the malicious link, PHP code can be edited.
The MFT Browser file transfer client and MFT Browser admin client components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server contain a vulnerability that theoretically allows an attacker to craft an URL that will execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. If the attacker convinces an authenticated user with a currently active session to enter or click on the URL the commands will be executed on the affected system. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center: versions 8.2.1 and below and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server: versions 8.2.1 and below.
An issue was discovered in chat.php in LiveZilla Live Chat 8.0.1.3 (Helpdesk). A blind JavaScript injection lies in the name parameter. Triggering this can fetch the username and passwords of the helpdesk employees in the URI. This leads to a privilege escalation, from unauthenticated to user-level access, leading to full account takeover. The attack fetches multiple credentials because they are stored in the database (stored XSS). This affects the mobile/chat URI via the lgn and psswrd parameters.
PrestaShop is an open source e-commerce web application. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that only affects PrestaShops with customer-thread feature flag enabled is present starting from PrestaShop 8.1.0 and prior to PrestaShop 8.1.6. When the customer thread feature flag is enabled through the front-office contact form, a hacker can upload a malicious file containing an XSS that will be executed when an admin opens the attached file in back office. The script injected can access the session and the security token, which allows it to perform any authenticated action in the scope of the administrator's right. This vulnerability is patched in 8.1.6. A workaround is to disable the customer-thread feature-flag.
