Mattermost versions 10.5.x <= 10.5.5, 9.11.x <= 9.11.15, 10.8.x <= 10.8.0, 10.7.x <= 10.7.2, 10.6.x <= 10.6.5 fail to properly enforce channel member management permissions when adding participants to playbook runs. This allows authenticated users with member-level permissions to bypass system admin restrictions and add or remove users to/from private channels via the playbook run participants feature, even when the 'Manage Members' permission has been explicitly removed. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive channel content and allow guest users to gain channel management privileges.
A flaw was found in KubeVirt's Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) evaluation logic. The authorization mechanism improperly truncates subresource names, leading to incorrect permission evaluations. This allows authenticated users with specific custom roles to gain unauthorized access to subresources, potentially disclosing sensitive information or performing actions they are not permitted to do. Additionally, legitimate users may be denied access to resources.
OpenClaw MS Teams before 2026.5.12 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability where the allowFrom feature binds to mutable display names. Attackers with lower-trust access can perform actions requiring stronger authorization by exploiting the mutable display name binding in the affected feature.
OpenClaw versions 2026.5.28 before 2026.6.6 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in native web search that allows lower-trust callers to perform actions requiring stronger policy checks. Attackers can exploit misconfigured input paths to bypass intended authorization controls and execute restricted operations.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 15.10 before 18.10.8, 18.11 before 18.11.5, and 19.0 before 19.0.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with developer-role permissions to modify hidden merge requests due to incorrect authorization enforcements.
VestaCP 0.9.8-26 contains a session token vulnerability in the LoginAs module that allows remote attackers to manipulate authentication tokens. Attackers can exploit insufficient token validation to access user accounts and perform unauthorized login requests without proper administrative permissions.
Discourse is an open source discussion platform. In versions prior to 3.5.4, 2025.11.2, 2025.12.1, and 2026.1.0, non-admin moderators with the `moderators_change_post_ownership` setting enabled can change ownership of posts in private messages and restricted categories they cannot access, then export their data to view the content. This is a broken access control vulnerability affecting sites that grant moderators post ownership transfer permissions. This issue is patched in versions 3.5.4, 2025.11.2, 2025.12.1, and 2026.1.0. The patch adds visibility checks for both the topic and posts before allowing ownership transfer. As a workaround, disable the `moderators_change_post_ownership` site setting to prevent non-admin moderators from using the post ownership transfer feature.
Faulty authorization control in software WinPlus v24.11.27 by Informática del Este that allows another user to be impersonated simply by knowing their 'numerical ID', meaning that an attacker could compromise another user's account, thereby affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data stored in the application.
A vulnerability in the web management interface of Cisco Prime License Manager (PLM) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user input on the web management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a malicious request to an affected system. An exploit could allow the attacker to gain administrative-level privileges on the system. The attacker needs a valid username to exploit this vulnerability.
Canonical snapd before version 2.37.1 incorrectly performed socket owner validation, allowing an attacker to run arbitrary commands as root. This issue affects: Canonical snapd versions prior to 2.37.1.
A vulnerability was found in withstars Books-Management-System 1.0. It has been rated as critical. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
This improper access control vulnerability allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to the system. To fix these vulnerabilities, QNAP recommend updating Photo Station to their latest versions.
NATS Server is a high-performance server for NATS.io, the cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to 2.14.3 and 2.12.12, a client could be registered as the configured no_auth_user through a parser path used when the first client operation was not CONNECT, bypassing user-level connection restrictions such as allowed_connection_types or proxy_required that normal authentication would apply. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.3 and 2.12.12.
A vulnerability in the authorization controls for the Cisco IOx application hosting infrastructure in Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute Cisco IOx API commands without proper authorization. The vulnerability is due to incorrect handling of requests for authorization tokens. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using a crafted API call to request such a token. An exploit could allow the attacker to obtain an authorization token and execute any of the IOx API commands on an affected device.
Capgo before 12.128.2 contains a scope isolation vulnerability in the POST /webhooks/test endpoint that allows app-scoped API keys to invoke org-scoped webhook operations. Attackers with app-scoped credentials can trigger signed outbound webhook deliveries for arbitrary organization webhooks outside their declared app boundary, bypassing the limited_to_apps authorization check.
Coder allows organizations to provision remote development environments via Terraform. Starting in version 2.30.0 and prior to versions 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2, AI Bridge proxy endpoints authenticate via `Server.IsAuthorized` in `coderd/aibridgedserver`, which validates key format, expiry, secret and deleted or system users but does not check whether the account is suspended. Because suspension does not revoke existing API keys, a suspended user's unexpired token keeps working. Practical impact is limited to already-issued API keys of suspended users until those keys are deleted. Versions 2.32.7, 2.33.8, and 2.34.2 patch the issue. As a workaround, on suspension, delete the user's API keys via `DELETE /api/v2/users/{user}/keys`.
Improper Access Control (CWE-284) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized modification of Entity Analytics Watchlist configuration and potential information disclosure. A low-privileged authenticated user with read-only Security Solution access could perform write operations on watchlist data that should require elevated privileges. Under specific deployment conditions, this could also allow such a user to access data beyond their authorized scope.
Subscriber Privilege Escalation in SMS Alert Order Notifications <= 3.9.4 versions.
n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.57.4, multi-tenant HTTP mode with ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true could allow an authenticated tenant to access default-scope workflow_versions backups instead of being confined to the tenant scope, exposing or deleting workflow-version backups from prior single-tenant deployments or migrations. This issue is fixed in version 2.57.4.
OpenClaw before 2026.5.7 contains a sender policy bypass vulnerability in BlueBubbles that allows participants to match allowlist entries through conversation metadata rather than stable sender identity. Attackers can influence conversation-level identifiers to receive agent responses intended for configured senders, potentially bypassing access controls.
This issue was addressed with improved URL validation. This issue is fixed in Safari 26, iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to unexpected URL redirection.
Veritas APTARE versions prior to 10.5 did not perform adequate authorization checks. This vulnerability could allow for remote code execution by an unauthenticated user.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in Discord slash command and autocomplete paths that fail to enforce group DM channel allowlist restrictions. Authorized Discord users can bypass channel restrictions by invoking slash commands, allowing access to restricted group DM channels.
White Shark System (WSS) 1.3.2 is vulnerable to unauthorized access via user_edit_password.php, remote attackers can modify the password of any user.
SurrealDB is a scalable, distributed, collaborative, document-graph database for the realtime web. Prior to 3.1.0, Document::purge_edges in surrealdb/core/src/doc/delete.rs automatically removed graph edge records with permissions disabled through opt.clone().with_perms(false) when a connected node was deleted, bypassing the edge table's PERMISSIONS FOR delete and PERMISSIONS FOR select clauses. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.0.
After Automation Direct CLICK PLC CPU Modules: C0-1x CPUs with firmware prior to v3.00 is unlocked by an authorized user, the unlocked state does not timeout. If the programming software is interrupted, the PLC remains unlocked. All subsequent programming connections are allowed without authorization. The PLC is only relocked by a power cycle, or when the programming software disconnects correctly.
Autolab is a course management service that enables auto-graded programming assignments. There is a vulnerability in version 3.0.1 where CAs can view or edit the grade for any submission ID, even if they are not a CA for the class that has the submission. The endpoints only check that the CAs have the authorization level of a CA in the class in the endpoint, which is not necessarily the class the submission is attached to. Version 3.0.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. In affected versions if there are two overlapping policies for the `update` action that allow access to different fields, instead of correctly checking access permissions against the item they apply for the user is allowed to update the superset of fields allowed by any of the policies. E.g. have one policy allowing update access to `field_a` if the `id == 1` and one policy allowing update access to `field_b` if the `id == 2`. The user with both these policies is allowed to update both `field_a` and `field_b` for the items with ids `1` and `2`. Before v11, if a user was allowed to update an item they were allowed to update the fields that the single permission, that applied to that item, listed. With overlapping permissions this isn't as clear cut anymore and the union of fields might not be the fields the user is allowed to update for that specific item. The solution that this PR introduces is to evaluate the permissions for each field that the user tries to update in the validateItemAccess DB query, instead of only verifying access to the item as a whole. This is done by, instead of returning the actual field value, returning a flag that indicates if the user has access to that field. This uses the same case/when mechanism that is used for stripping out non permitted field that is at the core of the permissions engine. As a result, for every item that the access is validated for, the expected result is an item that has either 1 or null for all the "requested" fields instead of any of the actual field values. These results are not useful for anything other than verifying the field level access permissions. The final check in validateItemAccess can either fail if the number of items does not match the number of items the access is checked for (ie. the user does not have access to the item at all) or if not all of the passed in fields have access permissions for any of the returned items. This is a vulnerability that allows update access to unintended fields, potentially impacting the password field for user accounts. This has been addressed in version 11.1.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.933 Application 20.0.2368 allows Insecure Extension Installation by Trusting HTTP Permission Methods on the Server Side V-2024-005.
DataEase is an open source business intelligence and data visualization tool. Prior to version 2.10.6, there is a flaw in the authentication in the io.dataease.auth.filter.TokenFilter class, which may cause the risk of unauthorized access. The vulnerability has been fixed in v2.10.6. No known workarounds are available.
Authentication Bypass vulnerability in D-Link DIR-885L FW102b01 allows remote attackers to gain escalated privileges via phpcgi. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
Lylme Spage v1.9.5 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. There is no limit on the number of login attempts, and the verification code will not be refreshed after a failed login, which allows attackers to blast the username and password and log into the system backend.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 contains a tool policy bypass vulnerability allowing bundled MCP and LSP tools to circumvent configured tool restrictions. Attackers with local agent access can append restricted tools to the effective tool set after policy filtering, bypassing profile policies, allow/deny lists, owner-only restrictions, sandbox policies, and subagent policies.
Computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT) is an interactive video and image annotation tool for computer vision. An attacker with a CVAT account may retrieve certain information about any project, task, job or membership resource on the CVAT instance. The information exposed in this way is the same as the information returned on a GET request to the resource. In addition, the attacker can also alter the default source and target storage associated with any project or task. Upgrade to CVAT 2.19.1 or any later version to fix the issue.
Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.38.1, the row action trigger endpoint (POST /api/tables/:sourceId/actions/:actionId/trigger) fails to validate that the user-supplied rowId is within the scope of the view's row filters. A user with access to a filtered view can trigger row actions on any row in the underlying table, including rows explicitly excluded by the view's security filters. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.38.1.
UReport 2.2.9 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code due to a lack of access control to the designer page.
In MISP through 2.4.196, app/Controller/BookmarksController.php does not properly restrict access to bookmarks data in the case where the user is not an org admin.
Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. From 2.4.0 until 2.11.3, the authorization layer and the /config traversal layer do not agree on what object the path refers to. In this case, a path authorized for one config object is accepted, but then resolves to a different config object during traversal. This happens because the authorization layer uses string prefix matching and the /config traversal layer parses array indices numerically using strconv.Atoi(). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.3.
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.0, the is_user_channel_member function checks whether a ChannelMember row exists but does not check the is_active field. When a user is deactivated from a group or DM channel (removed by the channel owner, or leaves voluntarily), their membership row persists with is_active=False and status='left'. Because the authorization check ignores this field, the deactivated user retains full read and write access to the channel via direct API calls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.0.
IRIS is a web collaborative platform that helps incident responders share technical details during investigations. In versions prior to 2.4.28, users can create alerts for customers that are not assigned to them. This can be abused to falsely attribute fake alerts to customers. In combination with Cross-Site Scripting, this can also be used to exfiltrate alerts from other customers. Version 2.4.28 contains a patch.
Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Solr. Solr instances using the PKIAuthenticationPlugin, which is enabled by default when Solr Authentication is used, are vulnerable to Authentication bypass. A fake ending at the end of any Solr API URL path, will allow requests to skip Authentication while maintaining the API contract with the original URL Path. This fake ending looks like an unprotected API path, however it is stripped off internally after authentication but before API routing. This issue affects Apache Solr: from 5.3.0 before 8.11.4, from 9.0.0 before 9.7.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.7.0, or 8.11.4, which fix the issue.
<p>An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in the way Azure Functions validate access keys.</p> <p>An unauthenticated attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could invoke an HTTP Function without proper authorization.</p> <p>This security update addresses the vulnerability by correctly validating access keys used to access HTTP Functions.</p>
A vulnerability in the vae_admin_rule database table of vaeThink v1.0.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted payload in the condition parameter.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the chat.send endpoint that allows write-scoped gateway callers to persist admin-only verboseLevel session overrides. Attackers can exploit the /verbose parameter to bypass access controls and expose sensitive reasoning or tool output intended to be restricted to administrators.
A flaw was found in keycloak before version 13.0.0. In some scenarios a user still has access to a resource after changing the role mappings in Keycloak and after expiration of the previous access token.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in paired-device pairing management that allows limited-scope sessions to enumerate and act on pairing requests. Attackers with paired-device access can approve or operate on unrelated pending device requests within the same gateway scope.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an access control bypass vulnerability in the Discord voice manager that allows attackers to bypass channel-level member access allowlist restrictions. Attackers can send Discord voice ingress requests before channel allowlist authorization is performed, gaining unauthorized access to restricted voice channels.
Incorrect access control in TOTOLINK N350RT V9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 allows attackers to obtain the apmib configuration file, which contains the username and the password, via a crafted request to /cgi-bin/ExportSettings.sh.
OpenFGA is an authorization/permission engine. OpenFGA v1.5.7 and v1.5.8 are vulnerable to authorization bypass when calling Check API with a model that uses `but not` and `from` expressions and a userset. Users should downgrade to v1.5.6 as soon as possible. This downgrade is backward compatible. As of time of publication, a patch is not available but OpenFGA's maintainers are planning a patch for inclusion in a future release.
