Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. In versions before 7.0.0, missing validation logic in the storage bucket import logic allows an authenticated user with access to the storage bucket feature to cause the Incus daemon to crash. The vulnerability is present in the backup metadata handling logic, where the daemon processes the index.yaml file from an imported archive and accesses members of the parsed backup configuration without first verifying that the configuration object was initialized. A malicious or malformed index.yaml that omits the config block causes a nil-pointer dereference during bucket import operations and terminates the daemon. Repeated use of this issue can be used to keep Incus offline, causing a denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.0.

Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to version 1.8.0, Ella Core panics when processing a NGAP handover failure message. An attacker able to cause a gNodeB to send NGAP handover failure messages to Ella Core can crash the process, causing service disruption for all connected subscribers. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.0.

Tensorflow is an Open Source Machine Learning Framework. When building an XLA compilation cache, if default settings are used, TensorFlow triggers a null pointer dereference. In the default scenario, all devices are allowed, so `flr->config_proto` is `nullptr`. The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0. We will also cherrypick this commit on TensorFlow 2.7.1, TensorFlow 2.6.3, and TensorFlow 2.5.3, as these are also affected and still in supported range.
Sliver is a command and control framework that uses a custom Wireguard netstack. In versions from 1.7.3 and prior, a vulnerability exists in the Sliver C2 server's Protobuf unmarshalling logic due to a systemic lack of nil-pointer validation. By extracting valid implant credentials and omitting nested fields in a signed message, an authenticated actor can trigger an unhandled runtime panic. Because the mTLS, WireGuard, and DNS transport layers lack the panic recovery middleware present in the HTTP transport, this results in a global process termination. While requiring post-authentication access (a captured implant), this flaw effectively acts as an infrastructure "kill-switch," instantly severing all active sessions across the entire fleet and requiring a manual server restart to restore operations. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
xhyve commit dfbe09b was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the component vi_pci_write(). This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service via unspecified vectors.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: return -EINVAL when namelen is 0 When we have a corrupted main.sqlite in /var/lib/nfs/nfsdcld/, it may result in namelen being 0, which will cause memdup_user() to return ZERO_SIZE_PTR. When we access the name.data that has been assigned the value of ZERO_SIZE_PTR in nfs4_client_to_reclaim(), null pointer dereference is triggered. A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function nilfs_bmap_lookup_at_level of the file fs/nilfs2/inode.c of the component nilfs2. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-211920.
Envoy is a high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. In 1.33.12, 1.34.10, 1.35.6, 1.36.2, and earlier, Envoy crashes when JWT authentication is configured with the remote JWKS fetching, allow_missing_or_failed is enabled, multiple JWT tokens are present in the request headers and the JWKS fetch fails. This is caused by a re-entry bug in the JwksFetcherImpl. When the first token's JWKS fetch fails, onJwksError() callback triggers processing of the second token, which calls fetch() again on the same fetcher object. The original callback's reset() then clears the second fetch's state (receiver_ and request_) which causes a crash when the async HTTP response arrives.
A flaw was found In 389-ds-base. When the Content Synchronization plugin is enabled, an authenticated user can reach a NULL pointer dereference using a specially crafted query. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service. This CVE is assigned against an incomplete fix of CVE-2021-3514.

net-snmp provides various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol. Prior to version 5.9.2, a user with read-write credentials can use a malformed OID in a `SET` request to `NET-SNMP-AGENT-MIB::nsLogTable` to cause a NULL pointer dereference. Version 5.9.2 contains a patch. Users should use strong SNMPv3 credentials and avoid sharing the credentials. Those who must use SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c should use a complex community string and enhance the protection by restricting access to a given IP address range.

Tensorflow is an Open Source Machine Learning Framework. The implementation of `GetInitOp` is vulnerable to a crash caused by dereferencing a null pointer. The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0. We will also cherrypick this commit on TensorFlow 2.7.1, TensorFlow 2.6.3, and TensorFlow 2.5.3, as these are also affected and still in supported range.
Tensorflow is an Open Source Machine Learning Framework. Under certain scenarios, Grappler component of TensorFlow can trigger a null pointer dereference. There are 2 places where this can occur, for the same malicious alteration of a `SavedModel` file (fixing the first one would trigger the same dereference in the second place). First, during constant folding, the `GraphDef` might not have the required nodes for the binary operation. If a node is missing, the correposning `mul_*child` would be null, and the dereference in the subsequent line would be incorrect. We have a similar issue during `IsIdentityConsumingSwitch`.
When decoding a tensor from protobuf, TensorFlow might do a null-dereference if attributes of some mutable arguments to some operations are missing from the proto. This is guarded by a `DCHECK`. However, `DCHECK` is a no-op in production builds and an assertion failure in debug builds. In the first case execution proceeds to the dereferencing of the null pointer, whereas in the second case it results in a crash due to the assertion failure. The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0. We will also cherrypick this commit on TensorFlow 2.7.1, and TensorFlow 2.6.3, as these are also affected and still in supported range.
An authenticated remote attacker can cause a null pointer dereference in the CmpSettings component of the affected CODESYS products which leads to a crash.
A null pointer dereference was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in tvOS 15.4, iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, macOS Big Sur 11.6.5, Security Update 2022-003 Catalina, watchOS 8.5, macOS Monterey 12.3. An attacker in a privileged position may be able to perform a denial of service attack.
Tensorflow is an Open Source Machine Learning Framework. The implementation of `SparseTensorSliceDataset` has an undefined behavior: under certain condition it can be made to dereference a `nullptr` value. The 3 input arguments to `SparseTensorSliceDataset` represent a sparse tensor. However, there are some preconditions that these arguments must satisfy but these are not validated in the implementation. The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0. We will also cherrypick this commit on TensorFlow 2.7.1, TensorFlow 2.6.3, and TensorFlow 2.5.3, as these are also affected and still in supported range.

Windows Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Denial of Service Vulnerability
Nullptr dereference when a null char is present in a proto symbol. The symbol is parsed incorrectly, leading to an unchecked call into the proto file's name during generation of the resulting error message. Since the symbol is incorrectly parsed, the file is nullptr. We recommend upgrading to version 3.15.0 or greater.

Kubernetes CSI snapshot-controller prior to v2.1.3 and v3.0.2 could panic when processing a VolumeSnapshot custom resource when: - The VolumeSnapshot referenced a non-existing PersistentVolumeClaim and the VolumeSnapshot did not reference any VolumeSnapshotClass. - The snapshot-controller crashes, is automatically restarted by Kubernetes, and processes the same VolumeSnapshot custom resource after the restart, entering an endless crashloop. Only the volume snapshot feature is affected by this vulnerability. When exploited, users can’t take snapshots of their volumes or delete the snapshots. All other Kubernetes functionality is not affected.

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. A NULL pointer dereference was detected during fuzzing of the analysis engine, allowing malicious clients to DoS the analysis engine. The bug occurs when `analysisd` receives a syscollector message with the `hotfix` `msg_type` but lacking a `timestamp`. It uses `cJSON_GetObjectItem()` to get the `timestamp` object item and dereferences it without checking for a `NULL` value. A malicious client can DoS the analysis engine. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.7.1.
