Microsoft SharePoint Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Microsoft SharePoint Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
The WP Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted input via the 'current_theme_root' parameter in versions up to, and including 1.2.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrative privileges to call files using a PHAR wrapper that will deserialize and call arbitrary PHP Objects that can be used to perform a variety of malicious actions granted a POP chain is also present. It also requires that the attacker is successful in uploading a file with the serialized payload.
SolarWinds Platform version 2022.4.1 was found to be susceptible to the Deserialization of Untrusted Data. This vulnerability allows a remote adversary with Orion admin-level account access to the SolarWinds Web Console to execute arbitrary commands.
vantage6 is privacy preserving federated learning infrastructure. Versions prior to 4.0.0 use pickle, which has known security issue, as a default serialization module but that has known security issues. All users of vantage6 that post tasks with the default serialization are affected. Version 4.0.0 contains a patch. Users may specify JSON serialization as a workaround.
VMware Workspace ONE Access, Identity Manager and vRealize Automation contain two remote code execution vulnerabilities (CVE-2022-22957 & CVE-2022-22958). A malicious actor with administrative access can trigger deserialization of untrusted data through malicious JDBC URI which may result in remote code execution.

Under very specific circumstances (see Required configuration section below), a privileged user is able to cause arbitrary code to be executed which may cause further disruption to services. This is specific to applications written in C#. This affects all MongoDB .NET/C# Driver versions prior to and including v2.18.0 Following configuration must be true for the vulnerability to be applicable: * Application must written in C# taking arbitrary data from users and serializing data using _t without any validation AND * Application must be running on a Windows host using the full .NET Framework, not .NET Core AND * Application must have domain model class with a property/field explicitly of type System.Object or a collection of type System.Object (against MongoDB best practice) AND * Malicious attacker must have unrestricted insert access to target database to add a _t discriminator."Following configuration must be true for the vulnerability to be applicable

Concrete CMS below version 9.4.8 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution by stored PHP object injection into the Express Entry List block via the columns parameter. An authenticated administrator can store attacker-controlled serialized data in block configuration fields that are later passed to unserialize() without class restrictions or integrity checks. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v.4.0 score of 8.9 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H. Metabase is an open source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. In Metabase Enterprise prior to versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4, authenticated admins on Metabase Enterprise Edition can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) and Arbitrary File Read via the `POST /api/ee/serialization/import` endpoint. A crafted serialization archive injects an `INIT` property into the H2 JDBC spec, which can execute arbitrary SQL during a database sync. We confirmed this was possible on Metabase Cloud. This only affects Metabase Enterprise. Metabase OSS lacks the affected codepaths. All versions of Metabase Enterprise that have serialization, which dates back to at least version 1.47, are affected. Metabase Enterprise versions 1.54.22, 1.55.22, 1.56.22, 1.57.16, 1.58.10, and 1.59.4 patch the issue. As a workaround, disable the serialization import endpoint in their Metabase instance to prevent access to the vulnerable codepaths.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Melapress MelaPress Login Security melapress-login-security allows Object Injection. This issue affects MelaPress Login Security: from n/a through <= 2.1.0.
The Frontend Admin by DynamiApps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection via deserialization of the 'post_content' of admin_form posts in all versions up to, and including, 3.28.31. This is due to the use of WordPress's `maybe_unserialize()` function without class restrictions on user-controllable content stored in admin_form post content. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. The additional presence of a POP chain allows attackers to achieve remote code execution.
The WP Custom Admin Interface WordPress plugin before 7.29 unserialize user input provided via the settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform PHP Object Injection when a suitable gadget is present.
The Smart Post Show – Post Grid, Post Carousel & Slider, and List Category Posts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.12 via deserialization of untrusted input in the import_shortcodes() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.
OpenSTAManager is an open source management software for technical assistance and invoicing. Prior to version 2.10.2, the oauth2.php file in OpenSTAManager is an unauthenticated endpoint ($skip_permissions = true). It loads a record from the zz_oauth2 table using the attacker-controlled GET parameter state, and during the OAuth2 configuration flow calls unserialize() on the access_token field without any class restriction. This issue has been patched in version 2.10.2.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Stylemix uListing ulisting allows Object Injection. This issue affects uListing: from n/a through <= 2.2.0.
LangGraph SQLite Checkpoint is an implementation of LangGraph CheckpointSaver that uses SQLite DB (both sync and async, via aiosqlite). In version 1.0.9 and prior, LangGraph checkpointers can load msgpack-encoded checkpoints that reconstruct Python objects during deserialization. If an attacker can modify checkpoint data in the backing store (for example, after a database compromise or other privileged write access to the persistence layer), they can potentially supply a crafted payload that triggers unsafe object reconstruction when the checkpoint is loaded. No known patch is public.
An issue was discovered in Deskpro before 2019.8.0. This product enables administrators to modify the helpdesk interface by editing /portal/api/style/edit-theme-set/template-sources theme templates, and uses TWIG as its template engine. While direct access to self and _self variables was not permitted, one could abuse the accessible variables in one's context to reach a native unserialize function via the code parameter. There, on could pass a crafted payload to trigger a set of POP gadgets in order to achieve remote code execution.
