Multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an authenticated attacker to perform path traversal attacks on the underlying operating system to either elevate privileges to root or read arbitrary files. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker must have valid Administrator credentials on the affected device. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
The All-In-One Security (AIOS) WordPress plugin before 5.1.5 does not limit what log files to display in it's settings pages, allowing an authorized user (admin+) to view the contents of arbitrary files and list directories anywhere on the server (to which the web server has access). The plugin only displays the last 50 lines of the file.
Pimcore is an open source data and experience management platform. Prior to version 10.5.21, the `/admin/misc/script-proxy` API endpoint that is accessible by an authenticated administrator user is vulnerable to arbitrary JavaScript and CSS file read via the `scriptPath` and `scripts` parameters. The `scriptPath` parameter is not sanitized properly and is vulnerable to path traversal attack. Any JavaScript/CSS file from the application server can be read by specifying sufficient number of `../` patterns to go out from the application webroot followed by path of the folder where the file is located in the "scriptPath" parameter and the file name in the "scripts" parameter. The JavaScript file is successfully read only if the web application has read access to it. Users should update to version 10.5.21 to receive a patch or, as a workaround, apply the patch manual.

A flaw was found in Keycloak. A realm administrator with the "manage-realm" role can exploit this vulnerability by submitting an arbitrary filesystem path as a keystore parameter when creating a key provider component. This allows the administrator to probe arbitrary filesystem paths, determining which files exist and are readable by the Keycloak process. This information disclosure could be used to identify high-value targets for follow-on attacks.
An issue was discovered in Sangoma Asterisk through 16.28, 17 and 18 through 18.14, 19 through 19.6, and certified through 18.9-cert1. GetConfig, via Asterisk Manager Interface, allows a connected application to access files outside of the asterisk configuration directory, aka Directory Traversal.

The Woosa – Marktplaats for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read via Path Traversal in versions up to and including 2.0.4. This is due to insufficient path sanitization in the render_logs_ui() function, which accepts a base64-encoded file name from the 'log_file' GET parameter and concatenates it directly with the plugin's log directory path without validating that the resolved path remains within the intended directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, including wp-config.
The Fluent Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to and including 6.2.1. This is due to insufficient path validation in the getAttachments() method of EmailNotificationActions, which resolves attacker-supplied file-upload URLs into filesystem paths without verifying that the resolved path stays inside the WordPress uploads directory: a strpos() prefix check on the raw URL can be bypassed with traversal sequences, wp_normalize_path() does not resolve ".\..\" segments, and file_exists() then resolves them at the kernel level. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator access to read arbitrary files readable by the web-server user — including wp-config.php with its database credentials and authentication salts — by submitting a form whose admin notification is configured to attach a file-upload field and supplying a crafted URL of the shape <upload_baseurl>/../../<target> as the file-field value. The resolved file is attached to the outbound admin-notification email via wp_mail(). While the email can be triggered by unauthenticated users, the email recipient is not user-controlled.
Due to insufficient input validation, SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform allows an attacker with high level privileges to use a remote enabled function to read a file which is otherwise restricted. On successful exploitation an attacker can completely compromise the confidentiality of the application.
Webtrees 2.1.18 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal. By manipulating the "media_folder" parameter in the URL, an attacker (in this case, an administrator) can navigate beyond the intended directory (the 'media/' directory) to access sensitive files in other parts of the application's file system.

The Export and Import Users and Customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.2 via the download_file() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary log files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
A vulnerability in Cisco Emergency Responder could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a directory traversal attack, which could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient protections for the web UI of an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted requests to the web UI. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions with the privilege level of the affected user, such as accessing password or log files or uploading and deleting existing files from the system.
The WordPress Infinite Scroll – Ajax Load More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 7.0.1 via the 'type' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. This is limited to Windows instances.
Bit Assist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.2 via the downloadResponseFile() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The JetBackup – Backup, Restore & Migrate plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Path Traversal leading to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in versions up to and including 3.1.19.8. This is due to insufficient input validation on the fileName parameter in the file upload handler. The plugin sanitizes the fileName parameter using sanitize_text_field(), which removes HTML tags but does not prevent path traversal sequences like '../'. The unsanitized filename is then directly concatenated in Upload::getFileLocation() without using basename() or validating the resolved path stays within the intended directory. When an invalid file is uploaded, the cleanup logic calls dirname() on the traversed path and passes it to Util::rm(), which recursively deletes the entire resolved directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to traverse outside the intended upload directory and trigger deletion of critical WordPress directories such as wp-content/plugins, effectively disabling all installed plugins and causing severe site disruption.
The Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.0 via the download_file() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary log files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The Easy Digital Downloads – eCommerce Payments and Subscriptions made easy plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.2 via the file download functionality. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In 29.0 and earlier, view/update.php reads $_POST['updateFile'] as a relative path under updatedb/ and passes it to PHP's file() for line-by-line execution as part of a database migration. An authenticated administrator can abuse this to read arbitrary text files reachable from the web-server process.
Bludit 3.12.0 allows admins to use a /plugin-backup-download?file=../ directory traversal approach for arbitrary file download via backup/plugin.php.
The System Dashboard WordPress plugin before 2.8.15 does not validate user input used in a path, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform path traversal attacks an read arbitrary files on the server
MinIO is a high-performance object storage system. From RELEASE.2022-07-24T01-54-52Z to before RELEASE.2026-04-14T21-32-45Z, A path traversal vulnerability in MinIO's ReadMultiple internode storage-REST endpoint allows a caller holding the cluster root JWT to read files from outside the configured drive roots, bounded only by the MinIO process UID. The attacker sends POST minio/storage/{drivePath}/v63/rmpl with a msgpack-encoded body carrying ../ sequences in the Bucket field. The server opens the resulting path via os.OpenFile with O_RDONLY|O_NOATIME and returns its contents in the msgpack response stream. This vulnerability is fixed in RELEASE.2026-04-14T21-32-45Z.
OpenKM 6.3.12 contains a local file inclusion vulnerability in the administrative scripting interface at /admin/Scripting that allows authenticated administrators to read arbitrary files by supplying an attacker-controlled filesystem path through the fsPath parameter with action=Load. Attackers can exploit this to access sensitive files including /etc/passwd, configuration files containing database credentials, and JVM keystores accessible to the OpenKM process.
Pode is a Cross-Platform PowerShell web framework for creating REST APIs, Web Sites, and TCP/SMTP servers. From 2.4.0, to before 2.13.0, when requesting content from a Static Route, it was possible to request paths such as http://localhost:8080/c:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts and have the contents returned. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0.
