A vulnerability was found in SourceCodester Web-based Pharmacy Product Management System 1.0. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /add-admin.php of the component Create User Page. The manipulation of the argument Avatar leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Movary is a self hosted web app to track and rate a user's watched movies. Prior to version 0.71.1, an ordinary authenticated user can escalate their own account to administrator by sending `isAdmin=true` to `PUT /settings/users/{userId}` for their own user ID. The endpoint is intended to let a user edit their own profile, but it updates the sensitive `isAdmin` field without any admin-only authorization check. Version 0.71.1 patches the issue.
The Vertex Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 1.6.4. This is due to improper authorization enforcement in the activate_required_plugins() function. Specifically, the current_user_can('install_plugins') capability check does not terminate execution when it fails — it only sets an error message variable while allowing the plugin installation and activation code to execute. The error response is only sent after the installation and activation have already completed. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to install and activate arbitrary plugins from the WordPress.
Jenkins WMI Windows Agents Plugin 1.8 and earlier includes the Windows Remote Command library does not implement access control, potentially allowing users to start processes even if they're not allowed to log in.
The Expire Users plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.2. This is due to the plugin allowing a user to update the 'on_expire_default_to_role' meta through the 'save_extra_user_profile_fields' function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to that of an administrator.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 contains an agentic consent bypass vulnerability allowing LLM agents to silently disable execution approval via config.patch parameter. Remote attackers can exploit this to bypass security controls and execute unauthorized operations without user consent.
A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester/janobe Resort Reservation System 1.0. Affected is the function doInsert of the file /controller.php?action=add. Such manipulation of the argument image leads to unrestricted upload. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Neko is a a self-hosted virtual browser that runs in Docker and uses WebRTC In versions 3.0.0 through 3.0.10 and 3.1.0 through 3.1.1, any authenticated user can immediately obtain full administrative control of the entire Neko instance (member management, room settings, broadcast control, session termination, etc.). This results in a complete compromise of the instance. The vulnerability has been patched in v3.0.11 and v3.1.2. If upgrading is not immediately possible, the following mitigations can reduce risk: Restrict access to trusted users only (avoid granting accounts to untrusted parties); ensure all user passwords are strong and only shared with trusted individuals; run the instance only when needed; avoid leaving it continuously exposed; place the instance behind authentication layers such as a reverse proxy with additional access controls; disable or restrict access to the /api/profile endpoint if feasible; and/or monitor for suspicious privilege changes or unexpected administrative actions. Note that these are temporary mitigations and do not fully eliminate the vulnerability. Upgrading is strongly recommended.
A security vulnerability has been detected in Tiandy Video Surveillance System 视频监控平台 7.17.0. The impacted element is the function uploadFile of the file /src/com/tiandy/easy7/core/rest/CLS_REST_File.java. The manipulation of the argument fileName leads to unrestricted upload. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Prior to 11.17.0, the PATCH /files/{id} endpoint accepts a user-controlled filename_disk parameter. By setting this value to match the storage path of another user's file, an attacker can overwrite that file's content while manipulating metadata fields such as uploaded_by to obscure the tampering. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.17.0.
OpenHarness prior to commit dd1d235 contains a command injection vulnerability that allows remote gateway users with chat access to invoke sensitive administrative commands by exploiting insufficient distinction between local-only and remote-safe commands in the gateway handler. Attackers can execute administrative commands such as /permissions full_auto through remote chat sessions to change permission modes of a running OpenHarness instance without operator authorization.
Genealogy is a family tree PHP application. Prior to 5.9.1, a critical broken access control vulnerability in the genealogy application allows any authenticated user to transfer ownership of arbitrary non-personal teams to themselves. This enables complete takeover of other users’ team workspaces and unrestricted access to all genealogy data associated with the compromised team. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.9.1.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to immediately revoke active user sessions when an account is deactivated. Due to a logic flaw in the backend design, account state changes are enforced only during authentication (login), not for already-established sessions. The system implicitly assumes that authenticated users remain trusted for the lifetime of their session. There is no session expiration or account expiration mechanism in place, causing deactivated accounts to retain indefinite access until the user manually logs out. This behavior breaks the intended access control policy and results in persistent unauthorized access, representing a critical security flaw. This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.

A security flaw has been discovered in Bytedesk up to 1.3.9. This affects the function uploadFile of the file source-code/src/main/java/com/bytedesk/core/upload/UploadRestController.java of the component SVG File Handler. Performing a manipulation results in unrestricted upload. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.4.5.1 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is named 975e39e4dd527596987559f56c5f9f973f64eff7. Upgrading the affected component is recommended.
The AcyMailing plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions From 9.11.0 up to, and including, 10.8.1 due to a missing capability check on the `wp_ajax_acymailing_router` AJAX handler. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to access admin-only controllers (including configuration management), enable the autologin feature, create a malicious newsletter subscriber with an injected `cms_id` pointing to any WordPress user, and then use the autologin URL to authenticate as that user, including administrators.
Mattermost Plugin Legal Hold versions <=1.1.4 fail to halt request processing after a failed authorization check in ServeHTTP which allows an authenticated attacker to access, create, download, and delete legal hold data via crafted API requests to the plugin's endpoints. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00621
OpenPLC_V3 REST API endpoint checks for JWT presence but never verifies the caller's role. Any authenticated user with role=user can delete any other user, including administrators, by specifying their user ID or they can create new accounts with role=admin, escalating to full administrator access.
Brave CMS is an open-source CMS. Prior to 2.0.6, this vulnerability is a missing authorization check found in the update role endpoint at routes/web.php. The POST route for /rights/update-role/{id} lacks the checkUserPermissions:assign-user-roles middleware. This allows any authenticated user to change account roles and promote themselves to Super Admin. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.6.
A weakness has been identified in Bytedesk up to 1.3.9. This vulnerability affects the function handleFileUpload of the file source-code/src/main/java/com/bytedesk/core/upload/UploadRestService.java of the component SVG File Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to unrestricted upload. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.4.5.1 is able to resolve this issue. This patch is called 975e39e4dd527596987559f56c5f9f973f64eff7. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
The Shopper Approved Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the ajax_callback_update_sa_option() function in versions 2.0 to 2.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site.
The Xelion Webchat plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the xwc_save_settings() function in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site.
PinchTab is a standalone HTTP server that gives AI agents direct control over a Chrome browser. PinchTab `v0.8.3` through `v0.8.5` allow arbitrary JavaScript execution through `POST /wait` and `POST /tabs/{id}/wait` when the request uses `fn` mode, even if `security.allowEvaluate` is disabled. `POST /evaluate` correctly enforces the `security.allowEvaluate` guard, which is disabled by default. However, in the affected releases, `POST /wait` accepted a user-controlled `fn` expression, embedded it directly into executable JavaScript, and evaluated it in the browser context without checking the same policy. This is a security-policy bypass rather than a separate authentication bypass. Exploitation still requires authenticated API access, but a caller with the server token can execute arbitrary JavaScript in a tab context even when the operator explicitly disabled JavaScript evaluation. The current worktree fixes this by applying the same policy boundary to `fn` mode in `/wait` that already exists on `/evaluate`, while preserving the non-code wait modes. As of time of publication, a patched version is not yet available.
Improper Access Control in GitHub repository tooljet/tooljet prior to v1.19.0.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to version 8.0.0.3, the billing file-download endpoint `interface/billing/get_claim_file.php` only verifies that the caller has a valid session and CSRF token, but does not check any ACL permissions. This allows any authenticated OpenEMR user — regardless of whether they have billing privileges — to download and permanently delete electronic claim batch files containing protected health information (PHI). Version 8.0.0.3 patches the issue.
etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9, unauthorized users may bypass authentication or authorization checks and call certain etcd functions in clusters that expose the gRPC API to untrusted or partially trusted clients. In unpatched etcd clusters with etcd auth enabled, unauthorized users are able to call MemberList and learn cluster topology, including member IDs and advertised endpoints; call Alarm, which can be abused for operational disruption or denial of service; use Lease APIs, interfering with TTL-based keys and lease ownership; and/or trigger compaction, permanently removing historical revisions and disrupting watch, audit, and recovery workflows. Kubernetes does not rely on etcd’s built-in authentication and authorization. Instead, the API server handles authentication and authorization itself, so typical Kubernetes deployments are not affected. Versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9 contain a patch. If upgrading is not immediately possible, reduce exposure by treating the affected RPCs as unauthenticated in practice. Restrict network access to etcd server ports so only trusted components can connect and/or require strong client identity at the transport layer, such as mTLS with tightly scoped client certificate distribution.
Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, a Mass Assignment vulnerability in the DocumentStore creation endpoint allows authenticated users to control the primary key (id) and internal state fields of DocumentStore entities. Because the service uses repository.save() with a client-supplied primary key, the POST create endpoint behaves as an implicit UPSERT operation. This enables overwriting existing DocumentStore objects. In multi-workspace or multi-tenant deployments, this can lead to cross-workspace object takeover and broken object-level authorization (IDOR), allowing an attacker to reassign or modify DocumentStore objects belonging to other workspaces. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.
In Juju from version 3.0.0 through 3.6.18, the authorization of the "secret-set" tool is not performed correctly, which allows a grantee to update the secret content, and can lead to reading or updating other secrets. When the "secret-set" tool logs an error in an exploitation attempt, the secret is still updated contrary to expectations, and the new value is visible to both the owner and the grantee.
A missing permission check in Jenkins SWAMP Plugin 1.2.6 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified web server using attacker-specified credentials.
A missing permission check in Jenkins SCP publisher Plugin 1.8 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified SSH server using attacker-specified credentials.
A missing permission check in Jenkins Chef Sinatra Plugin 1.20 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to have Jenkins send an HTTP request to an attacker-controlled URL and have it parse an XML response.
A missing check in Jenkins dbCharts Plugin 0.5.2 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified database via JDBC using attacker-specified credentials.
A security vulnerability has been detected in FastApiAdmin up to 2.2.0. This affects the function upload_controller of the file /backend/app/api/v1/module_common/file/controller.py of the component Scheduled Task API. Such manipulation leads to unrestricted upload. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. All unpatched versions of Argo CD starting with 1.0.0 are vulnerable to an improper access control bug, allowing a malicious user to potentially escalate their privileges to admin-level. Versions starting with 0.8.0 and 0.5.0 contain limited versions of this issue. To perform exploits, an authorized Argo CD user must have push access to an Application's source git or Helm repository or `sync` and `override` access to an Application. Once a user has that access, different exploitation levels are possible depending on their other RBAC privileges. A patch for this vulnerability has been released in Argo CD versions 2.3.2, 2.2.8, and 2.1.14. Some mitigation measures are available but do not serve as a substitute for upgrading. To avoid privilege escalation, limit who has push access to Application source repositories or `sync` + `override` access to Applications; and limit which repositories are available in projects where users have `update` access to Applications. To avoid unauthorized resource inspection/tampering, limit who has `delete`, `get`, or `action` access to Applications.
A flaw has been found in FastApiAdmin up to 2.2.0. This issue affects the function user_avatar_upload_controller of the file /backend/app/api/v1/module_system/user/controller.py of the component Scheduled Task API. Executing a manipulation can lead to unrestricted upload. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
WeKnora is an LLM-powered framework designed for deep document understanding and semantic retrieval. Prior to version 0.3.2, an authorization bypass in tenant management endpoints of WeKnora application allows any authenticated user to read, modify, or delete any tenant by ID. Since account registration is open to the public, this vulnerability allows any unauthenticated attacker to register an account and subsequently exploit the system. This enables cross-tenant account takeover and destruction, making the impact critical. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.2.
NATS nats-server before 2.7.2 has Incorrect Access Control. Any authenticated user can obtain the privileges of the System account by misusing the "dynamically provisioned sandbox accounts" feature.
Vito is a self-hosted web application that helps manage servers and deploy PHP applications into production servers. Prior to version 3.20.3, a missing authorization check in workflow site-creation actions allows an authenticated attacker with workflow write access in one project to create/manage sites on servers belonging to other projects by supplying a foreign server_id. This issue has been patched in version 3.20.3.
The Masteriyo LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.6. This is due to the plugin allowing a user to update the user role through the 'InstructorsController::prepare_object_for_database' function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Student-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to that of an administrator.
In Dolibarr ERP & CRM <= 22.0.4, PHP code detection and editing permission enforcement in the Website module is not applied consistently to all input parameters, allowing an authenticated user restricted to HTML/JavaScript editing to inject PHP code through unprotected inputs during website page creation.
The Administrator Z plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the adminz_import_backup() function in all versions up to, and including, 2025.03.24. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site. CVE-2025-26959 is a duplicate of this issue.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains a remote code execution vulnerability where a device-paired node can bypass the node scope gate authentication mechanism. Attackers with device pairing credentials can execute arbitrary node commands on the host system without proper node pairing validation.
An issue in RUoYi v.4.8.0 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the edit method of the /edit/{dictId} endpoint does not properly validate whether the requesting user has permission to modify the specified dictId
A CWE-862 "Missing Authorization" in maxprofile/users/routes.lua in Q-Free MaxTime less than or equal to version 2.11.0 allows an authenticated (low-privileged) attacker to reset passwords, including the ones of administrator accounts, via crafted HTTP requests.
A CWE-862 "Missing Authorization" in maxprofile/user-groups/routes.lua in Q-Free MaxTime less than or equal to version 2.11.0 allows an authenticated (low-privileged) attacker to add privileges to user groups via crafted HTTP requests.
