Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. From 1.3.0 to 2.28.1, unescaped Project Name allows an attacker that can set it (which typically requires manager or administrator access level) to inject HTML in Move Attachments admin page. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.28.2.
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. Prior to 2.28.2, using show_inline=1 parameter and a valid file_show_inline_token CSRF token on file_download.php, an attacker can execute code by uploading a crafted XHTML attachment referencing a JavaScript attachment. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.28.2.
The LinkedCustomFields plugin for MantisBT allows users to link values between two custom fields, creating linked drop-downs. Prior to version 2.0.1, cross-site scripting in the MantisBT LinkedCustomFields plugin allows Javascript execution, when a crafted Custom Field is linked via the plugin and displayed when reporting a new Issue or editing an existing one. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.1. As a workaround, one may utilize MantisBT's default Content Security Policy, which blocks script execution.

The proj_doc_edit_page.php Project Documentation feature in MantisBT before 2.21.3 has a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability, allowing execution of arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) after uploading an attachment with a crafted filename. The code is executed when editing the document's page.
An issue was discovered in MantisBT through 2.24.3. In the helper_ensure_confirmed call in manage_custom_field_update.php, the custom field name is not sanitized. This may be problematic depending on CSP settings.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the filter_draw_selection_area2 function in core/filter_api.php in MantisBT 1.2.12 before 1.2.13 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the match_type parameter to bugs/search.php.
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. From 1.0.0 to 2.28.1, lack of validation of filter_target parameter on return_dynamic_filters.php (normally used as an AJAX in View Issues Page) allows an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML if the target is a TEXTAREA custom field. Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In version 2.28.0, improper escaping of tag names retrieved from History in Timeline (my_view_page.php) allows an attacker to inject HTML and, if CSP settings permit, achieve execution of arbitrary JavaScript, when displaying a tag that has been renamed or deleted. Version 2.28.1 contains a patch. Workarounds include editing offending History entries (using SQL) and wrapping `$this->tag_name` in a string_html_specialchars() call in IssueTagTimelineEvent::html().

Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. Versions 2.11.0 through 2.28.1 allow any authenticated user to inject arbitrary HTML by updating their account's font family. Upon exploitation, an XSS payload would be reflected on every MantisBT page. Leveraging another vulnerability (CSP bypass, see GHSA-9c3j-xm6v-j7j3), the attacker could achieve account takeover. This issue has been fixed in version 2.28.2.
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In versions 2.11.0 through 2.28.1, a Stored XSS vulnerability is caused by incorrect escaping of a saved filter's owner, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML on systems where $g_show_user_realname = ON. Note that By default, only users with Manager access level or above can save their filters publicly. This issue has been fixed in version 2.28.2. If developers are unable to update immediately, they can work around this issue by preventing display of users' real names (set $g_ show_user_realname = OFF; in configuration), and restricting the ability to store filters (set $g_stored_query_create_threshold / $g_stored_query_create_shared_threshold to NOBODY).
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In versions 2.28.1 and below, improper escaping of the redirection page (retrieved from the request's Referer header) allows an attacker to inject HTML. While this is generally not directly actionable as modern browsers will URL-encode special characters, on some specific server configurations this could poison the cache, leading to cross-site scripting. This issue has been fixed in version 2.28.2.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Edit Filter page (manage_filter_edit page.php) in MantisBT 2.1.0 through 2.17.1 allows remote attackers (if access rights permit it) to inject arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) through a crafted project name.

An issue was discovered in the Source Integration plugin before 1.5.9 and 2.x before 2.1.5 for MantisBT. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Manage Repository and Changesets List pages allows execution of arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) via repo_manage_page.php or list.php.
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. Versions 2.28.1 and below contain flawed logic that causes improper escaping of a textarea custom field's contents in the Update Issue page, (bug_update_page.php) allowing an attacker to inject HTML and, if CSP settings permit, execute arbitrary JavaScript when the page is loaded. This facilitates session theft, leading to admin account takeover, full project data access. In order to exploit this issue, a textarea-type custom field must be configured for the project, the attack must be carried out by an authenticated user with bug report permission (low privilege). This can affect any user viewing the bug edit form, including administrators. The issue has been fixed in version 2.28.2. If users cannot immediately upgrade, they can work around the issue by using the default Content-Security Policy, which blocks script execution.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the View Filters page (view_filters_page.php) and Edit Filter page (manage_filter_edit_page.php) in MantisBT 2.1.0 through 2.17.0 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) through a crafted PATH_INFO. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2018-13055.
An issue was discovered in manage_filter_edit_page.php in MantisBT 2.x through 2.15.0. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Edit Filter page allows execution of arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) when displaying a filter with a crafted name (e.g., 'foobar" onclick="alert(1)').
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. Versions 2.28.1 and prior contain a Stored XSS vulnerability. When cloning an issue originating from a Project other than the current one, the clone form (bug_report_page.php) prepends the source Project name before the category selector without proper escaping, allowing an attacker able to to inject HTML if they can set the Project's name (which typically requires manager or administrator access level). This issue has been resolved in version 2.28.2.
Mantis Bug Tracker (MantisBT) is an open source issue tracker. In version 2.28.0, when deleting a Tag (tag_delete.php), improper escaping of its name when displaying the confirmation message allows an attacker to inject HTML and, if CSP settings permit, achieve execution of arbitrary JavaScript. Version 2.28.1 fixes the issue. Workarounds include reverting commit d6890320752ecf37bd74d11fe14fe7dc12335be9 and/or manually editing language files to remove the sprintf placeholder `%1$s` from `$s_tag_delete_message` string.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the View Filters page (view_filters_page.php) in MantisBT 2.1.0 through 2.15.0 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) through a crafted PATH_INFO.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the MantisBT (2.3.x before 2.3.2) Timeline include page, used in My View (my_view_page.php) and User Information (view_user_page.php) pages, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) through crafted PATH_INFO in a URL, due to use of unsanitized $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] to generate URLs.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the MantisBT Move Attachments page (move_attachments_page.php, part of admin tools) allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary code through a crafted 'type' parameter, if Content Security Protection (CSP) settings allows it. This is fixed in 1.3.9, 2.1.3, and 2.2.3. Note that this vulnerability is not exploitable if the admin tools directory is removed, as recommended in the "Post-installation and upgrade tasks" of the MantisBT Admin Guide. A reminder to do so is also displayed on the login page.
An XSS vulnerability in the MantisBT Source Integration Plugin (before 2.0.2) search result page allows an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript (if MantisBT's CSP settings permit it) by crafting any valid parameter.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in view_filters_page.php in MantisBT before 2.2.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript via the 'view_type' parameter.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the MantisBT Configuration Report page (adm_config_report.php) allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary code (if CSP settings permit it) through a crafted 'config_option' parameter. This is fixed in 1.3.9, 2.1.3, and 2.2.3.
