BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.39, src/bentoml/_internal/container/frontend/dockerfile/templates/base_v2.j2 interpolates docker.base_image raw with no escaping, newline filtering, or validation. A malicious bento.yaml with a multi-line docker.base_image value smuggles arbitrary Dockerfile directives into the generated Dockerfile, and bentoml containerize then runs docker build which executes the injected RUN directives on the victim host. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.39.
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.38, the Dockerfile generation function generate_containerfile() in src/bentoml/_internal/container/generate.py uses an unsandboxed jinja2.Environment with the jinja2.ext.do extension to render user-provided dockerfile_template files. When a victim imports a malicious bento archive and runs bentoml containerize, attacker-controlled Jinja2 template code executes arbitrary Python directly on the host machine, bypassing all container isolation. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.38.
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.38, the cloud deployment path in src/bentoml/_internal/cloud/deployment.py was not included in the fix for CVE-2026-33744. Line 1648 interpolates system_packages directly into a shell command using an f-string without any quoting. The generated script is uploaded to BentoCloud as setup.sh and executed on the cloud build infrastructure during deployment, making this a remote code execution on the CI/CD tier. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.38.
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.37, the `docker.system_packages` field in `bentofile.yaml` accepts arbitrary strings that are interpolated directly into Dockerfile `RUN` commands without sanitization. Since `system_packages` is semantically a list of OS package names (data), users do not expect values to be interpreted as shell commands. A malicious `bentofile.yaml` achieves arbitrary command execution during `bentoml containerize` / `docker build`. Version 1.4.37 fixes the issue.
A vulnerability was found in bentoml OpenLLM 0.6.30. This affects the function async_run_command of the file src/openllm/common.py of the component Model Repository Directory Name Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument cmd results in command injection. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 132, Firefox ESR 128.4, and Thunderbird 128.4. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 133, Firefox ESR < 128.5, Thunderbird < 133, and Thunderbird < 128.5.

vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Starting in version 0.10.1 and prior to version 0.14.0, vLLM loads Hugging Face `auto_map` dynamic modules during model resolution without gating on `trust_remote_code`, allowing attacker-controlled Python code in a model repo/path to execute at server startup. An attacker who can influence the model repo/path (local directory or remote Hugging Face repo) can achieve arbitrary code execution on the vLLM host during model load. This happens before any request handling and does not require API access. Version 0.14.0 fixes the issue.
When handling keypress events, an attacker may have been able to trick a user into bypassing the "Open Executable File?" confirmation dialog. This could have led to malicious code execution. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 133, Firefox ESR < 128.5, Thunderbird < 133, and Thunderbird < 128.5.
Vulnerability in dirhistory plugin Description: the widgets that go back and forward in the directory history, triggered by pressing Alt-Left and Alt-Right, use functions that unsafely execute eval on directory names. If you cd into a directory with a carefully-crafted name, then press Alt-Left, the system is subject to command injection. Impacted areas: - Functions pop_past and pop_future in dirhistory plugin.
Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. In versions and below, a vulnerability in the Cursor CLI Beta allowed an attacker to achieve remote code execution through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server mechanism by uploading a malicious MCP configuration in .cursor/mcp.json file in a GitHub repository. Once a victim clones the project and opens it using Cursor CLI, the command to run the malicious MCP server is immediately executed without any warning, leading to potential code execution as soon as the command runs. This issue is fixed in version 2025.09.17-25b418f.
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 121, Firefox ESR 115.6, and Thunderbird 115.6. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 122, Firefox ESR < 115.7, and Thunderbird < 115.7.
Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. In versions 1.7.28 and below, an input validation flaw in Cursor's MCP server installation enables specially crafted deep-links to bypass the standard security warnings and conceal executed commands from users if they choose to accept the server. If an attacker is able to convince a victim to navigate to a malicious deeplink, the victim will not see the correct speedbump modal, and if they choose to accept, will execute commands specified by the attackers deeplink.
An issue was discovered in RubyGems 2.6 and later through 3.0.2. A crafted gem with a multi-line name is not handled correctly. Therefore, an attacker could inject arbitrary code to the stub line of gemspec, which is eval-ed by code in ensure_loadable_spec during the preinstall check.
Atril is a simple multi-page document viewer. Atril is vulnerable to a critical Command Injection Vulnerability. This vulnerability gives the attacker immediate access to the target system when the target user opens a crafted document or clicks on a crafted link/URL using a maliciously crafted CBT document which is a TAR archive. A patch is available at commit ce41df6.
PHPJabbers Restaurant Booking System v3.0 is vulnerable to CSV Injection vulnerability which allows an attacker to execute remote code. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation on Languages section Labels any parameters field in System Options that is used to construct CSV file.

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. In affected versions it's possible to execute a content with the right of any user via a crafted URL. A user must have `programming` privileges in order to exploit this vulnerability. This issue has been patched in XWiki 14.10.7 and 15.2RC1. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for for this vulnerability.
An improper control of generation of code ('code injection') in Fortinet FortiClientLinux version 7.2.0, 7.0.6 through 7.0.10 and 7.0.3 through 7.0.4 allows attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via tricking a FortiClientLinux user into visiting a malicious website
In prepare_to_draw_into_mask of SkBlurMaskFilterImpl.cpp, there is a possible heap overflow due to improper input validation. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A flaw was found in SSSD, where the sssctl command was vulnerable to shell command injection via the logs-fetch and cache-expire subcommands. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the root user into running a specially crafted sssctl command, such as via sudo, to gain root access. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
A correctness issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14, Safari 17, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.
The superduper project thru v0.10.0 contains a critical remote code execution vulnerability in its query parsing component. The _parse_op_part() function in query.py uses the unsafe eval() function to dynamically evaluate user-supplied query operands without proper sanitization or restriction. Although the function attempts to limit the execution context by providing a restricted global namespace, it does not block access to dangerous built-in functions. A remote attacker can exploit this by submitting a specially crafted query string containing Python code that imports modules (e.g., os) and executes arbitrary system commands, leading to complete compromise of the server.
OS Command Injection vulnerability in bbultman gitsome through 0.2.3 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted tag name of the target git repository.
Poddycast is a podcast app made with Electron. Prior to version 0.8.1, an attacker can create a podcast or episode with malicious characters and execute commands on the client machine. The application does not clean the HTML characters of the podcast information obtained from the Feed, which allows the injection of HTML and JS code (cross-site scripting). Being an application made in electron, cross-site scripting can be scaled to remote code execution, making it possible to execute commands on the machine where the application is running. The vulnerability is patched in Poddycast version 0.8.1.
A host header injection vulnerability exists in gugoan's Economizzer v.0.9-beta1 and commit 3730880 (April 2023). By sending a specially crafted host header in the reset password request, it is possible to send password reset links to users which, once clicked, lead to an attacker-controlled server and thus leak the password reset token. This allows an attacker to reset other users' passwords.
A remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the Postgres Drivers component of iceScrum v7.54 Pro On-prem allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.
lifion-verify-dependencies through 1.1.0 is vulnerable to OS command injection via a crafted dependency name on the scanned project's package.json file.
An issue was discovered in Public Knowledge Project (PKP) pkp-lib before 3.1.2-2, as used in Open Journal Systems (OJS) before 3.1.2-2. Code injection can occur in the OJS report generator if an authenticated Journal Manager user visits a crafted URL, because unserialize is used.
Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. In versions 1.7 and below, a vulnerability in the way Cursor CLI Agent protects its sensitive files (i.e. */.cursor/cli.json) allows attackers to modify the content of the files through prompt injection, thus achieving remote code execution. A prompt injection can lead to full RCE through modifying sensitive files on case-insensitive filesystems. This issue is fixed in a commit, 25b418f, but has yet to be released as of October 3, 2025.
git-commiters is a Node.js function module providing committers stats for their git repository. Prior to version 0.1.2, there is a command injection vulnerability in git-commiters. This vulnerability manifests with the library's primary exported API: gitCommiters(options, callback) which allows specifying options such as cwd for current working directory and revisionRange as a revision pointer, such as HEAD. However, the library does not sanitize for user input or practice secure process execution API to separate commands from their arguments and as such, uncontrolled user input is concatenated into command execution. This issue has been patched in version 0.1.2.
A flaw was found with the libssh API function ssh_scp_new() in versions before 0.9.3 and before 0.8.8. When the libssh SCP client connects to a server, the scp command, which includes a user-provided path, is executed on the server-side. In case the library is used in a way where users can influence the third parameter of the function, it would become possible for an attacker to inject arbitrary commands, leading to a compromise of the remote target.
In Zmanda Management Console 3.3.9, ZMC_Admin_Advanced?form=adminTasks&action=Apply&command= allows CSRF, as demonstrated by command injection with shell metacharacters. This may depend on weak default credentials.
Adobe After Effects version 18.1 (and earlier) is affected by a potential Command injection vulnerability when chained with a development and debugging tool for JavaScript scripts. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. Versions before 1.0.111 were vulnerable to Code Injection due to a bug in the startup trust dialog implementation. Claude Code could be tricked to execute code contained in a project before the user accepted the startup trust dialog. Exploiting this requires a user to start Claude Code in an untrusted directory. Users on standard Claude Code auto-update will have received this fix automatically. Users performing manual updates are advised to update to the latest version. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.111.
Creacast Creabox Manager 4.4.4 contains a critical Remote Code Execution vulnerability accessible via the edit.php endpoint. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary Lua code into the configuration, which is then executed on the server. This allows full system compromise, including reverse shell execution or arbitrary command execution.
GNU Bash through 4.3 bash43-026 does not properly parse function definitions in the values of environment variables, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted environment, as demonstrated by vectors involving the ForceCommand feature in OpenSSH sshd, the mod_cgi and mod_cgid modules in the Apache HTTP Server, scripts executed by unspecified DHCP clients, and other situations in which setting the environment occurs across a privilege boundary from Bash execution. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-6271, CVE-2014-7169, and CVE-2014-6277.
An issue was discovered in Centreon before 18.10.8, 19.10.1, and 19.04.2. It allows CSRF with resultant remote command execution via shell metacharacters in a POST to centreon-autodiscovery-server/views/scan/ajax/call.php in the Autodiscovery plugin.
The "gitDiff" function in Wayfair git-parse <=1.0.4 has a command injection vulnerability. Clients of the git-parse library are unlikely to be aware of this, so they might unwittingly write code that contains a vulnerability. The issue has been resolved in version 1.0.5.
A vulnerability exists that could allow the execution of operating system commands on systems running MiPlatform 2019.05.16 and earlier. An attacker could execute arbitrary remote command by sending parameters to WinExec function in ExtCommandApi.dll module of MiPlatform.
This affects the package @graphql-tools/git-loader before 6.2.6. The use of exec and execSync in packages/loaders/git/src/load-git.ts allows arbitrary command injection.
Dolibarr ERP & CRM v21.0.1 were discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in the User module configuration via the computed field parameter.
A flaw was found in IPA, all 4.6.x versions before 4.6.7, all 4.7.x versions before 4.7.4 and all 4.8.x versions before 4.8.3, in the way the internal function ber_scanf() was used in some components of the IPA server, which parsed kerberos key data. An unauthenticated attacker who could trigger parsing of the krb principal key could cause the IPA server to crash or in some conditions, cause arbitrary code to be executed on the server hosting the IPA server.
muffon is a cross-platform music streaming client for desktop. Versions prior to 2.3.0 have a one-click Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in. An attacker can exploit this issue by embedding a specially crafted `muffon://` link on any website they control. When a victim visits the site or clicks the link, the browser triggers Muffon’s custom URL handler, causing the application to launch and process the URL. This leads to RCE on the victim's machine without further interaction. Version 2.3.0 patches the issue.
The RESTful Web Services (restws) module 7.x-1.x before 7.x-1.4 and 7.x-2.x before 7.x-2.1 for Drupal does not properly restrict access to entity write operations, which makes it easier for remote authenticated users with the "access resource node" and "create page content" permissions (or equivalents) to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) or execute arbitrary PHP code via a crafted text field.
Fortra BoKS Manager contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the client upgrade and patch tooling for legacy tar-based client installations. A malicious or compromised legacy tar-installed client selected for upgrade or patching may be able to cause commands to be executed on the BoKS Master during client version handling.
AgentFlow contains an arbitrary code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to execute local Python pipeline files by supplying a user-controlled pipeline_path parameter to the POST /api/runs and POST /api/runs/validate endpoints. Attackers can induce requests to the local AgentFlow API to load and execute existing Python pipeline files on disk, resulting in code execution in the context of the user running AgentFlow.
