Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, TwilioRequestParser::doParse() received the configured webhook secret but ignored the X-Twilio-Signature HMAC header, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Twilio status payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, MailtrapRequestParser::doParse() received the configured webhook secret but ignored the X-Mt-Signature HMAC header, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Mailtrap delivery, bounce, open, click, or spam events. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.12 and 8.0.12.
Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 7.4.13 and 8.0.13, MailomatRequestParser::validateSignature() parsed X-MOM-Webhook-Signature as algo=signature and passed the request-selected algorithm to hash_hmac(), allowing a signature algorithm downgrade instead of enforcing Mailomat's documented SHA-256 webhook signature. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.13 and 8.0.13.
Symfony UX is a JavaScript ecosystem for Symfony. From 2.8.0 until 2.36.0 and 3.1.0, when a #[LiveProp] is typed as DateTimeInterface and no explicit format is configured, Symfony\UX\LiveComponent\LiveComponentHydrator::hydrateObjectValue() falls back to new $className($value), allowing client-supplied relative strings such as now, tomorrow, or +10 years to move a writable, format-less date prop past time-based business logic checks. This issue is fixed in versions 2.36.0 and 3.1.0.
Symfony UX is a JavaScript ecosystem for Symfony. From 2.8.0 until 2.36.0 and 3.1.0, the HMAC computed by Symfony\UX\LiveComponent\LiveComponentHydrator covered only sorted prop key/value pairs and did not include the component name, the slot identifier (props vs propsFromParent), or request context, allowing a signed blob minted for one component or slot to be replayed in another and set a read-only prop on a target component. This issue is fixed in versions 2.36.0 and 3.1.0.
Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. A vulnerability related to firewall authentication is in Symfony starting with version 5.3.0 and prior to 5.3.2. When an application defines multiple firewalls, the token authenticated by one of the firewalls was available for all other firewalls. This could be abused when the application defines different providers for each part of the application, in such a situation, a user authenticated on a part of the application could be considered authenticated on the rest of the application. Starting in version 5.3.2, a patch ensures that the authenticated token is only available for the firewall that generates it.
In Symfony before 2.7.51, 2.8.x before 2.8.50, 3.x before 3.4.26, 4.x before 4.1.12, and 4.2.x before 4.2.7, a vulnerability would allow an attacker to authenticate as a privileged user on sites with user registration and remember me login functionality enabled. This is related to symfony/security.
Symphony process is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which executes commands in sub-processes. When consuming a persisted remember-me cookie, Symfony does not check if the username persisted in the database matches the username attached with the cookie, leading to authentication bypass. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.4.47, 6.4.15, and 7.1.8.
symfony/security-bundle is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which provides a tight integration of the Security component into the Symfony full-stack framework. The custom `user_checker` defined on a firewall is not called when Login Programmaticaly with the `Security::login` method, leading to unwanted login. As of versions 6.4.10, 7.0.10 and 7.1.3 the `Security::login` method now ensure to call the configured `user_checker`. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
An issue was discovered in the Ldap component in Symfony 2.8.x before 2.8.37, 3.3.x before 3.3.17, 3.4.x before 3.4.7, and 4.0.x before 4.0.7. It allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by logging in with a "null" password and valid username, which triggers an unauthenticated bind. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-2403.
Symfony before 2.8.6 and 3.x before 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by logging in with an empty password and valid username, which triggers an unauthenticated bind.

The SALESmanago plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Log Injection in versions up to, and including, 3.2.4. This is due to the use of a weak authentication token for the /wp-json/salesmanago/v1/callbackApiV3 API endpoint which is simply a SHA1 hash of the site URL and client ID found in the page source of the website. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary content into the log files, and when combined with another vulnerability this could have significant consequences.
Missing Authentication in Apache Software Foundation Apache OFBiz when using the Solr plugin. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 18.12.09. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 18.12.09

WebAuthn4J Spring Security provides Web Authentication specification support for Spring applications. Affected versions are subject to improper signature counter value handling. A flaw was found in webauthn4j-spring-security-core. When an authneticator returns an incremented signature counter value during authentication, webauthn4j-spring-security-core does not properly persist the value, which means cloned authenticator detection does not work. An attacker who cloned valid authenticator in some way can use the cloned authenticator without being detected. This issue has been addressed in version `0.9.1.RELEASE`. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A flaw was found in keycloak as shipped in Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.4 where IDN homograph attacks are possible. A malicious user can register himself with a name already registered and trick admin to grant him extra privileges.
The WordPress plugin, Email Subscribers & Newsletters, before 4.2.3 had a flaw that allowed for unauthenticated option creation. In order to exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to send a /wp-admin/admin-post.php?es_skip=1&option_name= request.

A vulnerability in the protocol detection component of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software, Cisco FirePOWER Services Software for ASA, and Cisco Firepower Management Center Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass filtering protections. The vulnerability is due to improper detection of the initial use of a protocol on a nonstandard port. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic on a nonstandard port for the protocol in use through an affected device. An exploit could allow the attacker to bypass filtering and deliver malicious requests to protected systems that would otherwise be blocked. Once the initial protocol flow on the nonstandard port is detected, future flows on the nonstandard port will be successfully detected and handled as configured by the applied policy.
A vulnerability in access control list (ACL) functionality of the Gigabit Ethernet Management interface of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to reach the configured IP addresses on the Gigabit Ethernet Management interface. The vulnerability is due to a logic error that was introduced in the Cisco IOS XE Software 16.1.1 Release, which prevents the ACL from working when applied against the management interface. An attacker could exploit this issue by attempting to access the device via the management interface.

Multiple vulnerabilities exist in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers. A remote attacker could execute arbitrary commands or bypass authentication and upload files on an affected device. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
Russh is a Rust SSH client & server library. From version 0.34.0-beta.1 to before version 0.61.0, the russh server authentication path keeps internal userauth state across SSH_MSG_USERAUTH_REQUEST messages without separating that state when the request principal changes. RFC 4252 allows the user name and service name fields to change between authentication requests. The issue is not that such changes are invalid. The issue is that russh-owned authentication state, such as remaining methods, partial-success state, and in-progress method state, can remain associated with the connection and then influence a later request for a different (user, service). This is an internal library state mismatch. This issue has been patched in version 0.61.0.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco HyperFlex HX Data Platform could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to upload files to an affected device. This vulnerability is due to missing authentication for the upload function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specific HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to upload files to the affected device with the permissions of the tomcat8 user.

TREK is a collaborative travel planner. Prior to 2.7.2, TREK served uploaded photos without requiring authentication. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.7.2.
Talishar is a fan-made Flesh and Blood project. Prior to commit a9c218e, an authentication bypass vulnerability in Talishar's game endpoint validation logic allows any unauthenticated attacker to perform authenticated game actions — including sending chat messages and submitting game inputs — by supplying an empty authKey parameter (authKey=). The server-side validation uses a loose comparison that accepts an empty string as a valid credential, while correctly rejecting non-empty but incorrect keys. This asymmetry means the authentication mechanism can be completely bypassed without knowing any valid token. This issue has been patched in commit a9c218e.
Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From the maple release to before the ulmo release, an unauthenticated attacker can fully bypass the email verification process by combining two issues: the OAuth2 password grant issuing tokens to inactive users (documented behavior) and the activation_key being exposed in the REST API response at /api/user/v1/accounts/. This issue has been patched in the ulmo release.
