Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-grpc grpc allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust the BEAM's memory and crash the server by streaming a large or slow-trickle unary request body. 'Elixir.GRPC.Server.Adapters.Cowboy.Handler':read_full_body/3 (lib/grpc/server/adapters/cowboy/handler.ex) accumulates every received chunk into a single growing binary with no size cap. Additionally, when the client omits the grpc-timeout header, the per-chunk read timeout resolves to :infinity, allowing a slow-trickle client to keep the connection alive indefinitely while memory grows. A single connection is sufficient to exhaust server memory and crash the node. This issue affects grpc from 0.3.1 before 1.0.0.
SPIP before 4.4.9 allows Insecure Deserialization in the public area through the table_valeur filter and the DATA iterator, which accept serialized data. An attacker who can place malicious serialized content (a pre-condition requiring prior access or another vulnerability) can trigger arbitrary object instantiation and potentially achieve code execution. The use of serialized data in these components has been deprecated and will be removed in SPIP 5. This vulnerability is not mitigated by the SPIP security screen.
Qwik is a performance focused javascript framework. qwik <=1.19.0 is vulnerable to RCE due to an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the server$ RPC mechanism that allows any unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the server with a single HTTP request. Affects any deployment where require() is available at runtime. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.19.1.
manga-image-translator contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the shared API server mode due to unsafe deserialization of untrusted pickle data in the share.py module, where the /execute/{method_name} and /simple_execute/{method_name} endpoints deserialize attacker-controlled HTTP request bodies using pickle.loads(). A remote attacker can supply a crafted pickle payload to these endpoints to execute arbitrary code in the server process, resulting in full container compromise when running in the default Docker deployment as root.
AI Tensor Engine for ROCm (AITER) through 0.1.14 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the MessageQueue.recv() function within shm_broadcast.py that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a malicious pickle payload to a ZMQ SUB socket with no authentication, HMAC, or format validation. Attackers who can reach the writer XPUB endpoint on the cluster network or supply a forged Handle with an attacker-controlled remote_subscribe_addr can deliver a crafted pickle payload that executes arbitrary code simultaneously as the inference worker process on every remote reader worker.
The extension passes an attacker-controlled cookie directly to PHP's unserialize() without safely processing the input. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can supply a crafted serialized payload to trigger PHP Object Injection, leading to Remote Code Execution on the TYPO3 server. Exploitation requires the content element to be configured with "Persistent Mode: Static" in the plugin settings.
pac4j is a security framework for Java. `pac4j-core` prior to version 4.0.0 is affected by a Java deserialization vulnerability. The vulnerability affects systems that store externally controlled values in attributes of the `UserProfile` class from pac4j-core. It can be exploited by providing an attribute that contains a serialized Java object with a special prefix `{#sb64}` and Base64 encoding. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in the worst case. Although a `RestrictedObjectInputStream` is in place, that puts some restriction on what classes can be deserialized, it still allows a broad range of java packages and potentially exploitable with different gadget chains. pac4j versions 4.0.0 and greater are not affected by this issue. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. Prior to 1.30.5, CVE-2026-34084 was patched by the helper File::prohibitWrappers. The helper calls parse_url($filename, PHP_URL_SCHEME) and then checks is_string($scheme) && strlen($scheme) > 1 to reject stream wrappers such as phar://, php://, data:// or expect://. The check is not equivalent to "does the path contain a wrapper". When the input has the form phar:///path/file.phar/inner with three or more slashes after the scheme, parse_url returns boolean false instead of returning the scheme string. The is_string($scheme) branch is therefore skipped, the helper returns without throwing, and the caller proceeds. PHP's stream layer, however, still treats phar:///... as a valid phar wrapper and opens the underlying phar file. The result is that IOFactory::load($attackerPath) walks past the patch and still touches the phar wrapper. On PHP 7.x, simply reaching the phar wrapper via is_file is enough for PHP to automatically deserialize the phar metadata, which in turn invokes the magic methods __wakeup and __destruct of an attacker controlled object and gives full RCE. On PHP 8.x, automatic metadata deserialization for plain file ops was removed, so the chain at the PhpSpreadsheet layer reduces to a phar wrapper file read primitive, and RCE only resurfaces if the downstream consumer ever calls Phar::getMetadata. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.30.5.
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before version 15.0.4 insecurely deserializes untrusted data, which can be reached from the new GINA UI and may allow unauthenticated remote attackers to execute code via a crafted serialized object.
PhpSpreadsheet is a library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. In versions 1.30.2 and earlier, 2.0.0 through 2.1.14, 2.2.0 through 2.4.3, 3.3.0 through 3.10.3, and 4.0.0 through 5.5.0, when the filename argument to IOFactory::load() is user-controlled, an attacker can supply a PHP stream wrapper path (such as phar://, ftp://, or ssh2.sftp://) that passes the is_file() check in File::assertFile(). The phar:// wrapper triggers deserialization of the PHAR metadata, which can lead to remote code execution if a suitable gadget chain is available in the application. The ftp:// and ssh2.sftp:// wrappers can be used for server-side request forgery. This issue has been fixed in versions 1.30.3, 2.1.15, 2.4.4, 3.10.4, and 5.6.0.
Newforma Project Center Server (NPCS) accepts serialized .NET data via the '/ProjectCenter.rem' endpoint on 9003/tcp, allowing a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with 'NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService' privileges. According to the recommended architecture, the vulnerable NPCS endpoint is only accessible on an internal network. To mitigate this vulnerability, restrict network access to NPCS.
Schema parsing in the Java SDK of Apache Avro 1.11.3 and previous versions allows bad actors to execute arbitrary code. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.11.4 or 1.12.0, which fix this issue.
