Mercator CVE Configuration Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)

Mercator is an open source web application that enables mapping of the information system. Prior to version 2025.05.19, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Mercator's CVE configuration panel (`/admin/config/parameters`). The `testProvider()` method in `ConfigurationController` passes user-supplied input directly to `curl_init()` without validating the scheme, hostname, or destination IP address. An authenticated user with the `configure` permission can force the Mercator server to issue arbitrary outbound network requests. The suffix `/api/dbInfo` appended to the URL can be bypassed by injecting a `#` fragment character (e.g. `http://TARGET/PATH#`), allowing full control over the target URL. No scheme whitelist, host whitelist, or private/loopback IP block is applied. The `telnet://` scheme can be used for internal port scanning; the `gopher://` scheme enables interaction with unauthenticated internal services (Redis, Memcached), potentially leading to Remote Code Execution under specific deployment conditions. Version 2025.05.19 patches the issue.

Budibase: Unvalidated VectorDB Host Parameter Enables SSRF

Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.35.3, the VectorDB configuration endpoint in Budibase accepts a host parameter that undergoes no validation against internal IP ranges, reserved hostnames, or URL schemes. Any authenticated user with builder-level access can supply an arbitrary host value such as 169.254.169.254 or localhost, causing the server to initiate outbound TCP connections to internal network addresses or cloud metadata endpoints on their behalf. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.35.3.

Lychee has SSRF bypass via incomplete IP validation in Photo::fromUrl — loopback and link-local IPs not blocked

Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. The patch introduced for GHSA-cpgw-wgf3-xc6v (SSRF via `Photo::fromUrl`) contains an incomplete IP validation check that fails to block loopback addresses and link-local addresses. Prior to version 7.5.1, an authenticated user can still reach internal services using direct IP addresses, bypassing all four protection configuration settings even when they are set to their secure defaults. Version 7.5.1 contains a fix for the issue.

Discourse: Group SMTP test endpoint susceptible to SSRF

Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. From versions 2026.1.0-latest to before 2026.1.3, 2026.2.0-latest to before 2026.2.2, and 2026.3.0-latest to before 2026.3.0, the group email settings test endpoint could be used to make the server initiate outbound connections to arbitrary hosts and ports. This could allow probing of internal network infrastructure. The endpoint was accessible to non-staff group owners. This issue has been patched in versions 2026.1.3, 2026.2.2, and 2026.3.0.

Open WebUI - Server-Side Request Forgery via Location Redirect in /api/v1/retrieval/process/web

Open WebUI before 0.6.27 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the /api/v1/retrieval/process/web endpoint that allows authenticated users to bypass SSRF protections. Attackers can manipulate URL parameters with location redirect headers to access internal services and potentially execute commands via instance secrets.

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) allowing Internal Network Probing in linqi

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the custom process creation feature of linqi allows an authenticated attacker to probe internal network components. By crafting a specific process containing an HTTP Request component, an attacker can force the server to send arbitrary HTTP requests. By observing the varying application responses (Success, Failed, or 504 Gateway Time-out), the attacker can determine the status of internal ports, leading to internal network reconnaissance.

Weblate is Vulnerable to Authenticated SSRF via Project Backup Import bypassing validate_repo_url

Weblate is a web based localization tool. Prior to version 5.17.1, an authenticated user with project.add permission (default on hosted Weblate SaaS and for any user holding an active billing/trial plan) can import a crafted project backup ZIP whose components/<name>.json contains an attacker-chosen repo URL pointing at a private address (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:9999/) or using a non-allow-listed scheme (e.g. file://, git://). Weblate persists the component via Component.objects.bulk_create([component])[0], which bypasses Django's full_clean() and therefore never runs the validate_repo_url validator. The URL is subsequently written verbatim into .git/config by configure_repo(pull=False). This issue has been patched in version 5.17.1.
