Arbitrary HTML injection in discourse-mermaid-theme-component

Discourse Mermaid (discourse-mermaid-theme-component) allows users of Discourse, open-source forum software, to create graphs using the Mermaid syntax. Users of discourse-mermaid-theme-component version 1.0.0 who can create posts are able to inject arbitrary HTML on that post. The issue has been fixed on the `main` branch of the GitHub repository, with 1.1.0 named as a patched version. Admins can update the theme component through the admin UI. As a workaround, admins can temporarily disable discourse-mermaid-theme-component.

Discourse-Jira could make SSRF attack by setting Jira URL to an arbitrary location

Discourse-jira is a Discourse plugin allows Jira projects, issue types, fields and field options will be synced automatically. An administrator user can make an SSRF attack by setting the Jira URL to an arbitrary location and enabling the `discourse_jira_verbose_log` site setting. A moderator user could manipulate the request path to the Jira API, allowing them to perform arbitrary GET requests using the Jira API credentials, potentially with elevated permissions, used by the application.

Possible Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in webhooks

Discourse is a platform for community discussion. A malicious admin could use this vulnerability to perform port enumeration on the local host or other hosts on the internal network, as well as against hosts on the Internet. Latest `stable`, `beta`, and `test-passed` versions are now patched. As a workaround, self-hosters can use `DISCOURSE_BLOCKED_IP_BLOCKS` env var (which overrides `blocked_ip_blocks` setting) to stop webhooks from accessing private IPs.

Discourse's SSRF protection missing for some FastImage requests

Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to version 3.1.0.beta3 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches, some user provided URLs were being passed to FastImage without SSRF protection. Insufficient protections could enable attackers to trigger outbound network connections from the Discourse server to private IP addresses. This affects any site running the `tests-passed` or `beta` branches versions 3.1.0.beta2 and prior. This issue is patched in version 3.1.0.beta3 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. OpenClaw 2026.4.20 < 2026.5.28 Policy Bypass via Media Upload

OpenClaw 2026.4.20 before 2026.5.28 contain a policy bypass in the QQBot media upload feature. A lower-trust caller or configured input path could cause the media upload to reach network destinations that should have been blocked by OpenClaw policy (server-side request forgery). The practical impact depends on the operator's configuration and whether lower-trust input can reach that path.

SSRF in CSV Datasource Plugin

Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. The CSV datasource plugin is a Grafana Labs maintained plugin for Grafana that allows for retrieving and processing CSV data from a remote endpoint configured by an administrator. If this plugin was configured to send requests to a bare host with no path (e.g. https://www.example.com/ https://www.example.com/` ), requests to an endpoint other than the one configured by the administrator could be triggered by a specially crafted request from any user, resulting in an SSRF vector. UsersWP <= 1.2.58 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Server-Side Request Forgery via 'uwp_crop' Parameter

The UsersWP – Front-end login form, User Registration, User Profile & Members Directory plugin for WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.58. This is due to insufficient URL origin validation in the process_image_crop() method when processing avatar/banner image crop operations. The function accepts a user-controlled URL via the uwp_crop POST parameter and only validates it using esc_url() for sanitization and wp_check_filetype() for extension verification, without enforcing that the URL references a local uploads file. The URL is then passed to uwp_resizeThumbnailImage() which uses it in PHP image processing functions (getimagesize(), imagecreatefrom*()) that support URL wrappers and perform outbound HTTP requests. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to coerce the WordPress server into making arbitrary HTTP requests to attacker-controlled or internal network destinations, enabling internal network scanning and potential access to sensitive services.

Mercator CVE Configuration Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)

Mercator is an open source web application that enables mapping of the information system. Prior to version 2025.05.19, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Mercator's CVE configuration panel (`/admin/config/parameters`). The `testProvider()` method in `ConfigurationController` passes user-supplied input directly to `curl_init()` without validating the scheme, hostname, or destination IP address. An authenticated user with the `configure` permission can force the Mercator server to issue arbitrary outbound network requests. The suffix `/api/dbInfo` appended to the URL can be bypassed by injecting a `#` fragment character (e.g. `http://TARGET/PATH#`), allowing full control over the target URL. No scheme whitelist, host whitelist, or private/loopback IP block is applied. The `telnet://` scheme can be used for internal port scanning; the `gopher://` scheme enables interaction with unauthenticated internal services (Redis, Memcached), potentially leading to Remote Code Execution under specific deployment conditions. Version 2025.05.19 patches the issue.

Local Deep Research: SSRF bypass in `safe_get`

Local Deep Research is an AI-powered research assistant for deep, iterative research. Prior to 1.6.10, the URL checking logic in local-deep-research has a logical flaw that could be bypassed by attackers, leading to SSRF attacks. The current project uses validate_url to validate the input URL. The main logic is to perform security checks on the host portion of the URL extracted by urlparse to prevent SSRF attacks. However, there are indeed differences in parsing between urlparse and the library that actually sends the request. For example, in safe_get, validate_url is first used to perform an SSRF check, and then requests.get is used to send the actual request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.6.10.

Weblate is Vulnerable to Authenticated SSRF via Project Backup Import bypassing validate_repo_url

Weblate is a web based localization tool. Prior to version 5.17.1, an authenticated user with project.add permission (default on hosted Weblate SaaS and for any user holding an active billing/trial plan) can import a crafted project backup ZIP whose components/<name>.json contains an attacker-chosen repo URL pointing at a private address (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:9999/) or using a non-allow-listed scheme (e.g. file://, git://). Weblate persists the component via Component.objects.bulk_create([component])[0], which bypasses Django's full_clean() and therefore never runs the validate_repo_url validator. The URL is subsequently written verbatim into .git/config by configure_repo(pull=False). This issue has been patched in version 5.17.1.

mosparo: Rule package source URL stored SSRF enables internal HTTP probing

mosparo is the modern solution to protect your online forms from spam. Prior to 1.4.13, the automatic rule package source URL feature allows a project member with the editor role to store an attacker-controlled URL that the server later fetches. LinkAce has SSRF via CheckLinksCommand - Link URL Update Bypasses laravel-html-meta Protection

LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Prior to 2.5.4, LinkRepository::update and CheckLinksCommand::checkLink do not check for private IPs. An authenticated user can read responses from internal services (AWS IMDSv1, cloud metadata, internal APIs) by creating a link with a public URL and then updating it to a private IP. SillyTavern: Incomplete IP validation in /api/search/visit allows SSRF via localhost and IPv6

SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, in src/endpoints/search.js, the hostname is checked against /^\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+$/. This only matches literal dotted-quad IPv4 (e.g. 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.1). It does not catch: localhost (hostname, not dotted-quad), [::1] (IPv6 loopback), and DNS names resolving to internal addresses (e.g. localtest.me -> 127.0.0.1). A separate port check (urlObj.port !== '') limits exploitation to services on default ports (80/443), making this lower severity than a fully unrestricted SSRF. Frappe: Possible SSRF by any authenticated user

Frappe is a full-stack web application framework. Prior to 14.100.1, 15.100.0, and 16.6.0, a malicious user could send a crafted request to an endpoint which would lead to the server making an HTTP call to a service of the user's choice. This vulnerability is fixed in 14.100.1, 15.100.0, and 16.6.0.

SSRF via image import from URL allows internal network probing by authenticated users

In Canonical LXD versions 4.12 through 6.9, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the image import functionality allows authenticated users with the can_create_images entitlement to interact with internal network infrastructure via the /images endpoint. When importing an image from a URL source, the LXD daemon fails to validate or restrict outbound destination IP addresses, allowing connections to loopback, RFC1918 private ranges, and cloud metadata endpoints. This enables error-based port scanning and unauthorized interaction with internal HTTP services from the daemon's network position.

HomeBox affected by Blind SSRF

HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Prior to 0.24.0-rc.1, the notifier functionality allows authenticated users to specify arbitrary URLs to which the application sends HTTP POST requests. No validation or restriction is applied to the supplied host, IP address, or port. Although the application does not return the response body from the target service, its UI behavior differs depending on the network state of the destination. This creates a behavioral side-channel that enables internal service enumeration. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.24.0-rc.1.

ClipBucket v5 enables internal network scans via an SSRF vulnerability

ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to 5.5.3 - #45, in Clip Bucket V5, The Remote Play allows creating video entries that reference external video URLs without uploading the video files to the server. However, by specifying an internal network host in the video URL, an SSRF can be triggered, causing GET requests to be sent to internal servers. An attacker can exploit this to scan the internal network. Even a regular (non-privileged) user can carry out the attack.

Twenty: SSRF protection bypass via HTTP redirect following in secure HTTP client

Twenty is an open source CRM. Prior to version 1.18, the SSRF protection in SecureHttpClientService validated request URLs at the request level but did not validate redirect targets. An authenticated user who could control outbound request URLs (e.g., webhook endpoints, image URLs) could bypass private IP blocking by redirecting through an attacker-controlled server. This issue has been patched in version 1.18.

Responsive Lightbox & Gallery <= 2.7.1 - Authenticated (Author+) Server-Side Request Forgery via Remote Library Image Upload

The Responsive Lightbox & Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.1. This is due to the use of `strpos()` for substring-based hostname validation instead of strict host comparison in the `ajax_upload_image()` function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application, which can be used to query and modify information from internal services.

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) allowing Internal Network Probing in linqi

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the custom process creation feature of linqi allows an authenticated attacker to probe internal network components. By crafting a specific process containing an HTTP Request component, an attacker can force the server to send arbitrary HTTP requests. By observing the varying application responses (Success, Failed, or 504 Gateway Time-out), the attacker can determine the status of internal ports, leading to internal network reconnaissance.
