Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.0, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows any authenticated user with model creation permission (workspace.models) to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any other user (including admins) who views the malicious model in the chat UI. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.0.
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.8.0, Excel file attachments are previewed in an unsafe way. A crafted XLSX file payload can be used to cause the sheetjs function sheet_to_html to embed an XSS payload into the generated HTML. This is subsequently added to the DOM unsanitized via @html causing the payload to trigger. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.0.
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.
YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5 and 3.2.12, the thread posting and reply feature accepts user-supplied content via a a post or reply that is stored server-side and later rendered back into the thread page without adequate HTML sanitization or contextual output encoding. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.2.12.
InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. In affected versions of InvenTree it is possible for a registered user to store javascript in markdown notes fields, which are then displayed to other logged in users who visit the same page and executed. The vulnerability has been addressed as follows: 1. HTML sanitization has been enabled in the front-end markdown rendering library - `easymde`. 2. Stored markdown is also validated on the backend, to ensure that malicious markdown is not stored in the database. These changes are available in release versions 0.16.5 and later. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no workarounds, an update is required to get the new validation functions.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in OpenText NetIQ Access Manager leads to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack. This issue affects Access Manager before 5.0.4.1 and 5.1.
Outline is a service that allows for collaborative documentation. From 0.84.0 to 1.6.1, the Outline comment section permits users to mention other users; however, the backend does not validate or sanitize the href attribute associated with these mentions. As a result, potentially dangerous protocols (e.g., javascript:) are not filtered, introducing a risk of client-side code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0.
Persistent Cross Site Scripting in Web Applications operating on Business-DNA Solutions GmbH’s TopEase® Platform Version <= 7.1.27 via the Search Functionality allows authenticated users with Object Modification privileges to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript in object attributes, which is then rendered in the Search Functionality, to alter the intended functionality and steal cookies, the latter allowing for account takeover.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 6.5.3, a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in ChurchCRM's Note Editor allows authenticated users with note-adding permissions to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of other users' browsers, including administrators. This can lead to session hijacking, privilege escalation, and unauthorized access to sensitive church member data. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.5.3.
Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform Versions up to and including 1.3.3 render user-supplied flow YAML metadata fields — description, inputs[].displayName, inputs[].description — through the Markdown.vue component instantiated with html: true. The resulting HTML is injected into the DOM via Vue's v-html without any sanitization. This allows a flow author to embed arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user who views or interacts with the flow. This is distinct from GHSA-r36c-83hm-pc8j / CVE-2026-29082, which covers only FilePreview.vue rendering .md files from execution outputs. The present finding affects different components, different data sources, and requires significantly less user interaction (zero-click for input.displayName). As of time of publication, it is unclear if a patch is available.
A vulnerability has been identified in Teamcenter V2312 (All versions < V2312.0014), Teamcenter V2406 (All versions < V2406.0012), Teamcenter V2412 (All versions < V2412.0009), Teamcenter V2506 (All versions < V2506.0005), Teamcenter V2512 (All versions). The affected application does not properly encode or filter user-supplied data. This could allow an attacker to inject malicious code that can be executed by other users when they visit the affected page.
The BusinessConnect UI component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO BusinessConnect contains an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack on the affected system. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO BusinessConnect: versions 7.3.0 and below.
Filament is a collection of full-stack components for accelerated Laravel development. Versions 4.0.0 through 4.8.4 and 5.0.0 through 5.3.4 have two Filament Table summarizers (Range, Values) that render raw database values without escaping HTML. If there is a lack of validation for the data in the columns that use these summarizers, an attacker could plant malicious HTML / JavaScript and achieve stored XSS that executes for users who view the table with those summarizers. This issue has been patched in versions 4.8.5 and 5.3.5.
Kestra is an event-driven orchestration platform. In versions from 1.1.10 and prior, Kestra’s execution-file preview renders user-supplied Markdown (.md) with markdown-it instantiated as html:true and injects the resulting HTML with Vue’s v-html without sanitisation. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to version 0.7.0, aanually modifying chat history allows setting the `html` property within document metadata. This causes the frontend to enter a code path that treats document contents as HTML, and render them in an iFrame when the citation is previewed. This allows stored XSS via a weaponized document payload in a chat. The payload also executes when the citation is viewed on a shared chat. Version 0.7.0 fixes the issue.
Outline is an open source, collaborative document editor. A type confusion issue was found in ProseMirror’s rendering process that leads to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Outline. An authenticated user can create a document containing a malicious JavaScript payload. When other users view this document, the malicious Javascript can execute in the origin of Outline. Outline includes CSP rules to prevent third-party code execution, however in the case of self-hosting and having your file storage on the same domain as Outline a malicious payload can be uploaded as a file attachment and bypass those CSP restrictions. This issue has been addressed in release version 0.77.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A stored XSS issue was discovered in Archer Platform 6 before version 2024.06. A remote authenticated malicious Archer user could potentially exploit this to store malicious HTML or JavaScript code in a trusted application data store. When victim users access the data store through their browsers, the malicious code gets executed by the web browser in the context of the vulnerable application. 6.14 P4 (6.14.0.4) is also a fixed release.
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to version 0.6.44, aanually modifying chat history allows setting the `embeds` property on a response message, the content of which is loaded into an iFrame with a sandbox that has `allow-scripts` and `allow-same-origin` set, ignoring the "iframe Sandbox Allow Same Origin" configuration. This enables stored XSS on the affected chat. This also triggers when the chat is in the shared format. The result is a shareable link containing the payload that can be distributed to any other users on the instance. Version 0.6.44 fixes the issue.
Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to version 0.14.2, an attacker can store an HTML/JavaScript payload in a repository’s Milestone name, and when another user selects that Milestone on the New Issue page (/issues/new), a DOM-Based XSS is triggered. This issue has been patched in version 0.14.2.
HotCRP is conference review software. HotCRP versions from October 2025 through January 2026 delivered documents of all types with inline Content-Disposition, causing them to be rendered in the user’s browser rather than downloaded. (The intended behavior was for only `text/plain`, `application/pdf`, `image/gif`, `image/jpeg`, and `image/png` to be delivered inline, though adding `save=0` to the document URL could request inline delivery for any document.) This made users who clicked a document link vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks. An uploaded HTML or SVG document would run in the viewer’s browser with access to their HotCRP credentials, and Javascript in that document could eventually make arbitrary calls to HotCRP’s API. Malicious documents could be uploaded to submission fields with “file upload” or “attachment” type, or as attachments to comments. PDF upload fields were not vulnerable. A search of documents uploaded to hotcrp.com found no evidence of exploitation. The vulnerability was introduced in commit aa20ef288828b04550950cf67c831af8a525f508 (11 October 2025), present in development versions and v3.2, and fixed in commit 8933e86c9f384b356dc4c6e9e2814dee1074b323 and v3.2.1. Additionally, c3d88a7e18d52119c65df31c2cc994edd2beccc5 and v3.2.1 remove support for `save=0`.
Rucio is a software framework that provides functionality to organize, manage, and access large volumes of scientific data using customizable policies. Versions prior to 35.8.3, 38.5.4, and 39.3.1 have a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Custom Rules function of the WebUI where attacker-controlled input is persisted by the backend and later rendered in the WebUI without proper output encoding. This allows arbitrary JavaScript execution in the context of the WebUI for users who view affected pages, potentially enabling session token theft or unauthorized actions. Versions 35.8.3, 38.5.4, and 39.3.1 fix the issue.
OnboardLite is a comprehensive membership lifecycle platform built for student organizations at the University of Central Florida. Versions of the software prior to commit 1d32081a66f21bcf41df1ecb672490b13f6e429f have a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be rendered to an admin when they attempt to migrate a user's discord account in the dashboard. Commit 1d32081a66f21bcf41df1ecb672490b13f6e429f patches the issue.
Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. From 0.20.0 and before 0.25.0, the public share page functionality in Docmost does not properly HTML-escape page titles before inserting them into meta tags and the title tag. This allows Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, where an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of any user who opens a shared page link. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.25.0.
The Web Console component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Data Science - Workbench, TIBCO Statistica, TIBCO Statistica - Estore Edition, and TIBCO Statistica Trial contains easily exploitable Reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities that allow a low privileged attacker with network access to execute scripts targeting the affected system or the victim's local system. Zohocorp ManageEngine Exchange Reporter Plus versions 5723 and below are vulnerable to the Stored XSS Vulnerability in the Custom report.
An issue was discovered in Archer Platform 6 before 2024.04. There is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. A remote authenticated malicious Archer user could potentially exploit this vulnerability to store malicious HTML or JavaScript code in a trusted application data store. When victim users access the data store through their browsers, the malicious code gets executed in the background of the application and renders content inaccessible. 6.14 P3 (6.14.0.3) is also a fixed release.
Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to version 2.0.0, the application allows users to upload SVG files as task attachments. SVG is an XML-based format that supports JavaScript execution through elements such as <script> tags or event handlers like onload. The application does not sanitize SVG content before storing it. When the uploaded SVG file is accessed via its direct URL, it is rendered inline in the browser under the application's origin. As a result, embedded JavaScript executes in the context of the authenticated user. Because the authentication token is stored in localStorage, it is accessible via JavaScript and can be retrieved by a malicious payload. Version 2.0.0 patches this issue.
